The Wild Voice
Just as we finished discussing, Theolus sensed the presence of the same Grandage, by his sudden and strange gestures which he was making.
In a jiffy, I thought of what kind of being Grandage could be, maybe he was even greater than described, maybe he was less, but I didn’t think that less of him.
So, I now guessed he was the same person I saw, in my dream. After all, they both shared many similar characteristics in appearance and personality.
Scabbiana was that strong Luna for Hoses, and I came to also know that, she was for Grandage, then Hoses could be fullnamed as Hoses Grandage.
Well, I wasn’t cocksure I was right, but maybe at least, I made a reasonable assumption.
If I got to know Grandage, and that he was the Hoses I’m a friend to, I would actually improve my magic and be strong enough to succeed in my tour to the Diliuni Sea, which was to be soon.
Diliuni Sea was a very wide ocean, even though it was preferred to be called a sea. It had many sea creatures in there which were solely responsible for strengthening anyone – human or transformative being.
This made me remember Diana’s story about Diliuni. She said her mother gave birth to her in the shore of the same Diliuni Sea – the seaside. No wonder Diana had been claiming to be having powers of water too, apart from fire.
Immediately she was conceived and brought out of her mother’s womb, she slipped down the seaside into the Diliuni Sea, and almost drowned – that’s why Diana could now perform some feats while fighting, like sliding, fast-shifting and gliding.
Diana’s mother quickly moved towards where her daughter, Diana fell. And, as soon as she held her hands and looked at that sea angrily, her eyes grew so red that the same Diliuni Sea reflected it – it turned very red and deep, and also appeared darkish.
There came the powers of fire and water!NôvelDrama.Org content.
Diana was indeed the Dynasty Queen, because she could control fire with water, and water with fire!
I stumbled upon these thoughts, which were coming after the other. I never really knew why Diana had strange qualities, even as a manly woman.
Diana could date a masculine human or feminine; she would kiss a female friend in the same way she would kiss a male friend! She just was special, strange and supernatural!
“But, why am I fated to this kind of person? Why a lesbian? Why a multi-gender being? Why am I glued to marry a woman of fire and water? What if I get her angry and she burns me up with fire, or swallows me up with water?” I asked myself.
It seemed like I was expecting an answer, and actually an answer came.
Who spoke? While I was the only one at the yard, who had been by me unknowingly?
So, I started making some speculations which proved a bit stupid though. I first thought the voice to be that of a monster’s.
The voice must be helpful this time, and should be able to solve my problem!
“What did Pappo Reye tell me about fire? Did he ever mention any powers related to water, before? I actually don’t know…” I murmured, as my hands gently swept my hairs backwards.
“Diliuni means something you do not know!” the voice said.
“For me, the only meaning I could give to or remember for ‘Diliuni’ was ‘brimstone’, I had no idea of how it was reflecting in Diana’s choices; her cravings and aversions made her look like a strange person to me.
“Okay, maybe brimstone or a fire storm?” I answered the voice, lashing it with a secretly invited question. I was going to know the true nature of the voice.
“In the modern world that you are…” the voice continued.
“Modern… what?” I asked, breaking the strange voice in between its abstract jaws.
After cutting in, I decided to be mute, so I can listen and probably also decipher what it was saying.
“Diliuni is the only place where Diana can be powered. There are going to be series of war, or combats with the beings of the entire Manelda…” the voice started again.
“Why the war?” I asked, interrupting the voice another time.
“The war is a result of clashes among the beings… also, many Omegas are still wallowing in their memory loss, and we just have to solve that problem! What do you think?”
“Deep and thoughtful enough to consider…” I muttered in response.
“Diana and you, Herdy… both of you must save the Diliuni Sea, its seashore and the inhabitants of the land!” the voice hollered with intense seriousness.
“How can I save this dangerous Manelda? How possible is that?” I questioned myself, but was glancing through the traces of the voice – from where it was coming.
“Diana and you… that’s what I said now…” the voice stated.
“How, still?”
“If only you can gain more knowledge of geography and necromancy…”
“Necromancy is part?” I asked amazingly, eager to know though I was expecting a no.
“Don’t break my words. It is dangerous to do, because you will not understand, if you keep interrupting!” the voice declared.
“But at least, let me see who’s speaking with me…” I requested rather shyly.
“You will know who is speaking with you later. It is not for now” the voice responded.
“Maybe I need to discover more secrets…” I thoughtfully said.
“Now, you are understanding me little by little. That is a pass mark on your end, Herdy.”
“Shifting is an gateway to getting more secrets to prevail…” the voice started.
“I’m not interrupting now… you actually paused yourself, please…” I explained, gazing at a strange ray of light that suddenly appeared over the spot, where the voice was springing from.
“I know… so, make sure you don’t react from a heart of rebellion, to the spirits of the moon”
“Understood!” I exclaimed in agreement. I was going to add ‘Lord’ to my statement, but I realized I hadn’t seen the one who was talking yet.
Maybe, I needed some rest, that would make me meditate and think faster and more intelligibly.
“Don’t bother about knowing me. When the time comes, you will know” the voice assured me.
In a twinkling of an eye, the voice stopped. I could no longer hear anything – even the ray was gone!
I was shocked. The voice did not sound like that of Diana, and so that was contravening my thoughts, that it was her speaking to me since.
“What is happening?!” I screamed.
