Chapter 761
Dashiell waved his racquet, signaling for his brother to come over.
Phinies strolled up leisurely and, upon seeing Sebastian, couldn't hide his surprise. "President Ingram, what brings you out here? Got some time to kill?"Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
"Looks like you're in the same boat, Mr. Wilson."
"I got roped into this by the kiddo here. I've got a million things to do."
"No matter how busy, you've got to make time for my little lady."
The brothers exchanged a knowing look and an arched eyebrow, leaving the conversation hanging in silent understanding.
Dashiell introduced her, "Bro, meet Stephanie, the little lady I always talk about. She's sweet and sensible."
With a nod, Dashiell added, "Ms. Bishop, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too... Mr. Wilson. Dashiell, I thought you were quite the looker, but I didn't expect your brother to be even more handsome!"
Dashiell stroked his chin and said, "Nah... I won't admit he's better looking than me, but I'll concede he's got more presence. If you think he's more handsome, it's definitely because you're not just looking at faces and figures anymore... You're valuing charisma." "Ha, maybe I've been hanging around my Silver Fox too much... anyone without a bit of presence just doesn't cut it for me now."
"See! Even I admit he's got more charisma. Come on, let's get you warmed up!"
"Sure thing. Putnam, Maddie, and Gillian are joining us soon."
"Sounds like a party. I might as well join in."
"No problem! When everyone's here, we can set up a match... Oh no, I'll be toast if we compete; I better start practicing!"
"Right, a match would be thrilling! Don't worry, my brother and I can play. Afraid of losing? Just team up with us."
"I can't do that. I have to stick with
my Silver Fox. I brought him out here; I have to look after him... But I'm not even sure if he knows how to play. His Silver Fox hardly ever came out to have fun.
Sebastian truly didn't know much about these games. While in school, he focused on his studies because Jaxon cared a lot about his grades. After graduation, he was swamped
Work at Skyline Corporation,
leaving little time for leisure.
Always a lone wolf, he didn't have many friends. Except for Putnam, who was naturally outgoing. He seldom made the first move to make friends. But those he accepted, he treated with utmost respect.
For instance, no high society party in
B City could draw him, except for those thrown by the Damon family which he'd grace with an
appearance. That's why many of B City's elite had only seen himat Damon family events.
Usually, Sebastian spent most of his time working at Skyline Corporation or resting at home, rarely going out. Phinies, too, was a reserved man. He rarely socialized.
Now, the two who were not fond of socializing stood together, creating an awkward atmosphere. But for the sake of family business, it was Phinies who finally broke the silence. "What's the message you had Dashiell bring me?"
"Just what it sounds like. Mr. Wilson, just wait for news," Sebastian said, watching Stephanie and Dashiell play on the court, seemingly indifferent.
Phinies raised an eyebrow but said nothing more, his gaze returning to the court. After a while, his eyes shifted back to Sebastian. "Is there money to be made?" "Yes."
Phinies didn't press further. From Sebastian's tone, it seemed like it wasn't a small deal.
