Love at the Door

Chapter 16

Chapter 16

This time, Melina was even closer to Andrew. After sleeping together for several hours following their contract last time, Andrew had been too busy to replicate Melina’s scent. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

His long–standing insomnia had worsened his temper. They were sitting so close to each other, and Melina’s hand was grabbing onto him tightly. Andrew slowly drifted off to sleep.

As laughter played from the television, Andrew unconsciously leaned on Melina and fell asleep in the living room. Melina’s body stiffened. She could feel Andrew’s breath on her ear.

What was he doing? Were they still pretending to be a normal married couple? He didn’t need to do it so seriously….

Upon seeing them, Wallace was stunned. The only ones who knew about Andrew’s insomnia were Andrew himself and Wallace.

Wallace tried everything to treat Andrew’s insomnia, but nothing ever worked. Yet Andrew managed to fall asleep now despite the loud noises from the television and the presence of other people.

Upon recalling seeing Andrew sleeping with Melina, Wallace immediately figured it out. It was all thanks. to Melinal

Wallace smiled at Melina and gestured to her that he was leaving so they could rest. Melina wanted to get up to send him off, but she couldn’t move with Andrew leaning on her.

Wallace immediately shook his head, dismissing Melina’s intention to send him off, and left. He thought that letting Andrew marry Melina was the best decision he had ever made.

Wallace had gone back home. Seeing that Andrew’s eyes were still closed, Melina finally realized that Andrew wasn’t acting. He had actually fallen asleep.

Melina thought about waking him up, but she suddenly recalled how agitated Andrew looked whenever he slept.

Thinking it was rare to see Andrew sleeping so peacefully, Melina decided not to wake him up and just leave him be. She would just treat it as her repaying him for his cooperation today.

Andrew slept soundly. Melina didn’t move a muscle.

When evening came, Andrew finally woke up when the sunset cast a warm glow over them. After waking up, Andrew looked like he was in a bad mood.

Seeing that he had woken up, Melina stood up and put some distance between them. She almost fell because her legs had gone numb, but she still didn’t want to sit beside Andrew.

Melina thought that since they weren’t going to be a real married couple, they needed to keep their distance from each other. Now that the day was ending, they could finally drop the act. Melina needed to find a new place to live and move out.

Before returning to her room, Melina asked, “By the way, Andrew, what’s your phone number?”

Andrew glared at Melina and said coldly, “Don’t get any ideas.”

Melina was stunned for a moment before she quickly understood what Andrew meant. Was he worried that she would cling to him?

Melina finally figured everything out. Wallace and Andrew were two different people. Since she was

moving out, she didn’t need to tolerate Andrew or hide her originally violent anymore.

She puffed up her cheeks and glared at Andrew. “Don’t misunderstand, mister. I’m not interested in you a all. You’re not my type.”

Andrew was rendered speechless.
