Chapter 41
Chapter 41
Sabrina’s POV
It’s been two hours since we searched the entire town for Alex’s beast. Her whereabouts are hard to
track because she hides it very well. She victimized 10 hybrids. Most of the folks suspect Lucia
because of the ‘X’ mark on the 4 women’s faces. But they have no evidence. The town folks irritated
me as they kept saying false rumors around town about Lucia. I feel bad for Lucia, but I didn’t even see
her react and defend herself. She just ignores everyone like she was used to it. How brave of her.
I also defended Lucia to the folks and explained that there’s a beast that got in. Some aren't convinced
of my statement and stated their doubts. Without a choice, I let Lucia come with us to save her from the
judgmental folks. The town folks’ behavior is understandable. It is the first time a murdered happened
in the entire Kingdom. They are just freaking out and it’s a normal reaction from everyone.
It was dark and now we are heading towards the world outside the Moonlight Kingdom. As we stepped
foot in the Tibbertan Mountain, I could feel the coldness of the wind as it blew furiously. Good thing I
wore thick clothes.
“Snow is coming this way.” Layla mumbled.
“Yeah. Few hours from now, snow will fill the entire mountain and it will be easier for our enemies to
cross and reach this mountain. Lucky for them, they don’t need to cross rivers anymore.” I said.
“Yeah, lucky bastards.” Lucia uttered.
I looked around us and noticed the bell rock lighthouse in the distance. I narrowed my eyes when
something caught my attention.
“It will be hard to find Alex.” Layla said and sighed.
Absolutely.
“Wait here. I'll be back.” I said hastily and ran towards the bell rock lighthouse. They called me, but I
didn’t listen until I reached the lighthouse. I climbed up the spiraling stairs until I reached the top. I was
right. The bell fell off to the floor while the two light bulbs cracked and were not working. Who could
have done this?
I took a deep breath and used my magic to repair the bell and the light bulb back into its position.
Afterwards, the lights are working again and light up the entire mountain.
“Hey, Sabrina.”
I almost jumped when someone spoke behind me. “Holy!” I mumbled hastily while my breathing hitch in
my throat. My forehead creased while looking at the young man in a black cloak. “Lucas? What are you
doing here?”
He sighed and said, “I was following Alex…”
My ears perked up upon hearing Alex’s name. “Where is she now?!” I asked eagerly.
“She just vanished from my sight after destroying the bell and the lights.”
“What?!” he took a deep breath while staring at the lights.
“Something is wrong with Alex. I didn’t recognize her at first because of the color of her hair and eyes,
but when I stare at her intently, I realize she was Alex. And her aura screams danger.” he said and
walked into the railings and gripped the metal.
“But wait, did you talk to her?” I asked and stepped beside him.
“Yeah, but she said something though.”
“What is it?”
It took him 20 seconds before replying. “She said, Do you want to live or die?"
What? Dumbfounded, I stared at Lucas.
“What else did she say?”
Lucas shook his head. “Nothing. I guess…”
I nodded and pacing back and forth while thinking about what the beast had said. I know it has double
meaning. She knew I would come here.
“Sabrina!” Lucia and Layla called from downstairs. I can hear them climb up the spiraling stairs.
Lucas grabbed my wrist that made me stop and stare at him. “I remember she whispers something into
the air before completely vanishing from my sight.”
“Tell me, Lucas.” he nodded, and leaned into me then whispered something to my ear that made me
shivered in fear. I looked at him unbelievably.
He stared at me and said, “I know she’s not the real Alex. She tried to choke me to death. I thought I’m
going to die, but she suddenly stopped and groaned while grabbing her head like someone was
manipulating her. A black aura was circling her.”
“Listen. You’re right, Lucas. Alex is not the real Alex. It’s Alex’s beast that we need to defeat or else we
are all going to be dead. We need to wake up the real Alex. I know she’s still inside her, probably
trapped.” I revealed.
“What?” he mumbled, dumbfounded.
“Sabrina! Lucas?” Lucia interrupted. We both look at her and Layla, who was panting. “What are you
doing here?” Lucia asked with a creased forehead in confusion.
“It’s a long story.” Lucas said.
“You should go back to the Kingdom, Lucas. It’s not safe for you here.” Lucia said with a worried tone.
Lucas sighed and nodded. “Okay. Have a safe journey ahead.”
We all nodded and stepped the stairs, going down in silence. Thoughts were running in my mind like
crazy. Honestly, I don’t know where to look for Alex’s beast. Who knew where she would go? She’s too
unpredictable and full of mysteries.
But we have to find her as soon as possible. We have little time left. I presume enemies are now
preparing and ready to take their journey coming here. Five days to go. It will be bloody hell. We only
have two choices in the war—Dead or Alive.

Alexandria’s POV
Being trapped in this darkness, give me time to rest my mind and soul. I know I am too exhausted,
that’s why Demonise controls my body fully.
“Alex, are you okay?” Xandra asked. I looked at her and sighed.
“I’m fine. I’m just thinking of a way to get out of here.”
“I think I know how.” Willow said, and we all looked at her. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“How?!” Val asked.
“Hatred.” she replied.
“What?”
“We have to forgive everyone that wronged us. Demonise got free when we were full of hatred.”
“Yes, I’m thinking the same.” Damona said.
“But it’s hard to forgive everyone that wronged us. Especially, Liza the b*tch!”
“Please, let’s control our emotions because it only fuels Demonise. She became strong if we let our
hatred dominate us.” I said, and they became quiet.
“You’re right, Alex. I apologize.” Val said. And soon others apologized too.
“We have to get out of here as soon as possible. Demonise were killing everyone, including the
innocent one, and we cannot let her.” I said.
“Yes, we cannot let her stain our hands with innocent blood.” Xandra said.
“Let’s close our eyes and connect our soul to our body. Let our hatred replace it with love and
tranquility.” Willow said and we do as told. I close my eyes intently and think of one person. Even if my
mate disappointed me many times, my heart still beats for him. I’m willing to let my hatred go for him, in
order to defeat Demonise.
Moon Goddess, guide us with your glow and give us your powers to defeat my beast. And I hope I can
overpower Demonise and make her vow and listen to me as one of my spirits.
“Let me take your hands.” Damona said, and we held hands while circling.

Third Person’s POV
The whole Demon Kingdom bombarded with news after a girl warrior killed a few of the warriors and it
shed blood inside the hall. They stop their night of celebration because of the incidents. But even
without horses, the King will not postpone their journey towards Tibbertan Mountain.
A man in a black cloak approached the King in his throne and paid respect before relaying a message.
“Your Majesty, we now know where the Tibbertan Mountain is. A lighthouse was being lit up 6.2 miles
away from the 5th mountain.”
King Warrick laughed evilly, “Good job, my child. Take a rest. We will leave at dawn.” the man grinned
and bowed down before leaving.
Meanwhile, the news reached King Desmond of the Vampire Kingdom. He seemed skeptical of what
had happened in the Demon Kingdom. How can a girl kill a few of the warriors? Is she possessed by
someone? Did somebody get in the Kingdom?
However, King Desmond ordered his people to rest and prepare for their departure at dawn. He
grinned and twirled the glass of blood in his hand, then took a sip.
But a loud bang startled him and shot up from his chair. He quickly darted out in his room and a mess
hallway greeted him. His pale face became sour and yelled loudly that echoed throughout the palace.
“WHO ON EARTH MADE A MESS?!”
“It’s me.” a voice answered, and King Desmond looked at the speaker. A girl with a dark aura was
looking at him while grinning wickedly. “Finally, we met.” the girl uttered.
“Who are you?!” King Desmond asked while glaring daggers at the girl because the aura he felt
screamed danger.
The girl laughed hilariously. “I see you don’t recognize me.”
“Father!” Vorges called and looked at the girl that his father was talking to. His eyes widened upon
seeing the face of the girl with a dark aura. “A-Alexandria?” he stammered.
King Desmond’s ear perked up upon hearing the name that comes out in his son’s mouth. “You are
Alexandria? The chosen one?” he mumbled in astonishment. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
The girl laughed loudly, but her laughter gave them a creep. “I am not Alexandria.” her deep hollow
voice echoed through the hallway. Vorges creased his forehead while staring at the girl. The girl had
black long hair and black hollow eyes that seemed lost. An image of Alexandria flashed in his head and
realization hit him. This girl is still Alexandria, but someone possessed her body and it’s strong.
Vorges stepped backward, and King Desmond stared at his son’s pale face while staring at the girl.
“Then who are you?” King Desmond asked the girl in confusion.
The girl laughed and said, “You’ll die if I tell you.”
King Desmond laughed hysterically, almost in tears, “Who are you joking with? Listen young lady, I
don’t know who you are and what you are but remember that you are in my territory.”
“Your territory?” the girl said and laughed. “It isn’t your territory, old man.”
King Desmond glared at the girl and tried to choke her, but he grabbed the air. “Trying to kill me?” the
girl said, and a grin plastered on her lips devilishly. He turns around, and the girl vanished, but a
gigantic shadow appears.
Afterwards, another vampire appeared beside Vorges. They stopped and hissed when everyone saw
the shadow lingering around. A laugh echoed that gave everyone a creep.
Suddenly, Vorges stiffened when someone whispered in his ears that give him goosebumps. “Do you
want to live or die?” he turned around only to find no one. But he recognized the voice. He gulped and
swallowed his saliva. He slowly exited at the scene, but he couldn’t move his feet. A shadow entered
his body and his eyes darkened. A black aura circling around him.
“V-Vorges!” one vampire uttered when he noticed the change of Vorges aura.
King Desmond gasped upon seeing his son, who had eyes darkened and hollow. In one swift
movement, Vorges attacked the vampires and buried his fangs fast in everyone’s neck. The other
vampires escaped and someone pulled him out of his son’s sight. He witnessed in his very eyes how
his son was out of control and killed everybody that he saw. He couldn’t believe that his son killed some
of his warriors.
“Vorges! Get on your senses!” he yelled, but he froze when the girl whispered something into his ears.
“Don’t you want him gone, so that the throne is all yours?”
The girl’s laughter echoed, and the shadow came out in Vorges body. King Desmond ran towards his
son when it fell on the floor. When he looked up, the girl was walking towards him while a creepy grin
plastered on the girl’s lips.
“Oh my, it’s so fun! Don’t you like blood, father?” the girl said, smiling devilishly while looking at the
dead bodies of the vampires until it vanished.
“What?” King Desmond gasped in shock and looked at the girl dumbfounded.
“Pleasure to meet you, father.” the girl grinned and continued, “I am Demonise.”
King Desmond's mouthed agape in shock. Demonise walked closer to him. He wanted to run away, but
he froze while trying to remember who this girl was. He doesn’t remember having another child except
Vorges. “You are not my daughter!” he said while shaking his head in disbelief.
Demonise stopped and glared at him furiously. “You dare to deny me?!”
In just a second, Demonise was choking him and for the first time in his life, he felt terrified while
looking at the dark hollow eyes of Demonise who claimed to be his daughter.
“Don’t you remember what you did 18 years ago before I was born?! You rape my mother!” Demonise
yelled that startled him. He gasped and stiffened.
At the mention of rape, Leia crossed his mind. The only woman he lusted for years. Gasping for air, he
remembered everything that happened that night. He was guilty for killing Leia after raping her. But he
didn’t expect that Leia came back to life and became a monster that everyone feared. The child that
Leia bears is his? But Leia was pregnant with Alexander’s baby that time. There’s no way Demonise is
his child. Is Leia giving birth to a twin? And Demonise is his daughter?
It confused him.
Demonise loosened her grip and let him inhale some air, but he couldn’t get out because his body
froze.
“You’re my d-daughter?” he mumbled unbelievably. All this time, he had a daughter with Leia?
A creepy smile plastered on Demonise lips and let go of his neck. He coughed and breathed heavily.
“Is it true?” Vorges suddenly spoke, eyes widened while staring at Demonise. He couldn’t believe that
he had a half sister.
King Desmond stared at Demonise intently. Demonise showed her fangs and hissed. That convinces
him that the girl is his daughter. The girl had his blood of a vampire and a—beast. But he knows that
his daughter is a hybrid of six genes. And thus, making his daughter the chosen one, and the Gifted
Hybrid. And that means his daughter is the most powerful creature on this planet.
The creature they are planning to kill because everyone believes that the creature is the end of them
all.
Now, can he kill his own blood?
