The Wolf Who hated alphas

Chapter 18 – Comfort.

Sera could feel the smoke on her face. The forest was dark, but it was lit by the flames of the fire that burned her.

She walked through the flames without fear, seeing skulls on the ground, one of them, totally charred.

Sera stared at that skull until she heard a distant howl. She looked through the trees and far away from the flames was her wolf, calling her.

Sera tried to approach, but someone grabbed her by the neck. It was Lincoln Cohen, her father. However, the hole she saw was also Kallias.

“You won’t be able to get close.” – She heard the two voices together as she suffocated.

Sera stared at her howling wolf. And she did so, even to erase.

The sheets were tightened tightly when she woke up. Her hair sweated and Sera could still feel her throat being tightened.

Trembling, she got up and ran to the bathroom, putting everything that was in her stomach in the sink.

“Sera. Sera. All right?” – Said Kyria rubbing her back in comfort.

Sera said with her head. She was already better.

“Sera. Forgive what I say, but… I think you need medical help. Not physical, but mental. This can eat you up and bring you even closer to Kallias.”

Sera sighed, tired. She took some water to calm down. The friend helped her drink since her hand was trembling.

Of course Kyria was right. This would eventually drive her further and further away from her wolf.

Sera sat on the bed, asking “How? ”

And as the only option possible, the girls went to the boardroom.

Cordelia allowed them to enter and listened to the story intently.

“Miss Waish is right. Luckily, Miss Petrova is in our school today. She comes every week to help us with cases like this.”

And so Cordelia dismissed them and asked Sera to go to Petrova after class.

The class went well, which reassured Sera. Even though she could not look at Karim without remembering what they had done the day before.

“Do not look. ” – thought.” We should not approach, forget about it.”

“What was it?” – Kyria asked after waving in to Jae-Hyun.

“I’ll tell you in Thomas’ room.”

The trio had agreed to meet in the range for more details on the primordial alpha and omega.

“What are these faces?” – He wrote.

“Sera wants to tell us something.” – Kyria whispered.

And with the door closed, she wrote:

“Karim and I kissed.” – She said hiding her face with her hands.

The Colleagues seemed surprised, but Thomas took courage and confessed:

“Joshua asked to help me with the research and I left. I don’t know if I can resist with him so close.” – He snorted right away.

Sera and Thomas soon looked at Kyria and she blushed strongly:

“Why are you looking at me like that?” – She looked away. ” All right, I might be liking Nayssa.” – She admitted.

And in the end, they all laughed. They were fools in love after all.

——

The class ended and Sera managed to look away from Karim as much as possible.

As she left, someone was waiting for her at the door. A tall woman with blond hair and deep blue eyes, much like Yelena’s.

“Miss Abrams, Cordelia asked me to meet you. My name is Natalya Petrova, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Sera introduced herself, now she had understood where those eyes came from.

“Shall we?” – The woman said, indicating for Sera to follow her.

Sera said goodbye to Kyria and followed Natalya. They entered a cozy room, similar to that of the director Cordelia. However, the armchairs were orange.

The doctor sat on a white sofa and asked Sera to sit in the armchair. The woman crossed her legs, marking her black pants and slightly crumpling her white coat. All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

She took a small clipboard that was on the next table and asked Sera for some basic information.

“You don’t have to tell me anything while you’re uncomfortable, right? Let’s start small.”

Sera knew she needed to trust someone. After all, she needed to move on with her life. As long as she didn’t end her inner fears, she never could.

The young woman didn’t tell her everything. Just how it all started. I just said he didn’t treat her very well.

She couldn’t talk about the acts and the marks he left. Even if Natalya already imagined.

Her hands trembled as he told the details and Doctor Petrova gave her a handkerchief and held her hand.

“I think we can stop for today. What do you think?”

Sera agreed and they withdrew from the room.

Yelena waited for them with a smile and ran to hug Sera and kiss her on the cheek.

Yuji looked away, jealous.

“When will you tell her?” – Natalya asked him.

“I’m not worthy of that, ma’am.”

Natalya gave a half smile.

“What a foolish boy. Only you think that. If you do not hurry, she will be free and you will be caught in bitterness.”

———-

Natalya went to Cordelia’s room, knocked on the door and entered when she was allowed.

She sat in the comfortable armchair and accepted a cup of coffee.

“So, what do you think of the case of Miss Abrams?” – Asked Cordelia, taking a long sip of her drink.

“She’s determined. She’ll get over it. The scars on our mind always remain. However, we can create a barrier so that they do not reach us.”

“You’re right. I pity her. I wish she would be happy in the future.”

Natalya took something to deliver to the director. Some extra results on the WolfPaws attack cases.

“Ivan and I are excited to solve this case. But with the magic of the gods, we have great obstacles. We can never underestimate a curse.”

“You’re right.” – Agreed Cordelia. “We’re searching as fast as we can.”

“I heard that the big clans are already working.” – Natalya drank her coffee. ” The Abiyoe with a spy, the Aurelius with the army in place, the Ramesses being more concerned with a foolish revenge. Too bad the Cohens can’t do anything.”

“I don’t agree.” – Cassandra put her cup on the table. ” The Cohens are very active at the moment. Through the secrets of their past.”
