Chapter 1334
Chapter 1334
James remembered some information he had found, and he looked as gloomy as a stormy sky.
Esther was spending time with Finnegan!
Making her jealous was the least of what he could do, but he was shocked to find out that Luther had been with Esther. He needed to see him.
He pulled out his phone and quickly dialed a number.
The voice that answered was calm and kind. "Hello. Who is this?"
"Luther, I need to meet with you."
Even though Luther had never heard James's voice before, he could tell who it was from his tone. "Are you still in the hospital? Why do you want to see me?"
He had just finished showering and was drying his hair. He smiled a bit when he heard James.
"Do you want to meet or not?"
Luther clicked his tongue. They shared the same father, but this man didn't have any charm at all. "We can meet, but you need to tell me what it's about."
James kept it brief. "I just want to see you, not take you on a date. We don't need a plan."
Luther was surprised. "I'm your brother. How can you—"
"Tomorrow at 3 pm at the hospital. Bye." James hung up quickly.
Luther thought James might be boring, but he couldn't even take a joke. Yet, they both had strong personalities, so Luther just smiled and shook his head.
The next day, at 3 pm, Luther arrived at the hospital carrying a fruit basket and a bouquet of flowers. He was dressed so formally it looked more like he was going to a funeral than
visiting a patient.
James sat up as he entered, but he still looked weak and pale from his illness, occasionally coughing.
Seeing James's condition, Luther dropped any thoughts of joking around.
"Why did you want to see me?" Luther sat down next to him.
"Why did you go see Esther?"
Luther smiled, as if he was expecting this question. "You pay a lot of attention to this girlfriend of yours, huh?"
"Just answer my question."
"Yes, you're right. I did see her while I was overseas." Luther grinned. "I found her quite interesting."
James glared at him coldly. "Don't even think about it."Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
"Don't worry. She's interesting, but she's not smart. I wouldn't be interested in her."
