“Oona, how dare you make such claims? Do you have the audacity to portray your brother as the victim? He’s the one who instigated the violence against others! Just look at what he’s done to my son’s face!” Madam Dubin’s voice erupted with fury as she directed her accusation at Oona.
Oona met the woman’s enraged gaze with a frigid stare, her eyes glinting with icy darkness and simmering defiance.
“Then you should ask your son exactly what rubbish came from his rotten mouth that ignited my brother’s anger. Whether you believe it or not, had it been me, your son might not see the light of day tomorrow!
Oona’s words incited a flush of anger across Madam Dubin’s face.
“This is utterly outrageous, utterly! Now I understand the kind of stock the Walsh family hails from, to have produced a daughter of such impudence!” Madam Dubin’s voice dripped with disdain as she leveled her accusation at Oona.
Oona and Simon’s parents, Enoch and Christine, had initially felt a twinge of guilt, knowing their son had struck a son from another family. However, upon hearing Madam Dubin’s condemnation, their expressions soured, displeasure etched across
their faces.
Just as the couple was poised to interject, Oona smoothly hoisted Ryan, who was seated on the couch, with one

It’s worth noting that Ryan was a lad who was around a hundred pounds and stood over five and a half feet tall, yet easily hoisted him up with no sweat.

Oona
At that moment, nearly everyone stood in stunned silence, leaving only Ryan’s terrified voice punctuated by furious curses.
“Oona, you brute! What in blazes do you think you’re doing? Get me down this instant, you worthless fool! Get me down!”
Oona’s eyes glinted with hostility as she shot Madam Dubin a smug smirk. “Ultimately, it appears the Dubin family’s pedigree isn’t all that exceptional!”
When Oona’s words landed on their ears, the expressions of the senior Dubin pair soured instantly. Madam Dubin’s countenance flushed crimson with rage as she retorted, “Oona, what insolence is this? Despite any shortcomings in our manners, we’re still superior to you, you imbecile!”
The I
Dubin family’s haughty demeanor cast a shadow over Enoch and Christine’s visages, darkening their expressions in
response.
“Pamela, you’ve crossed a line. Should you insult my daughter again. I’ll rip your mouth to shreds!” Christine’s voice crackled with fury as she finally stood up for her beloved daughter. Finding her daughter after years of separation, Christine couldn’t bear to witness her being humiliated. She was prepared to endure any punishment if it meant shielding her daughter from further torment.
In her youth, Christine was a formidable person that no one could mess with, but when she became part of a member of the Walsh family, she learned to temper her frustrations for the sake of her children and husband. Since she had severed ties with the Walsh family, there was no longer any restraint holding her back from unleashing her wrath.
Pamela recoiled at the intensity of Christine’s anger, but she was not one to back down easily. She refused to tolerate being insulted and singled out in such a manner.
With defiance blazing in her eyes, she shot back, “Go ahead, try ripping my mouth to shreds if you have the guts, Christine. And don’t you dare forget, your precious Walsh family pales in comparison to the might of the Dubin family!”
Pamela’s words dripped with arrogance as she brazenly confronted Christine, her gaze piercing into hers with the ferocity of a wild animal.
Christine scuffed with disdain, her voice dripping with contempt. “Do you honestly think everyone is as eager to curry with you as those old logies in the Walsh family? 1. Christine Sanders, couldn’t care less about you Dubins!”
Though her words seemed incredulous to those present, her husband, Enoch, believed every word.
How could he doubt his wife? Chostine had never been one to cower before the Dubin family. If it weren’t for him, these Duban individuals wouldn’t even have the privilege of standing before his formidable wife!

Pamela seethed with irritation at Christine’s unyielding demeanor, finding it incredulous that someone as insignificant as her from a humble background would dare to challenge her authority.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree–only a simpleton could produce another simpleton like Oona.
In Pamela’s eyes, Christine didn’t even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Lily and Verona from the second house.
