Mated to my sister’s ugly mate

During this time, Shadow was not only surprised but also shocked. Her wolf instincts were on high alert as she approached the young man, her expression serious. “What is your connection to the Lances family?” she questioned.

The young man’s face remained indifferent as he replied, “Distant relationship. However, I’m not close to the people of the Lances family. I don’t have any money either!”

Shadow realized that this young boy had been living in her house without permission, and now he was wary of her intentions. Was he afraid that she would kidnap him and demand a ransom from the Lances family?

“Are you truly Alpha Dominic Lances?” Shadow asked in a hushed tone. “How many people in the Lances family bear the name Alpha Dominic?”

“Why do you ask so many questions?” the young man became even more vigilant. However, his youth rendered him less intimidating.

Shadow sensed that this child was not easily fooled, even though she didn’t understand how he had managed to enter her room and make himself at home.

When he spoke, she detected a distinct foreign accent, suggesting he had spent a considerable amount of time living overseas. All signs pointed to the possibility that he had run away from home.

Shadow curled her lips into a smile. “My little friend, have you run away from home? Are you not used to living in a place like this? Shall I go to the Lances family and find someone to pick you up? What do you think?”

He glared at her suddenly, growing anxious. “No! It was not easy for me to escape!”

As she had suspected, her guess proved to be correct.

“Do you know that trespassing is a crime according to the Penal Code?” Shadow stated calmly. She couldn’t handle the big Alpha Dominic at home, but this little Alpha Dominic was more manageable.

The expression on Little Alpha Dominic’s face changed when he heard this. Panic flashed in his eyes as he exclaimed, “I’m the only one in the Lances family called Alpha Dominic!”

Most of the time, he lived overseas and would occasionally return home for vacations. Still, he remained unfamiliar with the country and felt a certain fear when confronted with Shadow’s threat.

When Shadow heard his words, her expression faded, and she was left momentarily stunned.

If the Lances family only had one person with the name Alpha Dominic, then who was the big “Alpha Dominic” at home?

She gazed at Little Alpha Dominic for a while, causing him to grow apprehensive. “What’s wrong with you?”

Shadow was about to speak when a voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Little Alpha Dominic looked at her awkwardly before pretending to be fierce and loudly exclaimed, “What are you looking at? Have you never heard the sound of hunger?”

The person known as “Alpha Dominic” clearly had a bad temper.

In the restaurant, Shadow observed as Little Alpha Dominic devoured three bowls of beef burgers in a row.

Having rented a house in the slums of Herton Pack, there were no decent restaurants in the vicinity. Only a few small unknown eateries were available.

Little Alpha Dominic had initially protested against going inside, but his hunger had driven him to follow her.

As he sat down and took a bite of the food, his eyes lit up.

After Little Alpha Dominic finished three bowls of burgers, he finally spoke about what Shadow had asked him.

“I used to live in Australia. I wanted to participate in professional e-sports competitions, but my mom didn’t allow it. She didn’t even give me any money. So, I ran away from home to scare her. But you mustn’t tell the Lances family that I’m here. If they find out, they’ll capture me and take me back.”

“E-Sports? Shouldn’t you be focusing on your studies at your age?”

Little Alpha Dominic corrected her, “That’s a job, okay? In the e-sports industry! It’s my dream!”

Shadow scoffed, “But you’re only 14 years old.”

Though she didn’t know much about the e-sports industry, she understood that at his age, he should be prioritizing his education before pursuing a career.

Little Alpha Dominic snorted, crossing his arms and raising his chin defiantly. He appeared quite arrogant.

Shadow couldn’t help but find this child amusing.

Tapping her fingers twice on the table, Shadow asked casually, “Who is Alpha Kilian to you?”

“He’s my cousin. Isn’t he famous around here?” His expression suddenly changed, and he earnestly warned, “Although he’s rich and good-looking, he’s already married. Don’t try to pursue him.”

Shadow caught onto the keywords in his tone, specifically, “good-looking.”

According to rumors, Alpha Kilian was disfigured and unable to engage in sexual relations with a woman. How could he be described as good-looking?

As suspicion clouded Shadow’s face, Little Alpha Dominic’s expression shifted. “You must forget what I just said!”

His family had warned him not to discuss his cousin casually in front of outsiders, but it had slipped out unintentionally. However, this woman appeared innocent, so he reasoned it should be okay.

Shadow had no intention of paying further attention to Little Alpha Dominic.

During this period of time, all the things that had made her suspicious after marrying into the Lances family could now be explained logically.

“Alpha Dominic” and Alpha Kilian had never appeared together.

“Alpha Dominic” resided in the master bedroom.

Frank often stayed with “Alpha Dominic.”

When Frank witnessed her falling into Alpha Dominic’s arms at the restaurant, he only seemed momentarily surprised before leaving.

The black card and expensive car…

“Alpha Dominic” had openly flirted with her, showing no restraint.

If he had unrestricted access to Alpha Kilian’s Castle and he wasn’t just Alpha Kilian’s cousin “Alpha Dominic,” then he could only be Alpha Kilian himself!

This realization shocked Shadow to her core, leaving her unable to regain her senses for quite some time.

Unable to sit still any longer, she abruptly stood up and rushed out.

Little Alpha Dominic saw her about to leave and quickly followed. “Where are you going?”

Before he could finish his question, Shadow had already disappeared from sight.

Satified, Little Alpha Dominic rubbed his full stomach and playfully ran his fingers through his curly hair as he muttered to himself, “At least lend me some money before you leave.”

Shadow hailed a taxi and headed straight back to the Castle.

She entered aggressively, immediately catching a bodyguard’s attention. She inquired, “Is Alpha Dominic here?”

The bodyguard stuttered in reply, “He… isn’t here.”

Shadow proceeded to check the study and bedroom, confirming that there was no sign of “Alpha Dominic.”

Everyone in Herton Pack knew that Alpha Kilian was “ugly and impotent.” That was the general perception. Even Jessica had urged Shadow to marry into the Lances family to escape the engagement.

Naturally, Shadow had believed that Alpha Kilian was a physically unwell individual. Despite her suspicions over the past two or three months, she hadn’t entertained the thought further.

That is, until she encountered Little Alpha Dominic. Although he seemed peculiar, there was no sign of him lying.

Gradually, she began to calm down and decided not to rush into questioning “Alpha Dominic” about his true identity.

She wanted to be certain that “Alpha Dominic” was indeed Alpha Kilian. And if that proved to be true…

Then she would play with him, slowly unveiling the truth.
