Chapter 861 Did He Suffer Too?
Chloe gazed at the drizzle outside the window. She was in a bad mood, and she became a little tense. Joseph was not dead but his safety was uncertain. Is that jerk truly that unlucky?
"Chice, you look sick and crestfallen.” Frieda looked at Chice sadly. "I know. I’m going to the hospital." Chloe walked out determinedly.
She wanted to see a doctor as there was something wrong with. She must be sick. The private hospital she went to the other day must be unreliable because they did not find anything wrong with her.
Her mind was inexplicably occupied by Joseph, and she had to divert her attention. "Let me go with you.” Frieda put the document down and followed Chloe. If her son was around, he would surely want her to take good care of Chloe. Chloe glanced at Frieda but did not stop her. She did need someone with her in case she fainted again
Chloe and Frieda arrived at the hospital. Chloe registered at the emergency room and got a brain scan. When the doctor saw the results, he shook his head.
"You're fine. Just go to bed early and don't stay up late. And take only light meals.”
Chloe held her head in confusion. "I'm fine? But I've been having severe headaches recently."
"Maybe you should visit the psychiatry department then," the doctor suggested.
Many people suffering from depression or uncontrollable rage would have headaches. Every person had different signs. Chloe gaped in shock. "You think there's something wrong with my mind too?"
"You've visited the psych department of another hospital?" The doctor stopped flipping through the medical case and became serious. "Then it's highly likely that you're suffering from a psychological illness. I'll page Psych and see if they can squeeze you in.”
Chloe felt like she had received a fatal blow. She shot to her feet. "No! There's nothing wrong with my brain!” Before the doctor could speak, Chloe turned and left.
She was fine. She had a meeting with her employees this morning and replied to all her work emails. How could she be a nutcase? For a moment, she could not accept it.
As she hurried down the stairs, she was not paying attention to her footing and tumbled down the steps. Her clothes became muddy and wet. clinging to her body. She looked miserable.

"Is there any news about him?"
Frieda took her phone out, but she had no new messages.
"No."
Chloe kept her head low and whispered, "Is he dead?"
"I believe my son won't die so easily.” Frieda sounded very calm whilst standing in the rain. "He has to avenge me."
Chloe closed her eyes. She too wished he was alive. At least. he should not die yet. He could only die after witnessing her lead a happy life.
"Ms. Chloe? You're caked in mud that I almost didn't recognize you,” an elegant voice said, full of ridicule.
