No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 151

Noelle looked up at the man standing before her, and her mind went blank for a moment. Her emotions were like a roller coaster.

She noticed that Cedric appeared unusually calm, as though nothing had happened on the dance floor earlier. But on the other hand, Noelle couldn't maintain her composure. Xenia was surprised after recognizing Cedric's voice. "Noelle, I didn't expect you to be with this school doctor."noveldrama

Xenia's chest swelled with satisfaction. After all, her boyfriend was now the heir of the prestigious Parham family in Yasnia. On the other hand, Noelle's boyfriend was just a humble school doctor-nothing compared to Justin's status. Noelle's cheeks flushed, and she quickly denied it. "Xenia, stop making things up. We're just friends."

She had just embarrassed herself with her failed confession, and now this little bitch was bringing it up again.

"Noelle, stop pretending," Xenia shot back. "There have been rumors at school about you two being together, and then you ran away from home and even lived with this man. Who's going to believe that you're not together?" Justin raised his voice. "Noelle, you're living with another man?"

Xenia smiled knowingly. "Yes, I told you about it before, but you didn't believe me."

Noelle narrowed her eyes. "Do you know why Grandpa Simpson has lived so long?"

Justin scoffed. "Why? Does that have anything to do with what we're talking about?"

"Because Grandpa Simpson never interferes with other people's business and doesn't gossip like some people."

Noelle looked up at Cedric. "Let's go."

With that dumb duo still present, she no longer wanted to stay there.

Cedric's cold, sharp gaze shot a dagger at Justin, his expression a clear warning.

Justin's temper flared at that look. He felt humiliated and, pointing at Cedric, shouted, "What the hell are you looking at? Try looking at me like that again!"

Justin had left Yasnia to have a prosperous life here. No one had dared look at him like that before.

Cedric ignored him completely, standing calm and unbothered. In a fit of rage, Justin grabbed a bottle from the bar and charged toward Cedric. "I'm going to teach you a lesson today!" en

Noelle quickly pushed Cedric aside. "Watch out!"

At that moment, everything around her seemed to slow down. She shut her eyes tightly, bracing for the bottle to hit her.

But the next second, she felt a strong grip around her waist, and her head collided with Cedric's chest, sending a sharp pain through her.

Cedric swiftly kicked Justin away with brutal force. His face was ashen, his gaze sharp and frigid. If he hadn't acted quickly, Noelle would have been seriously hurt.

Justin hit the floor hard, grimacing in pain. Xenia rushed to his side, alarmed. "Justin, are you alright? You're bleeding!"

Justin was in too much pain to respond.

Xenia looked up and said, "Noelle, do you know who Justin is? If he gets hurt here and the Parham family investigates, you won't be able to get away with it."

Noelle held her forehead where it

had collided with Cedric's chest and turned to look at Xenia with cold

disdain. "It was Justin who started it. We were just defending ourselves."

"But in the end, you're fine, aren't you? The one injured is Justin, and he's badly hurt. We'll be calling the police and pursuing this."

Xenia was starting to panic. If

something happened to Justin, the Liddell family would definitely fall out of favor with the Parham family, and how could she possibly marry into the Parham family in the future?
