Chapter Thirty Three
I stayed at the hospital for a couple of days along with Sydney and I couldn’t be happier when we were discharged.
To celebrate, Reese decided to take us out to a restaurant. The entire way through this, I couldn’t help but smile.
Reese held Sydney a smile plastered on his face. And I could tell he was beyond happy. Ecstatic. After all his daughter had finally come into the world after such a big scare.
“Say, Reese, have you ever wondered what would’ve happened if the pregnancy went wrong?” I questioned quietly. He seemed to stop playing with Sydney as he looked at me.
“I don’t know what I would’ve done. I don’t know where we’d be what we’re doing, so I never thought of it. And you shouldn’t too. After all, we don’t need to. We finally got our little girl healthy and fine here in our arms making our atmosphere as happy as ever.” he expressed but I couldn’t help but think.
Soon we were out and heading towards my mother’s house. I didn’t get to tell her I went into. Labour with all the sudden events. I stood with trees and Sydney on the porch before ringing the bell.
The door flew open and a girl stood there. I had never seen her before, but she Smelt like Daniel. “May I help you?” she asked. Her voice was sweet as she twiddles with her fingers.
“Ummm yes, I’m. Looking for Daniel.” I said making her heart beat rapidly. I wanted to smile. I’m guessing she is the mate and she thinks I’m the girlfriend or something.
“why would you need to see Daniel?” she questioned in a hurry looking at me in the eyes.
“I came to deliver his baby after all that manwhore at least deserves to take a glimpse of his child.” okay I know what I want doing was mean, but I couldn’t help but do it.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
Soon Daniel came into view. “Colleen?” he questioned making the girls eyes widen. “What are you doing here?” he questioned.
“She came to give you your child.” Reese looked like he was about to burst into laughter. “How could you Daniel? How could you do this to me.” she looked like she was about to let the tears spill.
Daniel looked confused as hell. He looked at me and her, then me and her, then me and her again before it finally clicked.
“Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh! She’s my sister. My sister baby.” he said calming her down. She turned to me with a confused look.
“What?”
I burst out laughing. “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help but do that. Payback is funny right Dani? Hi, I’m Colleen, the super amazing sister of this idiot and this is Reese, my mate. You are?” I questioned her. I had never seen her before. But if Reese hasn’t attacked it meant she’s a part of the pack.
“Forgive me alpha and Luna, my names Britta, it’s just I had only seen the alpha once so never really recognized him and I’ve never met you before Luna. Come in.” she welcomed.
I slapped a smile on my face. My new sister-in-law! Daniel wasn’t kidding when he said he smelt her. We walked into the house but o walked directly to my mother’s bedroom. Knocking, I heard a Faint come in.
Walking in. She burst into tears. “Colleen, baby it’s you,” she said as I walked in a smile on my face I hugged her so tightly. I missed my mom.
Soon Sydney decided to cry catching moms attention. “you already?” she questioned in shock. As I nodded slowly. Reese walked in Sydney in her hands.
Handing her to my mom, my mom held her lightly and turned to us. “You did well,” she said as she stroked my cheek. My mom was beyond anything. But her smile faded a slight moment. “But keep your faith up,” she warned as we nodded simultaneously.
As Daniel walked into the room he noticed Sydney, taking her from my mom’s hands and played with her making her smile.
The night went on as such it was one to remember. And the house for once lit up. It lit up so brightly that not a single frown was etched on anyone’s face.
Soon it was time to leave as we bid our goodbyes. And I couldn’t help but feel a bit sad that we had to leave. But while I was at the hospital for the couple days, someone gave me a hint of Reese fixing up Sydney’s room and I couldn’t wait to see it.
We sat in the car as Reese turned in the radio singing along with it making me laugh. And the screeching of the car along with a Smash of metals had us going. what we didn’t see was the truck heading towards us that hit us from the side.
everything instantly turned black. And the only thing on my mind was Sydney.
