Talented Wife 13
Drake couldn't understand why Alina was also at the company.
"Hi..." he greeted, but Alina grabbed his wrist before he could finish his sentence.
"Danny, why are you here? Are you looking for mommy?" Alina quickly lifted Drake, burying his face in her chest. This was Johnny's territory. If Johnny saw her son's face, it would surely raise suspicion. If Johnny recognized her identity, her revenge plan would be ruined. "Mommy..."
Hearing the word "Mommy" again, Drake's heart skipped a beat. He knew he didn't have a mom.
He didn't understand why Alina mistook him for her son. He could only guess that maybe Alina had a son who looked very similar to him, causing her to mistake him. But for some reason, Drake really liked Alina. Being in her embrace felt strangely comforting. "Never come here again. There's a big bad guy here!" Alina quickly carried Drake away.
Meanwhile Johnny came down to find Danny, who had done something wrong and fled, only to see Alina holding a child.
"Ms. Chavez," Johnny called out, wanting to stop Alina.
Hearing his voice, Alina glanced back, immediately sprinting away with the child upon seeing Johnny's face. She couldn't waste time talking to Johnny. She absolutely couldn't let Johnny see her son, or it would surely cause a big problem. Alina put Drake in the car and told him, "Be a good boy, don't come out!"
Then she turned to Johnny, who was catching up, and asked, "Mr. Sutton, is there something else?"
"Why are you running?" Johnny asked in confusion. He glanced into the car, but the window was up, and he couldn't see anything.
Drake, from inside, could see outside, trembling as he looked at his dad.
"Does Mr. Sutton also dictate how people move, walk or run?" Alina was frantic, afraid of Johnny discovering the boy sitting
in the car.
"You were just holding a child?"
"It's my son," Alina said.
The fact that Alina from the Chavez family had a son was common knowledge in Dubmeath. It wasn't a secret.
"Mr. Sutton, do you need anything else?" Alina looked stunning, always drawing attention.
Johnny stared at Alina's face, especially her eyes, feeling a strong sense of familiarity once again.
"Have we met before?" Johnny asked.
Her face stirred something soft in his heart. He felt she resembled Diana a bit.
Alina paused for a moment, then smirked, a mocking smile on her lips. "As I said earlier, your way of hitting on someone is so cliché and outdated. Haven't you learned your lesson?" Johnny felt a bit displeased inwardly.

With no reason to stop her, Johnny watched Alina leave. Then he sent someone to find Drake. Unlucky Danny, mistaken for Drake, was found by Johnny's staff and taken directly to the Sutton family's estate.
Back in the car, Alina took a deep breath and said to Drake, "Honey, you didn't see that man's face carlier, did you?"
Drake wasn't sure whether to nod or shake his head. After all, he had seen Johnny's face for five years.
After a moment's thought, Drake shook his head. Alina breathed a sigh of relief, thinking, "Thank goodness he didn't see him!'
"Why didn't you let me see my da... I mean, him?" Drake asked, puzzled.
He felt there might be some discord between Alina and Johnny, but he couldn't figure out what it could be.
"He's too ugly-looking. I was afraid he'd scare you. Also, sweetie, don't come here unless necessary. This company is awful, and the boss here is messed up in the head," Alina said.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
Drake felt a bit unsettled inside. He never thought Johnny was ugly. It was quite the opposite. He believed Johnny was the most handsome person he had seen and exceptionally smart. Although Johnny was strict at times, Drake knew it was for his own good. He always saw Johnny as a role model.
He wondered if there was a misunderstanding between Johnny and Alina, so he asked, "Mommy, don't I have a dad?"
"Your dad is dead. Mommy personally saw to his end. He had a car accident, disfigured beyond recognition, looking hundreds of times uglier than the ugliest monster," Alina said.
Drake didn't know how to respond to that answer.
