Kyle peeped at his wrist watch then back at Arya who had finally calmed down after all the rodents were taken out of the restaurant..

“Stop giving me that look I wasn’t scared or anything” She defended and climbed down from the table..

“I wasn’t… nevermind, my men will look into this incident, I know it was intentional”

Arya gave a small nod, she was at least a bit happy that he showed up to save her restaurant from this mess unlike before where he proved to be a big fat jerk!

Kyle turned around and walked out of the restaurant, Arya sighed in relief and turned back to meet the teasing gazes..

“Do you have a crush on Mr Anderson ma’am?”

Arya snapped her gaze to her female employee who just spoke..

“Why? do you like him already?” Arya questioned back with a teasing smile..

Chloe walked to Arya and leaned next to her ear “why are you blushing Arya? could it be..

“No!” came Arya’s fast reply.

“Listen everyone.. I think we’ve seen enough today.. how about we take two days off? I need to investigate what really happened here”

Chloe squealed out in joy “I love you Arya! you’re the best boss a girl could ever want!”

Arya stepped out of her car which was opened by her driver..

She stared at the cream colored building and was awed by it’s grace but the thought suddenly died down when she recalled who she was here to see..

Her gaze darkened as she matched into the building..

Vanessa chuckled holding her phone to her ear while the other hand held a glass of red wine..

“I wish I was there to see the look of horror on her face” She added laughing her guts out..

Arya walked over to vanessa and stood before her, before she could snap out of her daze, Arya already snatched the glass of wine from her and splashed its content on her face..

“You b*tch!” Vanessa spat out and stood up to her feet..

Arya sent a slap to her face which made her slump back to the sofa..

“So it was okay when you went in and out of my home like it was yours?”

Vanessa stood back up “That house belongs to Kyle! I can go in and out whenever I want!” She fired spitefully only to receive another slap on her other cheek.

Arya slapt Vanessa across her face again and pushed her back to the sofa once more..

“And that is for the chaos you caused at my restaurant today! you’re lucky I hate mice if not I’ll have stuck them all on your scalp!”

Vanessa held her face in anger “what?! how dare you accuse me of…

Arya raised her hand once more “One more word and I’ll leave you picking up your teeth from the ground, I’ve been way cool all this while but if you as much as breathe close to me.. I’ll make you regret living!”

She exhaled and loosened her hair tied into a bun..

“Be warned!” She added and walked out of the living room..

“Hello.. are you there Vanessa?”

Vanessa averted her gaze back to her phone that fell on the sofa..

She disconnected the call with a loud huff and pulled her hair hard..

“That crazy b*tch just humiliated me! I’ll make her pay so much! arrghhh” She took one of the pillows and tossed it over a shelf which knocked down a blue colored vase..

Arya inhaled deeply, today has been quite rough she didn’t get to see her dad earlier..

She stared out of the window watching the trees and houses that moved past her..

“Ma’am.. where’s our next stop?”

The black Porsche stopped in front of Ray’s elementary school, Arya smiled as she saw the kids coming out with their respective parents..

She knew so well that Ray will be delighted to see her, her smile widened as hopped down from the car..

Her face fell when she saw the police van parked next to hers..

“I heard a kid was kidnapped from the school earlier today..

Arya snapped her gaze to the two women who were discussing behind her..

She hurried into the school, she had no idea why her mind wasn’t settled about this of course it could be any kid.. not the country’s famous Billionaire’s heir right?

“You haven’t informed his father yet?! do you have a death wish?” One of the police officers barked at the lady who Arya recognized instantly..

“Mr Anderson won’t take this lightly.. I thought it was just like always where he runs off and return back”

Arya felt the air around her seize, she swallowed hard and moved her shaky legs to their direction.. did she hear that right?

“Excuse me.. who did you say went missing?”

“Why are you asking? it’s none of your business ma’am”

Arya gripped the officer’s collar “That kid could be my son! do you get that?”

Her guards who noticed the unusual drama and rushed to their miss holding her back from the officer..

Ray pulled his hands off the lady’s hand who was taking him to where he knew nothing about..

“We’ve gone so far and I haven’t seen Arya.. take me back.. Arya and daddy will get worried If they don’t see me”

The lady leaned down to him and grabbed his chin “weren’t you thought manners? Arya asked me to take you back home now come with me!”

She grabbed his arm and started pulling him along with her..

Ray cried out, he looked at the surroundings that seemed lonely, without wasting any much time he bit her hand and took off to his heels..

Sharon screamed out in pain and followed the direction he ran to..

“stop there you little thing!” she yelled out..

She stopped to catch her breath, her phone rang out and it was answered immediately..

“block the end of the road he’s running towards that direction.. once you’ve got him, sedate him and take him to ma’am” She ordered and ended the call..

Kyle paced around the room in anger, who would dare to mess with him this way by taking his son away from school grounds?

He snapped his gaze back to Arya who was struggling with police officers, he sighed and walked hurriedly to her..

“Arya.. Arya calm down we will find Ray..”

“What if he’s in some sought of trouble? Kyle do something..” Arya said in tears pounding his chest ..

Kyle’s men walked up to them and bowed “Boss we found Ray’s guards and driver unconscious at the men’s room in the school”

A car came to a screeching halt and the door was pushed open, Vanessa stepped out hurriedly and ran to where they were..

“Kyle I just heard what happened.. oh my God.. Ray he must be scared right now”

Arya’s gaze darkened, of course, how could she forget about the main suspect? she was the one responsible for what happened at her restaurant..

And now she kidnapped Ray and was putting on a sorry expression..

Arya tugged her hair hard “It was you! it was you! you’re responsible for Ray’s disappearance!…

Vanessa screamed out in pain trying to break free from Arya’s grip, Kyle quickly intervened and pulled Arya to his side..

“Enough of this madness!”

“I’m not insane Kyle! she is responsible for everything.. I know she did this on purpose.. where’s my son?!”

Kyle motioned for his guards and in the next minute Arya was hoisted over a guard’s shoulder, she scratched, pinched and pounded his back but all to no avail..

“Put me down!”

“Mr Anderson please bear with us.. my men and I are working endlessly to find little Ray”

“I feel like you’re not doing enough officer.. just leave this to me” Kyle interjected..

The door to a room opened with a small bang as a lady stepped in with a smile..

Her gaze rested on the little boy who lay on the bed unconscious..

She walked hurriedly to the bed and sat beside him, her fingers traced the contours of his face and her heart warmed up..

“He looks so much like his father” she murmured and planted a kiss on his forehead..

She noticed a shadow lurking around the corridor, “Come in Sharon”

“Who’s he ma’am?”

“He’s my son Sharon”
