The Russian Don – A Dark Mafia Romance

Julianna.

The next day, I woke up and saw Flora with a cheerful smile on her face. She bought two boxes filled with clothes for me and I was quite surprised looking at the size of the box. She helped me put those clothes into the closet, surprisingly these clothes were my size.

Right now, I am sitting on the bed, with a towel wrapped around my body. Sighing deeply and I stared at my closet. These are some beautiful clothes but I’m not going to stay here long, I will leave this place soon.

I got down from the bed and got dressed, I had one thing on my mind that was tattooed inside, it was, Escape. I have to escape from here no matter what. I’m trying to keep my eyes wide open and grab any chance I get.

Escaping this mansion and island is my first priority, I have to see Stella and plan everything with her. We both need to get away from this island.

It has been two days. I have been trying to find where Stella is. No one says a damn thing. I asked Flora where she is and she said, Quote, “Nikolai doesn’t want me to disclose her location to you,” End Quote.

Fuck me! What does Nikolai want from me!

Do whatever you want Nikolai, I will find her and we’ll discuss how to get away from here and make a plan.

I strolled down the stairs with a purpose to see where Stella was. Where did he keep Stella? I looked around and was suddenly walked onto someone.

“Oh god, I’m sorry,” A feminine soft voice apologised to me, I looked at the person and saw a young woman. She looked more like Flora, “It’s okay,” I said while stepping back.

She smiled and I noticed the smile, it was as if Flora smiled, “Who are you?” words rushed out of my mouth with curiosity before I could control my tone. It came out so rude that I quickly apologised to her.

“I’m sorry, I found you… Familiar!” I said, looking at her curiously.

“You must have met my mom, I’m Penelope Tate,” she said extending her hand to me, I took it,

Flora’s Daughter!

“Julianna Mitchell,” I smiled at her.

“Oh, you’re that Pepper spray girl!” She exclaimed,

“Huh?” I stared at her confused,

Did she just call me Pepper spray girl?

“Forgive me, I’ve heard about you from my brother,” she said,

“Oh, Your brother! Who?” I asked curiously,

“Nikolai! He’s like a brother to me,” She replied,

“Oh, Okay,” I stared at her,

If she’s like a sister to Nikolai, she must be close to him, then I should convince her to ask Nikolai to let me and Stella go.

“Before you ask me to convince my brother to let you go, let me tell you, I don’t interfere in his business,” she said with a polite smile, as I tried to ask her,

My hope crushed, “No, I wasn’t asking that!” I replied trying hard to cover my disappointment, behind my smile.

“Where’s Flora?” I asked, looking around.

“She’s in the kitchen,” she replied, “Wanna Come?” She asked,

“Yeah,” I replied,

Gone the convincing idea, Fuck, Fuck, Big Damn Fuck.

I walked beside Penelope with disappointment rubbing itself on me. Whenever I try something, I’m faced with disappointment and feel completely trapped in here. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

It’s frustrating.

As we walked into the kitchen, my eyes landed on Flora, she was chopping veggies with full concentration on them. I strolled to her and greeted her, “Good Morning, Flora,”

“Good morning, Julia,” She smiled,

“Let me help,” I said and took a knife,

“Thank you,” She said, “You two meet!” She glanced at her daughter and me.

“Yeah, Mom,” Penelope replied,

“I ran into her while looking for you,” I replied while chopping,

“You know what I called her mom, Pepper spray girl,” Penelope laughed,

“What!” Flora had a disbelief look on her face as she turned to her daughter,

“Yeah, I was surprised to see her suddenly and I didn’t know her name, Mom,” she said and apologetic looked at me.

Flora was glaring at her daughter and she was trying not to make any kind of eye contact with Flora.

“It’s okay, Flora,” I said, clamming them both, “She didn’t mean to call me that,” I added with a smile.

“Yeah, Mom, Chill!” Penelope said, “I was just shocked to see her and let’s be Honest, No one ever did that to Nik…it’s worth remembering though,” She ended up laughing at last,

“Yeah,” Flora chuckled,

“I seriously can’t believe you did that, Julia,” Penelope said with disbelief,

“Why?” I asked curiously,

“Look at you… You’re sweet, kind and a delicate flower… Looking at you, no one would tell you that you pepper sprayed my handsome, tall, Intimidating and let’s not forget, Mafia Don, Nik,” Penelope said,

“Yeah,” I rolled my eyes,

Mafia don!

“True that,” Flora added,

“I’m curious, what actually happened?” Penelope asked, curiously.

“Well, I was going back to my Apartment and Nikolai was following me behind to hand me my phone but I thought he was some kidnapper or something and sprayed pepper right on his face,” I said,

“Like right on his face,” Penelope said while motioning her hand over her face,

“Yes,” I nodded my head,

“Jesus,” Flora gasped, “Right on his face! It must have burned his eyes,”

“Yep,” I replied, “He was like, aww, My eyes! Jesus! Oh god,” I began acting like he did that night.

Penelope and Flora began laughing out loud as I kept acting like Nikolai, covering my eyes, and rubbing them, yelling.

“Woman, Argh!” I kept on, “Stop, Oh my eyes,”

“Oh my god! Julia!” Penelope kept laughing out loud,

“My eyes,” I continued,

“Hahaha,” Flora continued as well,

“Such a child!” I rolled my eyes, “Like come on who wouldn’t do that when someone’s walking behind you,”

“Julia,” Flora cleared her throat but I ignored her and continued,

“Does he think he’s a god or something! Such an arrogant man,” I groaned,

“If I knew he’s an asshole, I wish I had this knife instead of that pepper that day,” I said while holding the knife, “and Stab him instead,” I said while stabbing the air in frustration.

“Um… Julia,” I heard Penelope’s voice,

“NO, don’t stop me,” I glared at the cucumber in front of my eyes and gripped the knife harder.

His face flashed in front of eyes, on the cucumber, smirking at me. It was telling me, “Oh you can’t do it, my sweet Julia,” his face mocked me.

You bastard!!

“Nikolai,” I clenched my jaw in anger,

Yes, Julia! He winked at me and was smirking.

How fucking dare, you!

“Die, Die, Die,” I began stabbing the cucumber, imagining it as Nikolai. His face and his smirk weren’t disappearing and it was making me more frustrated.

“Argh, You! Demon! monster!” I yelled,

“Julia!” Penelope called,

“What?” I yelled, turning to her. She was signalling me to look behind me while trying to control her laughter badly. I was too angry and frustrated to understand what she was telling me.

“What?” I stared at her confused, and Flora gestured to turn back.

“Why the hell are…” I gasped and my hands landed on my chest.

He stood there, glaring at me like he would fry me with his eyes, his nose flaring like he was some kind of fire breathing dragon. His jaw clenched making his shaper jawline look sharper than a knife.

I’m doomed!
