Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

I’m not mocking it

Marco furrowed his brow slightly when he realized Letta wasn’t by his side. He felt anxious and worried, especially when recalling bad memories. He put on his bathrobe and hurried to the bathroom. After checking the empty bathroom and dressing room, Marco noticed scattered clothes belonging to Letta, reminding him that he forgot to take Letta shopping.

After freshening up, Marco changed into casual clothes and headed downstairs. As he passed the guards and servants, they saluted and bowed, something that was usual at Marco’s house. As he was about to head to the garden, he heard a commotion coming from the kitchen, prompting him to furrow his brow and decide to check first before looking for Letta. In the kitchen, Marco was surprised to see Letta sandwiched between two servants and Desi, observing the messy state of the kitchen.

“What are you doing?” Marco asked, and seeing his wife’s face made him smile broadly. Letta answered somewhat irritably, “Come on, if you want to tease, you better leave the kitchen.” Marco approached them, making the servants and Desi step back. He embraced Letta from behind, gently stroking her round belly.

“What are you doing?” Marco asked, showing interest in what Letta was working on the tablet.

“Don’t you see? I’m making dessert from this recipe,” Letta replied, pointing to the tablet in front of her.

“But why does it look different?” Marco asked, making Letta look at him. Marco rested his chin on Letta’s shoulder.

“Because it stayed in the oven for too long, just a different color. I’m sure the taste will be the same,” Letta said confidently. Marco looked at the dessert made by Letta with a doubtful expression.

“Are you sure it will be the same?” Marco asked again, making Letta nod.

“Of course, just ask Desi and the others. They have already tasted it,” Letta said, pointing to Desi and two other servants who had tried her cake, as if Marco already knew their answer beforehand.

“They did it just to not offend you. Anyway, it’s better to get rid of that cake. And if you want, I can buy one for you,” Marco said, making Letta immediately put down the spoon she was holding in annoyance on the kitchen counter.

“I should have said that this is a good start. You can try it next time, or for the first time, it’s already delicious and good. At least, those encouraging words are what I want to hear, but you just suggested buying it. Of course, if it’s the cakes from the store, the taste is unquestionable. I just wanted to make this Dessert and for you to enjoy it, at least that was my effort, but you just belittled it,” Letta said, making Marco stunned by all her complaints. Marco didn’t know where his mistake lay. After all, he was just offering something nice to his wife. At least, he didn’t have to bother and mess up the kitchen, and make it difficult for the servants. Marco also lied about the dessert being delicious. He just wanted to see Letta enjoy everything she wanted easily, but it seemed his wife perceived it differently.

“Hey, don’t be mad. I was just offering my services. Who knows, maybe you wanted to eat dessert, and I could buy it as much as I did yesterday,” Marco said, making Letta swiftly take off her apron, throw it in any direction, and leave her slightly darker-looking cake behind. Before that, Letta left Marco, who was now looking at her small back with a questioning gaze, before Marco shifted his gaze to the three servants still around him.

“Did you guys really try this cake?” Marco asked, making Desi and the two servants nod their heads.

“Then, how does it taste? Is it really okay?” Marco asked again, making them seem reluctant to answer. This made Marco curious enough to pinch a bit of the cake. Even on his skin, the cake felt rough, truly like sand. It would be even worse if he put it in his mouth, Marco thought, struggling to put it down. After that, Marco immediately looked back at the three servants.

“If you feel any symptoms that make you unwell, treat yourselves immediately and go to the hospital. I don’t want you to report to the police just because you were forced to eat this cake by your employer,” Marco said. After that, he went to follow Letta, who seemed to be heading towards the garden. Meanwhile, Desi and the other two servants just looked at each other. It certainly didn’t taste good, but for some reason, they couldn’t bring themselves to say outright that the cake should be thrown away. Letta’s hard work since morning to make a sweet dessert as she followed the recipe had left Desi and her two friends unable to bear the thought of disappointing her.

Meanwhile, Marco went straight to the garden, seeing Letta watering the plants in front of her with a pouting face. Somehow, Marco just wanted to smile instead of trying to persuade his wife, before he resumed his steps towards Letta.

“Are you angry?” Marco asked, making Letta fall silent. Her attention was solely focused on the blossoming flowers in front of her.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Okay, I’m sorry. Next time, I won’t offer to buy so many sweet treats for you,” Marco said, making Letta look at him again with a disgruntled expression.

“Even if I ask, you’ll never buy it. Are you really getting back at me because I just scolded you?” Letta asked in an angry tone, making Marco fall silent, looking at her with a questioning gaze, then rubbing his face roughly.

“Come on, I just want to fulfill your wishes. I don’t want you to sulk like this. I don’t even know where I went wrong with my words,” Marco said again, making Letta roll her eyes lazily.

“You’ve ruined my mood early in the morning like this. I was excited to serve the dessert I made for you, but you said it like that. It’s as if you were mocking my dessert,” Letta said with a sad face, making Marco, for some reason, even more irritated by his wife’s behavior.

“I’m not mocking it. I just said that the color was slightly different, that’s all. I haven’t even tasted it yet,” Marco said again, forced to lie. Marco hoped Letta wouldn’t drag him back to the kitchen and feed him that large piece of cake. He would definitely give in.

“It’s because you scolded my dessert first, that’s why I don’t want you to taste it. I don’t want you to touch the food I made,” Letta said, making Marco just smile at his wife’s cute behavior.
