Chapter 17 Blacklist
Laurence frowned and asked, "You must have made a mistake. We are the Collins family. Why aren't
we allowed?"
The bodyguard kept a cold face, "I haven't made any mistake. The people on the blacklist are all not
allowed."
Michael was angry, "Bastard! I'm Michael Collins. How dare you stop us here?"
The bodyguard snorted, "The Collins family? I've never heard of it. If you dare to make trouble here, I'll
kick you out!"
"Alfred, what's going on? Is this a fake invitation?"
Michael stared at Alfred and asked unhappily.
Alfred hurriedly explained, "Grandpa, please wait here. Loretta and I will go in first and ask what is
going on."
Michael had to listen to him. He nodded with a sullen face.
Then, Alfred and Loretta stepped forward.
"Please show me your invitation."
The bodyguard stopped Alfred.
Alfred took a deep breath and showed his card.
The bodyguard checked the card and said the same words, "Sorry, you are on the blacklist, too. You
are not allowed in."
"What? What bullshit did you say? I'm the son of the Harker family. Why am I on the blacklist?"
Alfred trembled in anger. As the son of the Harker family, he had never suffered such humiliation.
Besides, the Harker family would become one of the first-class families soon.
Now so many people saw that he was stopped at the gate.
He would shame the family today!
"I said if you dare to make trouble here, I'll kick you guys out."
After the bodyguard said this, several guards stared at them fiercely.
Alfred didn't dare to make trouble here as he saw this.
"I'll remember this. I'll call my father here. You guys will know how wrong you are!"
They couldn't go in, so they had to stand aside.
Alfred was going to call his father. When his father came here, he would make those bodyguards
punished.
At this time, another car drove over.
The leader of the Jefferson family, Henry Jefferson, got out of the car first.
Following him were Felix Jefferson and Patrick Jefferson.
However, both Felix and Patrick walked with sticks, which made them look so funny.
They kept dark faces. Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
They went to the East Coast Hospital today, but Chris asked those soldiers to break their legs.
That said, they didn't want to miss Mr. Mester's banquet. Though they couldn't walk, they still came
here with sticks.
"Grandpa, my legs were broken by that bastard. You must make him pay for this!"
Patrick shouted angrily.
"Dad, he's so arrogant. He's just a tramp, but he even wanted us to apologize to Esther on our knees.
How ridiculous!" Felix also urged his father to take revenge for him.
Henry snorted coldly, "Don't worry. After the banquet, I'll ask our men to kill that loser. He'll know the
consequence of offending the Jefferson family."
Henry's words relieved Felix and Patrick. They nodded and followed Henry forward.
"Wait. Please show me your invitation."
When Henry got to the gate, the bodyguard stopped them.
Patrick shouted at the guard, "This is the Jefferson family. Why do you stop us?"
The guard didn't move, "You have to show me the invitation, no matter who you are."
Henry stopped Patrick, "Alright. Show him the card."
The Jefferson family had a high status in East Coast, but they still didn't dare to offend Mr. Mester.
Patrick snorted and showed the invitation reluctantly.
The bodyguard checked the invitation. Then he threw it to the ground.
"Bastard! What are you doing?"
Patrick roared in anger as he saw this.
The guard put on a cold face and said, "Sorry. You are on the blacklist, so you are not allowed in!"
"What? Asshole! What did you say? How dare you humiliate the Jefferson family? Fuck away!"
Patrick was irritated. He stepped forward with the stick and wanted to slap the guard.
The guard didn't show any mercy. He pushed Patrick back.
Patrick screamed in pain. He fell to the ground.
Henry asked with a dark face, "I'm the leader of the Jefferson family. You must have misunderstood
something."
The guard said coldly, "There is no misunderstanding. Nobody on the blacklist can attend the banquet."
Henry glared at the guard, but the guard didn't even look at him.
"Dad, what should we do?" Felix asked.
"Wait!" Henry said through his gritted teeth, "I'll ask Mr. Mester why we can't go in when he comes."
The Jeffersons had to wait here.
The Collins was happy to see this. Even the Jefferson family had to wait with them now.
It seemed that they were not the only family on the blacklist.
The Jefferson family was also on the blacklist.
Thinking of this, the Collins felt much better.
It was a strange scene at the gate.
People came and went in with happy faces.
But there were two groups of people standing at the gate with dark faces.
Everyone who came to attend the banquet would look at them curiously.
They were both smart people. They just looked at the Jeffersons and the Collins, but nobody talked to
them.
Obviously, Mr. Mester disliked the two families, so he didn't allow them in.
The Jeffersons and the Collins lowered their heads.
They thought they were like clowns. So many people watched them and mocked them!
