Chapter 1599: Fulfillment
Chapter 1599: Fulfillment
Sienna had never revealed her inner emotions, and Rex didn't want her to know. He was worried that if she found out, she might regret it and go to Mario for an explanation. Didn't she have the same thought? Sienna took the initiative to embrace Rex, without showing any of her inner thoughts. But that night, she couldn't sleep.
There were many indescribable feelings in her heart.
Strictly speaking, all of this seemed to have started because of her. If it weren't for her, Mario and Rex wouldn't have known each other, let alone have any entanglements or unpleasant incidents.
After a dreamless night, Rex went to the company early the next morning. He had just returned last night and had a meeting at the company this morning. Later, he would return to the Ward's mansion for lunch.
When Rex went to the company, Sienna also woke up. He specifically instructed Sienna not to go out and promised to come back and take her to the Simpson's mansion for lunch after finishing his work. Sienna agreed verbally, but as soon as Rex left, she immediately went out to find Camille next door.
She did this because she was worried that the house servants would immediately tell Rex that she had gone out. So, it was safer to go find Camille.
Camille didn't need to go to the company today because she and Ayan were going to the hospital at noon to have lunch with the old Simpson.
Seeing Sienna coming so early, Camille naturally asked curiously, "Why are you here so early? Shouldn't you be resting at home for a couple of days?"
Sienna was indeed very tired. After coming back from a trip, she needed a good two days' sleep. Moreover, she had been out taking wedding photos, which was truly exhausting.
But at this moment, how could she sleep soundly?
She pulled Camille to the gazebo in the garden and asked softly, "Did Ayan go to the company?"
Camille nodded and said he did.
Then Sienna told Camille what Rex had told her last night. In fact, Camille already knew because Ayan had told her last night. So, she wasn't too surprised after hearing it and just asked Sienna, "What do you plan to do?"
Sienna said, "He told me not to go to Mario. I understand why he said that. If possible, I wouldn't want to go either."
But at this point, if she didn't confront Mario, she couldn't swallow her anger.
She told Camille, "Sometimes I wonder if Mario can't let go of me and that's why he won't leave me alone. But thinking about it carefully, this person has no conscience at all. If he had any conscience, how could he do such things? This time I don't intend to let him off because he's crossed my bottom line."
No matter what Mario did to her or how difficult he made things for her, she could endure it and deal with it. But Mario shouldn't have transferred these difficulties to Rex. After all, Rex hadn't done anything despicable.
Sienna asked Camille, "Do you think I should take a knife when I go see him?"
Camille laughed, "If you take a knife, you'll be caught before you even get close."
Sienna sighed and said, "Then what should I do?"
"The best way is to cooperate with Rex. Only then will you not disrupt his plans. If you really go to Mario, it will make Rex uncomfortable. He might not do anything impulsive now, but after you confront Mario, he might do something irreversible out of anger. Do you believe that?"NôvelDrama.Org holds this content.
Camille analyzed softly. In fact, when Ayan told her last night, she had already guessed Rex's thoughts and confirmed with Ayan if she was right.
Her guess was correct.
Ayan also told her that Rex didn't want Sienna to confront Mario. Since nothing was public yet, Mario would naturally deny everything. Moreover, there was a concern that Mario might use this as leverage against Sienna.
No matter how difficult it was, Rex didn't want Sienna to bow down to Mario.
That was his bottom line.
So he hesitated for days about whether to tell Sienna.
Camille had experienced similar feelings before. When Preston kept targeting Ayan and the Simpson Group, she couldn't help but wonder if it was because of her that Ayan faced these troublesome issues so often.
She had also chosen to confront
Preston alone several times but never reached a clear resolution. Preston never restrained himself
all. Sometimes talking nicely do
solve problems, but reaching a consensus with Ayan and facing things together meant no one could defeat them.
Based on past experiences, Camille patiently persuaded Sienna.
After listening, Sienna didn't immediately respond but held her head in frustration. She said, "I understand what you mean. I know confronting Mario might not solve anything, but I feel so wronged. I feel wronged for Rex. Why does Mario get to do this? Who does he think he is?"
Sienna took a deep breath, her eyes red and filled with deep-seated restraint.
Camille gently held her hand and

said in a low voice, "I understand what you're saying. But since he's doing this, he won't think about fairness, he'll just persist until you give in. Actually, he's not just targeting Rex; he's forcing you to make a choice. Rex probably knows this too."
"You mean he knows I went to take wedding photos and is worried we're about to have a wedding soon, so he's forcing me like this?"
"That's one way to put it. Besides that, there doesn't seem to be any other motive."
Sienna didn't immediately respond but fell into a brief silence.
Her face was cold and stern, her eyes filled with deep emotions as if lost in thought.
Seeing her like this, Camille worriedly said, "Sienna, did you hear what I said? Don't go find Mario; it'll only make Rex worry. The last thing he wants is for you to confront Mario over this. So please fulfill his wish!"
Between Mario and Rex, Camille would unconditionally choose Rex.
Having witnessed the interactions between these two men and Sienna firsthand and everything that
happened along the way-Mario's rejection of Sienna and erasure of all her efforts-had already determined the outcome. You can't expect someone who rejected you heartlessly to wait forever, even if someone does wait without
expecting anything in return, they will eventually move on.
As for Rex, he ended his engagement and actively created a future with Sienna. His efforts were evident to everyone around them. Naturally, people thought Rex was more suitable for Sienna because she could be herself around him.
Camille knew this well, and so did Sienna.
So after Camille's repeated reminders, Sienna said, "Alright, I promise you I won't go find Mario for his sake. But I can't swallow this anger."
Since Mario did such things, she should respond appropriately; otherwise, how could she justify his attempts to stay relevant?
