Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife

Chapter 28

Chapter 28

“I believe there are 99 of them,” answered Connor. He recalled a news interview in which Zeke Shaw said that there were a total of 99 ads to represent 99 lifetimes of love.

This was something often repeated by Jenny Hall’s fans. Jenny Hall was a popular celebrity in the entertainment industry with

lots of fans.

“Take them all down,” said Jackson.

“All of them?” Connor was shocked.

“All of them,” Jackson confirmed.

“Okay, I’m on it,” answered Connor. Mr. Valor wanted to take down the Shaw family’s advertisements? Did the Shaw family or the Hall family offend Mr. Valor? Or did Mr. Valor disapprove of the marriage between the two families? But didn’t he accept their invitation to the engagement party?

Connor was puzzled. Suddenly, with a jolt, a certain possibility occurred to him.

Maybe Mr. Valor wanted to take down the advertisements because of… Serenity Lewis? Connor was surprised by his own thought.

Would Mr. Valor actually do something like this for a woman? He would offend both the Shaw family and the Hall family for a woman? He did not remember Mr. Valor offending anyone in the business industry for the sake of Mira Hall, the woman who was going to be his wife.

How much did Serenity Lewis mean to Mr. Valor? Connor could only wonder.

Aria Lewis stood at the hotel corridor, looking at the man in a suit in front of her. He was handsome in a bookish way. “Brother -in–law… Oh, my bad, I can’t call you brother–in–law now since you and my sister are no longer dating.”

The Shaw Group was about to produce a big–budget movie. After Aria Lewis heard about it, she went through a lot of trouble to find out that Zeke Shaw was coming to this hotel for dinner, so she took the opportunity to meet with Zeke Shaw here.

Since Serenity refused to plead with Zeke Shaw, she would do it herself!

When Zeke heard the word “sister“, he froze. He recalled the encounter with Serenity in the clubhouse a few days ago. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

Although she was a woman he once loved, she almost caused the downfall of the Shaw family.

If he had not broken up with her in time and the Hall family had not helped the Shaw family overcome the crisis, the Shaw family may very well be a third–rate enterprise by now!

That day, she was wearing the vest of a sanitation worker, and she was in a mess. He did not expect the once proud “best newcomer lawyer” to work as a lowly sanitation worker now after getting out of prison.

When he thought of that, his mind flashed back to the time when her nails were plucked, but she still desperately crawled to

him.

She kept saying that she was innocent!

He almost believed her back then, but there was ample evidence and witnesses. There was no way she was innocent!

That woman refused to admit her crime until the very end!

“I’m glad you know that,” said Zeke coldly.

Aria shamelessly continued, “Umm… Our family can only count on me now. They hope that I can get an important role so that I can earn some money to support the family. But I don’t have a powerful background and my sister is an ex–convict, so it’s hard for me to land a better role.”

Aria tried to make herself sound as pitiful as possible, hoping to gain his sympathy.

But Zeke Shaw’s expression remained cold. Aria continued, “My sister once had a good life. I can’t bear to see her live like this.

I want to earn more money to give her a better life. Brother–in–law, can you…”
