Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 292

Chapter 292

Mr. Cedillo really didn't want to see his grandkids anymore. He said, "In my next life, I'd rather not be

human than meet you again."

Later, Andre took the three little rascals home. On the way, Mia said to him, "Honey, you've got to

admit, you're partly to blame for this mess. If you had told me last night who Chad was looking for, we

might not have ended up bothering people today. But since you didn't tell us and didn't let us go out, we

had to find our own fun, which ended up dragging dad into it. We'll reflect on it, and you should too."

Mr. Cedillo was so pissed he felt like ripping off the steering wheel. "Mia, how about I find a hobby class

for you?"

Mia shook her head, "Nah, not interested."

"Think about it. I need some peace."

"Honey, can I come help out at your office?" she started to look for things to do.

Mr. Cedillo: "If you go, I'd end up having to wait on you."

Mia thought it over and figured he might be right. But where could she go?

Suddenly, she had an idea, "You know what, why don't you just dump me and send me back to my

parents'?"

The two in the backseat watched Mia in the front, who left a business tycoon at a loss. She knew Andre

loved her and wouldn't just abandon her.

Once they got home, Andre went into his study and took a deep breath. His phone rang, and he was a

bit nervous.

Seeing it was Chad, he picked up, "Hello."

Chad told him, "We've found all the evidence and nabbed the suspect. Mr. Cedillo, we need your help

again. We can't give the Marshal family any chance to bounce back."

"Okay."

Chad asked, "Molly just said you guys went to the hospital. What happened?"

"Our kids got a bit carried away and ended up sending my dad to the hospital."

"Was Molly involved this time?"

Andre: "No, not this time."

Chad breathed a sigh of relief, good that she wasn't involved.

After the call, Andre called Noah, "Freeze the funds the Marshal family raised abroad and delay the

transfer by a week."

"Roger that."

Andre mentioned sending Mia to a hobby class, she didn't agree but she was afraid her husband would

force her or punish her. So she sneakily went back to her own home.

The next morning, Andre called his dad and reminded him, "Dad, you have to keep an eye on Mia.

Don't let her run around."

His dad said: "You're a bit late, she's already left."

At the hospital.

Mia showed up, making Hansen immediately alert.

"What are you doing here?"

Mia: "To visit you."

"I don't need it."

"You do." NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.

Naomi watched them arguing and couldn't help but laugh, "It's good for Mia to stay here with you. You

just said you wanted to eat corns, I'll go get some."

Mia quickly waved her hand, "You go ahead."

Naomi left Hansen with a smile and went out.

Mia pulled up a chair and sat by Hansen's bed. "Dad..."

"Give me my phone." Hansen said.

Mia didn't know why he wanted it, but she handed him the phone anyway. Before Mia could ask what

he was going to do, Hansen had already dialed a number.

The phone was picked up quickly, and it was Andre's deep voice, "Hello?"

"Andre, come to the hospital and take your wife away."

Andre: "...I'm busy right now. Since Mia's there, let her take care of you for me."

Hansen was pissed, thinking that his son was no help at all.

Mia propped her face and said, "Well, so you were calling my husband. Don't worry, he won't come

today. I sent him a long heartfelt message at the hospital door just now, so he definitely won't come

looking for me."

Andre hung up the phone and looked at the threatening message his wife had just sent on WhatsApp.

It was all her sweet nothings at first, but the last sentence was the crux: piss me off, and I might not

come back to Maplewood Estates.

He smiled and put down his phone.

Alice walked into the office and saw the smile on the president's face, "Mr. Cedillo, what did your wife

do this time to make you happy?"

Andre looked at his understanding secretary, "We're about to move."

Mia was peeling an apple for Hansen in the hospital room.

Hansen watched as Mia threw a large piece of apple skin with flesh still attached into the trash. Mia

often broke the skin while peeling.

Hansen: "Stop peeling that apple."

Mia: "Dad, let me practice. Once I peel off the skin, you can enjoy the flesh."

"If you keep peeling, there'll be no flesh left. Why don't you just let me eat the seeds."

Mia looked at the half-peeled apple in her hand, which had indeed shrunk, "It's not that bad. I think

there's still some flesh left."

Normally, she just bit into apples. If she ate them peeled, someone else would have done it for her. She

didn't have time to peel before eating; she didn't live a refined life.

But she'd seen on TV that caregivers would peel fruits for patients. So she tried to do the same. "Dad,

this knife must be dull."

"Why can Naomi peel it in one go, but you can't when it's in your hand?"

Mia quickly said, "I just can't when it's in my hand."

In the hospital room, the two of them started arguing. It wasn't lonely at all, quite lively in fact.

Naomi was like the head of the household, not good with words, but took good care of him. However,

he was a bit bored, only reading newspapers and using his phone to kill time. After Mia came, he didn't

do any of that, just arguing with her.

"Mia, did Andre hit you when you got home last night?"

"No, my husband would never hit me."

"What about Leo?" Hansen asked again.

He wasn't worried about his grandson, but wanted to know what punishment he would face. If Mia

wasn't punished, he wouldn't be mad. But Leo had to be punished.

Mia thought of her friend at home who couldn't even eat his meal and felt really bad. Then she felt glad

that she had a good husband.

Last night, under everyone's watch, Leo had to drink half a cup of pure lemon juice. After he finished,

his face turned red, his eyes squinted from the sourness, looking miserable.

Mia, seeing Leo's expression, immediately clung to her husband's arm, acting all sweet and adorable in

Andre's arms, making him go soft.

Andre looked at her and coldly asked, "You saw what happened to Leo, didn't you?"

Mia nodded, not daring to utter a single word.

Andre spoke again, "If you mess up again, this is the kind of punishment you'll get."

Mia was exceptionally obedient last night.

Upon hearing about his grandson's punishment, Hansen regretfully said, "Ah, what a bummer I couldn't

see it with my own eyes."

"You can."

Mia handed Hansen a peeled apple, washed her hands, took out her phone, opened her chat history

with Hansen, and sent him the photos of Leo from last night. "Look, your daughter caught a snap of

Leo last night, even made it into a meme. I'll show you."
