Chapter 14
Chapter 14 "Alpha Leo"
I heaved a sigh of relief when I heard Beta Darius call Leo. Alpha Leo on the other hand grunted in frustration and I quickly took a few steps backward. Beta Darius eyes moved from Alpha Leo then to me. "Was I interrupting something?" "No. 1 laughed nervously. "Of course not. I was about to take my leave." Before Tore Leo
said anything, I sped up the stairs to my room. Throughout that day and the whole month, I made sure not to bump into Alpha Leo so I only saw him only at school. Though he called my attention during his classes a few times, he never asked me to meet him in Sir Martin's office again. The rumors of me being his slut was beginning to die down and a few of my colleagues started to talk to me again. I rarely saw Sebastian too so I could say that things were beginning to fall in their rightful places. Today was like any other day in the month. Less hateful glances were thrown on her way. No Alpha Leo. No Sebastian.
Since
Dakota, her wolf, was no longer back, I watched the others spar with her partners. I wanted to join them. I missed sparring. Though, back at Alpha Leo's mansion as part of the pre-graduation recruitment' benefits, I had a place to train in. There were dummies I could spar with but that was different, I missed the real life experiences I was having when Dakota was still around. The door of the room opened and like every other person in the room, my attention was directed to the door.
I frowned.
It was time to remove the "no Sebastian' from the list because Sebastian, my biggest nemesis, just walked through the door. "Seb, Taylor called out and she ran to give him a hug I frowned.
I had gotten over Sebastian a long time ago, but seeing him and Taylor together still annoyed me. Once again, I was reminded of their betrayal.
Because of the restraining order, Sebastian avoided me, but I could feel him watching me and it scared the freak out of me. Sebastian's presence did not just sit well with me.
It was time e for Alpha Leo's class and I went over to where we kept our bag during sparring sessions, grabbed it and left for the venue of his class.
usual, when I walked into the class, Alpha Leo's eyes followed me till I got to my seat.
As usual,
His clas
class was always like another sparring session. The difference was that lie was there to direct us on what move to take and point out the mistakes we made whenever there was a knock down.
I participated in this because he could interfere whenever he wanted.
"Lupita." I heard him call and I looked at him. "Get me a glass of waterThis content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
I dreaded moments like this
Moments like this only made the rumors seem true because whenever he needed something, he called for nobody's help but mine. He could have asked one of his guards to get hun water. I was pretty sure it was against the rule to send a student on an errand or even drink in class, but again he was the Alpha. No one could question hubnun.

Visibly annoyed. I left for the cafeteria and got a bottle of water from one of the cafeteria's staff for him.
Thank you." I said and I stiffened on my seat. Alpha Leo rarely said those words. Everyone in the room gave each other questioning looks and I wished I had the ability to disappear, because I would have done so. The most I could do was to stare down at my hands. "Alpha Leo, is something wrong?" Traised
I my head from my hands and my eyes met Leo's. I caught a hint of confusion in his eyes and it made me wonder why he looked so confused. Then I noticed that he was sniffing his opened bottled water.
One
of his guards stepped forward, took the water and sniffed it too. "Wolfsbane," he cried out and I froze.
Everybody's eyes were now on me.
"Did you just try to poison the Alpha?" Someone asked and I shook my head.
Why will I poison Alpha I Leo? He
was good to me. Well, he was so good that it annoyed the hell out of me, but that was definitely not enough reason to poison him.
I could not even imagine the scenario,
"I don't know what you're talking about. How did I try to poison him?"
The water you brought for him has wolfshane. You definitely tried to poison him, another person pointed out.
"It must be the fault of the cafeteria. It has nothing to do with him. I have no reason to poison Alpha Leo." Around this time, my eyes were glistening with tears already. This was a serious allegation. I was innocent, but if I was unable to prove it. I was definitely going to die. tons of cafeteria staff But how will I prove i it? I did not take note of the cafeteria staff who gave me the water and there were tons at the cafeteria
I looked at Janice's face to see confusion written all over her face. I looked at Alpha Leo's face hoping he would believe me, but he had a blank expression,
You're
ungrateful Alpha Leo has been so kind to you. Is this how you plan on repaying him?" Taylor sneered. "He trusted you enough to ask you to get him water but you added wolfsbane to his water. I never knew you were this cruel.
I quickly ran to Alpha Leo and sat at his feet.
"She tried to poison the Alpha and now that she is caught, she's trying to seduce him," someone in the crowd said.
Without paying any attention to them, she said: "I did not add wolfsbane to your Im innocent
your water. If there are cameras, you can check
"There are places here without cameras and you know it, one of the guards said, pushing me away from the Alpha "Check her bag Someone in the crowd suggested and I nodded
"Yes, check my back"
I got up from Alpha Leu's feet, rushed over to iny srat, grabbed my bag and rushed back to the guards
They snatched it from my hand and emptied its contents before the Alpha.
Everything that fell out were the things I put in my bag before rushing over to this place, except a small transparent
container.
I did not recognize the container, nor did I recognize the black grounded substance in it.
One of the guards grabbed the container and took it to his nose to smell it. "Wolfsbane." SEND OUT
