Trapped with a Lawyer

Chapter 96 A Dinner of Love and Hate

Chapter 96 A Dinner of Love and Hate

Samuel threw his tie onto the couch and began unbuttoning his shirt. Ella's heart throbbed violently

when she watched Samuel's moves.

Just as her heart was about to jump out of her throat, Samuel stopped at the third button.

She sighed in relief and rose from the bed. The previous posture was inappropriate.

But Samuel would not let her go. They had been separated for a long time!

Ella didn't notice him. She was readjusting her clothes. All of a sudden, Samuel lifted her up from

behind and threw her on to the bed.

It took Ella some time to get over the pain, "Son of a bitch!" She gritted her teeth and cried.

When she opened her eyes and started to get up, Samuel pressed her down.

"Ella Bo, come back home with me." Samuel stared into her eyes and ordered. He couldn't live without

her. He had already become used to her presence even before he could realize it.

"No I won't!"

"Come on." Tears welled in Ella's eyes when she heard his soft words.

All her grievances seemed to disappear because of his gentleness.

But she shook her head on thinking about Emma and Catherine Gu.

Nevertheless, she pulled Samuel down and kissed him.

......

At 9 o'clock in the evening

Samuel came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a bath towel. Ella got out of her bed to dress herself.

She said in a hoarse voice, "Get out of here. You've already got what you want." Wasn't that what he

came there for?

Samuel frowned, what did she think of him? What did she think of herself?

"Ella Bo, I came here to take you home. I've tried everything I can to soothe you. Don't go any further!"

It would be really out of line for her to refuse him.

So, that was his best attitude to her? Ella sneered.

"I don't care. Get out!"

Did she just tell him to get out of here? Samuel's thumb rubbed against the corner of his mouth, and his

wicked look made Ella shiver.

"You... Okay, if you don't go, I'll go!" Ella turned around hurriedly and ran to the door.

"Wait outside. I'll take you to dinner." Samuel commanded.

Ella ignored him and slammed the bedroom door shut.

At Felicia's

Samuel and Ella, one behind the other, went in.

They sat in a booth close to the window. The waiter soon brought the menu. Samuel took it and placed

it in front of Ella, "Order whatever you like."

Ella glanced at him. Did he really need to mention that?

"An Australian steak with black pepper, medium well, a fruit salad, an Italian seafood pizza, a vegetable

soup, and three scoops of H?agen-Dazs, please." Ella named a list of dishes and pushed the menu

back to Samuel.

Samuel handed the menu back to the waiter and said, "I want everything she just ordered, except for

the ice-cream. And a bottle of wine, please."

When the waiter left, Ella looked at Samuel with dissatisfaction, "Who told you to order the same food

as mine? Did I give you permission?"

Samuel spread open the tablecloth in front of him and placed it under his plate.

"The dinner is on you." He casually answered.

Ella was shocked. "For what?"

The waiter brought the wine quickly and poured a third of the wine into the shaker. After pouring the

wine into the glasses in front of them, the waiter left.

"It took me a very long time to find you." He took his glass and held it in front of her. Although Ella was

reluctant, she still took her glass and touched his glass gently.

"I didn't ask you to search for me. After dinner, you go back to your home, and I go back to mine." Ella

took a sip of wine. Samuel rejected.

"No way!"

Ella was angry and downed the wine in one gulp. Then she refilled her glass. Normally she fills a third,

but this time she poured herself two thirds.

She swallowed the refreshing wine, "Samuel, let's be part friends. Even though we were not happy

when we were together, but we can still be okay when we are apart." She wouldn't meet him again, as

he wished, even if she was going to visit their son.

Samuel was tossing the wine glass in his hand. The red-wine liquid slid from side to side in the glass.

Then Samuel spoke, "Ella Bo, you started the game. But you are not the one who will put an end to it.

I'm the only one who can."

Ella was looking out of the window at the night scenery. She was shocked to hear his words.

"You don't want to end it?" She laughed sardonically. She knew he had a woman who he loved. How

could she be so narcissistic to ask that?

"Of course, the game between us won't end until I've had enough." Samuel raised his eyes, looked at

the woman in front of him and drank another glass of wine.

He then frowned and thought: though it was red wine and not very strong, it was never good to drink it

too much.

But Ella began to pour the wine into her glass again. Samuel grabbed the wine shaker from her and

said, "I meant to taste the wine, not guzzle it."

Ella's face was already flushed. She hiccuped and giggled, "What's wrong with guzzle? You said the

dinner was on me. So even if I 'guzzled' another ten bottles, it was still not your business at all." Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

Samuel's face turned slightly livid, but he still managed to keep his calm, "Yes, of course. But I'm afraid

it will be your everlasting regret. That bottle of wine was produced in 1982. It costs at least 300

grands."

Ella choked on hearing this and started coughing heavily. She covered her mouth with her hand. Damn

him! Why didn't he tell her earlier!

Samuel frowned again when he saw Ella coughing. He picked up a glass of lemonade and handed it to

her, "Here."

Ella didn't reject. She took a sip of the water to catch her breath.

At this time, a waiter brought the dishes one by one.

When Ella stopped coughing, she put the lemonade on the table and stared at Samuel. He was cutting

his steak.

"Don't you know I hate lemonade? You must have given it to me on some malicious purpose." Ella

knew she was looking for trouble, trying to pick on him, so that Samuel would hate her and let her go...

Samuel paused. He didn't know that.

"I'll be more careful next time." He answered.

But Ella didn't want to let it go. She continued, "Oh, it's okay. Mr. Shao is so focused on what Miss Gu

likes and dislikes. Of course, he doesn't have time and energy to notice others." Ella's heart hurt when

she said that.

Samuel smiled when he listened to her unkind words, "My, my...Is Mrs. Shao jealous?"

"Jealous——" Your ass! Ella had to swallow back the last two words since a waiter was bringing food to

their table. She shot a fierce stare at Samuel. How scrupulous he was!

Then the waiter put the dishes together. "Mr. Shao, the dishes have been served. Have a nice meal!"

Samuel nodded and the waiter left the table.

He seemed to have become a regular customer here. Ella sneered, "The waiters have known you. How

many women have you brought here?"

Ella had no intention to eat. She simply folded her legs elegantly and kept her left hand under the chin,

taking a sip of her wine occasionally.

"I've had dinner with many people here, but most of them were my clients. If you are not happy with

that, I can take you somewhere else next time." He avoided her question, not admitting that he had

brought a lot of women here, nor denying it.

Then he put his cut steak in front of her and took her portion. "Let's eat!" He ordered.

She drank another glass of wine and then noticed it.
