Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter- 25 -Bloodsucker

Allison gulped her saliva down her throat before following Ashina with lowered eyes. She felt like a two years old freaking pet who was seeking out for protection.

She didn't poke persistent Ashina again and let her buy everything for her.

"I had to warn her twice to harness her hunger towards you. But... " Ashina turned to her and her hand automatically brushed Allison's neck who suddenly shivered with her touch, the intense stare was robbing her mind from its sanity. "But your pure blood is calling her." Ashina whispered. Allison blinked thrice.

"We Should be get going then. I don't feel good." she muttered. Ashina nodded in affirmation.

'Goddess knows only what kind of creatures work in this Mall.' Allison sighed.

"Wait, aren't we paying for this?" She asked when Ashina passed the purse to the counter lady before walking ahead.

"Now that's what I meant. We don't need to pay, Girl. This place and mall is owned by Lyceon, your lovely captor." Ashina smirked seeing her jaws drop down. Bloody fortunate brute!

"Indeed. He is a trillionaire creature." Ashina chuckled again reading my thoughts.

"But.. I don't feel like getting these for free. I don't know how long I will stay here. So...." Allison trailed off, offending by looking like some gold digger.

Ashina turned to her with rigid features.

"Look, you are not our guest. You are someone chosen by my brother. You are his person. So it means you possess the equal right as him. Though I don't like to say this, it's true. And He would never let you go anywhere until He lives or until He wants." She said as a matter of fact, shrugged her shoulders and dismissed the topic.

Dread pooled in Allison's stomach, that sick obsession in Ashina's words about her was drowning her sanity.

'I have to get out of here as soon as possible.'

"C'mon, let's grab something before we have some fun." Ashina walked to the cafeteria on the second floor. After having the coffee with her favourite cheesecake, Allison excused herself to the washroom.

She flushed out her heavy bladder and washed her face. She was setting her hair, looking in the mirror when she felt a ghostly presence behind her. Slowly Allison raised her eyes and was shocked to see the same vampire woman.

What scared her most was her red eyes with the veins appearing under them and her ashen face. She snapped her sharp fangs and an abrupt scream left Allison's mouth but the woman grabbed her and slammed her to the wall before glaring at her.

"Please.... leave me!"

But her tight grip caused Allison to whimper as she cried. The woman breathed in her neck while licking her lips. Allison saw her saliva almost leaking out of her mouth.

Just when Allison thought she would die today by this blood sucker creature, Someone ripped her body back and threw her away in the next second.

Her body knocked into the wall and Allison heard the tiles cracking sounds. Stunned, she saw Ashina walking to her and yanked her up by grabbing her hair.

"I warned you, Didn't I?" Ashina growled and Allison swallowed the lump that formed in her throat at her deep voice. Her beast surfaced to punish that vampire. Allison wiped the lone tear which left her eye.

"I.... I apologise, Princess. I couldn't control.." The lady begged her, her eyes turned to her original shades as she pleaded with Ashina. Allison noticed the blood leaking out of her skull onto her temple by the powerful knock into the wall by Ashina. She begged on her knees for mercy. Within seconds, the blood on her skin vanished away but her terrible shaking didn't stop.

"Have mercy on me, princess. I am sorry. I'm sorry...." The woman repeatedly cried out on the verge of passing out from the terror Ashina was rising up and Allison could feel the four walls absorbing her dark aura just like her brother. Ashina spared a look at her and Allison stiffened seeing her black pitch eyes from Grey one. Ashina turned to the woman silently and clutching her neck she warned her unblinking.

"Next time I find you even staring at her or any of the humans, I will slaughter you." She gave her an ultimatum before pushing her at the door. The woman whimpered and nodded quickly before running out.

"I hope you are fine." Ashina reached out to Allison before inspecting her body, especially touching her neck.

"I'm fine." Allison said, assuring her. She sighed in relief.

"Good, otherwise Lyceon would have hung me on the casing for months." She muttered, earning a weird look from Allison.

"Let's go...!" Allison followed her silently to the parking lot. They threw the shopping bags on the backseat and slid inside.

"Ashina, can I ask a question?" Allison asked hesitantly before she ignited the car engine. Though today Ashina saved her life but still Allison had developed this tiny fear about her. She was the only lycaness for gooddess sake and the strongest

"Shoot!" Ashina glanced at her before going down the road.

"Can a werewolf do mindlink with another shapeshifter?"

Ashina cocked her perfect brow at her and smirked. "Not until you pledge your loyalty to our pack or kingdom." She responded.

"Oh! You said that mall is owned by your brother so other shapeshifters might be working there under him like that vampire woman. Is it admissible?" Allison asked out her doubts.

"Yes! Few of them work there and what do you mean admissible? Lyceon is the ultimate ruler of the city. He had taken multiple packs under his wings by conquering them and providing them with jobs and lifestyles they chose after giving their loyalty. Once you submit yourself to him, you can have the life you want but if not, you are as good as dead. So basically you don't have options. From werewolves, witches, vampires, fairies, werecats, bears to other shifters, everyone is connected to him except the traitors of their own kinds." She explained to her.

'So basically her brother killed the packs in the war only to grab them under his will to strengthen his own kind and pack. God knows what He would get by this, killing innocents and defeating the world into his feet.'

"What do you mean by traitors of their own kind? Did some go against his rulings?" Allison asked, carefully choosing her words.

Ashina chuckled with humour.

"The words like dark lord, Alpha king of Alphas, dark walker or lycan king don't follow his names for nothing. He is an inexorable person who sets his own intentions and fulfils them accordingly."

A cold shudder ran down Allison's spine thinking about this. What are his intentions?

Ashina turned to examine her expressions and smirked elusively.

"Enough about Him. I think you have got enough for today and I don't want you to pass out knowing his dominant and infamous deeds." She jested and pulled into the front of an illuminating store. Allison furrowed her brows wondering why she stopped there. It's already evening.

They stepped out and Allison gasped witnessing the exterior of the glamourous building. It was not a store but...

"Surprise!" Ashina whooted.

.... a nightclub.
