Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter-73: Wait for your Angel

Allison was standing shell-shocked, worried, feared, clueless and dumbstruck. Now she came to know from where she got the ability of a banshee. Her mother was a banshee too.

After screaming for one long minute, Akira fell to the ground in a weak state and Lyceon held her body. All were dead around them. Lyceon couldn't understand what happened but He glimpsed Thana and Keir had escaped from there. Akira's face paled as she laid in his arms almost lifeless on the ground.

"Mom!" Allison screamed and ran to her mother but she couldn't touch her in her soul form. She was witnessing her mother's death. Tears rolled down her eyes like a waterfall.

"Hey, nothing will happen to you...." Lyceon tried to comfort her. He had so much to ask her and talk to her but He didn't know that she came with her death today. Akira smiled at him with slow breaths and grabbed his hand.

"Lyceon, listen to me carefully. You have to live, take care of you and your sister. I could only do this for you." She took a deep breath and continued, "Thana and Kier had escaped but they will come again for you and Ashina. Don't let them overpower you... wait for the right time. Wait for your.. Angel!"

Allison's breath stuck in her throat hearing her mother's words.

Lyceon frowned at Akira with a confused look. "They killed Bernard and Rhea, Akira and now you are going to leave me too. I can't let you go away like this when I just found you.. You need to live...." He hissed as his skin burned with that long cut on his face.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

"I will take you to the pack infirmary..."

"Nothing can save me now." Akira breathed out slowly as her life was leaving her side.

".... I had sacrificed my powers already and now I broke my last vow and used the shield power to protect you. Your people also got killed in the process. We have lost so much for years, Lyceon. But now, don't lose yourself in the name of revenge."

"I can't, I can't let them live, Akira... I will fucking slaughter them." He growled. Akira nodded, squeezing her eyes and cupping his face. She looked into his red enraging eyes.

"Time will come, you will have your powers but only your mate will strengthen your powers to fight the enemy. She will come at the right time. Wait for her.. Wait for your Angel, Lyceon."

Allison was crying badly. Her heart was breaking apart seeing them together having this conversation before Akira's demise.

"She will guide you, she will be your strength, you have to wait for her.... You are the last living lycan on the earth. the prophecy will come true. You have to trust in the moon goddess...."

Akira clenched his hand before a lone tear left her eyes. Her heart was giving up, she closed her eyes slowly before murmuring, "You all children will make it true..."

Allison screamed and fell near her mother's lifeless body. Her heart was aching badly seeing her mother for the last time. Lyceon closed his eyes and breathed sadly. He looked around to see the dead bodies on the ground of enemies and his own people, his mind numb and his consciousness was blank.

He couldn't think what to do.

Allison shook her head and tried to touch her mother's calm yet ashen face.

"Mommy... No please.. don't leave..."

Allison broke into sobs, she was trembling in shock and trauma. She felt like her heart would split into two, suddenly her breaths turned short and she went hyperventilating as a few fading voices started buzzing in her mind. 'Allison.... Allison. Come back!'

But she didn't pay heed to anything or anyone around them. She was sobbing hard near her mother's dead body. She was finding herself in the dark despair of her mother's death.

'King, you have to interfere. She is stuck. Call her back!'

Allison's body shook badly as she was losing her mind.

'ALLISON, come back right now....'

A familiar strong voice hit her ears. She was startled looking around in a shocked sense. Her head started banging badly as she held it with tears-filled eyes looking around frantically, dumbfounded.

Her sight darkened slowly. A scream left her mouth as immense pain hit her body like something strong was yanking her soul out of her body. She was feeling like dying.

And then her eyes went to the eighteen years old Lyceon who raised his dark eyes, and looked directly into her hazel ones.

Allison's breath stuck when He looked at her like this. It seemed like He could see through her soul, she moved her numb gaze to his lips as she felt him saying something. Her ears beeped and her mouth dried as her eyes stuck on his mouth to comprehend the words.

"ALLISON! GO BACK... NOW!"

Allison sucked a deep breath and something yanked her body back so hard that she screamed, closing her eyes.

"What the fuck happened to her?"

Allison snapped open her eyes screaming loudly. Her head was aching like someone had been hitting it with the hammer.

"Shh...calm down! Inhale and exhale slowly." Allison breathed harshly, following the command with a numb mind. Ashina's face came into her view.

Then she looked around at everyone and found her both hands in a tight grip. She sat upright and looked at Felicia whose nose was bleeding with distressed features. She was still holding Allison's hand tightly. Allison gulped and looked at the other person who was holding her.

She looked up to see Lyceon looking at her with a blank expression. His hand was holding her firmly. Her lips parted as she stared at his face from close. He was so different from ten years before.

"You literally put us all on the edge, Ali. You were stuck there. Felicia had to force her powers to pull you back and the King had to interfere in the past to call you back." Mason said with a worried stare.

Felicia sighed, finally leaving her hand and wiping her nose with the cloth Aztec passed her. She was also exhausted from using her powers on them.

Allison looked at Mason blankly and then a sudden sob left her mouth. She closed her eyes, weeping silently recalling her mother's death. Mason turned apprehensive and scooted near her.

But Lyceon raised his hand and stood up, taking her in his arms and ordering everyone in the room.

"Nobody will disturb us until I say so." He commanded and took Allison from there to his room.
