Hot Night With CEO

Only You

“What’s wrong, Honey?” Darian asked as he gently caressed Fahira’s cheek. As usual, Darian would pick up Fahira to go to the office together.

“It’s nothing, I’m just nervous about the event tonight!” Fahira replied, holding Darian’s hand that was still touching her cheek.

“Don’t worry! Everything will be fine.” Darian held Fahira’s hand and kissed it. The car glided from Fahira’s house onto the main road. During the journey, Fahira remained mostly silent, as she had been anxious since last night. In truth, Fahira had felt uncomfortable ever since Darian personally proposed to her. The relationship between her and the boss was now known by their co-workers. While the colleagues in her division had no issues with it, the reaction was different among other colleagues. Fahira had felt their cynical and contemptuous gazes since two days ago when Darian openly showed his feelings and attention in public.

This morning was even worse. Darian opened the car door for Fahira during the rush hour when the employees were arriving for work. The passing employees stopped in their tracks just to see who the lucky woman was coming with their big boss.

“Come on!” Darian extended his hand to Fahira, who was still hesitating in her seat.

“Honey!” Darian called softly. Fahira looked at him with pleading eyes and shook her head. She was not prepared for the stares of everyone now directed at them. The security guard who was in charge of parking Darian’s car stood waiting beside him.

“Or should I carry you?” Darian leaned forward, whispering.

“No, I don’t want that!” Fahira quickly refused and accepted Darian’s hand to step out of the car.

“That’s my sweetie!” Darian chuckled and held Fahira’s hand as they headed to a private elevator, ignoring the stares of all the employees. Fahira could only lower her head in embarrassment. But while they were still waiting for the elevator to open, Darian felt annoyed and stared back at the employees who were also waiting for the lift. Instantly, they all scrambled to get into the elevator, their heads lowered. They could only pray that their boss didn’t recognize their faces and fire them on the spot.

“Darian, please don’t do that! I’m embarrassed, and now everyone’s acting weird when they meet me,” Fahira protested when they were already inside the elevator.

“Tell me who’s making you uncomfortable. If they know you’re my future wife, they should respect you as they respect me!” Darian said, annoyed, while looking at his girlfriend’s pale face.

Darian took a deep breath and exhaled sharply. “Listen, Fahira, no matter what happens, I promise to marry you!” Darian said firmly, then placed his hand on Fahira’s slim waist. “I love you, Fahira!” His brown eyes looked into Fahira’s black eyes with full confidence. Darian understood what was troubling his beloved.

“I believe you!” Fahira replied shortly, then pulled away from Darian’s touch, breaking their eye contact.

Darian and Fahira walked side by side. Darian’s steps momentarily stopped as he leaned on Fahira’s desk, looking at his lover as she put her bag down and took off her blazer before sitting in her chair. Darian seemed like he didn’t want to be away from her, even for a second. Fahira’s smile widened as she returned Darian’s gaze, and her fingers pointed to her wristwatch.

The four of Fahira’s colleagues dared to glance briefly, then pretended to be busy with their computers. Darian chuckled and entered his office, immediately turning on his laptop. He sat in silence for a while, staring blankly at the flat screen displaying the company’s revenue and profit graphs for the last three months. To be honest, Darian also felt anxious about the dinner with his mother tonight.

“Focus, focus!” Darian murmured and started using the mouse. He immersed himself in his work when a knock on the door was heard. Fahira came in with a cup of her signature coffee blend, as usual.

“Thank you, Fahira!” Darian said after she placed the cup of coffee on his desk, not taking his eyes off the thin screen in front of him. Fahira left and returned to her desk.

“Be careful, alright!” Fahira felt irritated inside because she felt ignored by Darian.

In his room, Darian chuckled as he saw Fahira’s annoyed expression through the gap in his office curtains. “I’m sorry, Sayang, even if I glance at your beautiful face for just a moment, my concentration that I’ve been building up all this time will immediately break!” Darian grumbled as he reached for his phone, which was lying beside his laptop, and typed a few lines.

After writing the magical message, Darian focused on his work again. Meanwhile, Fahira looked at her phone, seeing the name displayed on the screen. Fahira tried not to care and checked Darian’s schedule for Monday. “Should I open it?” Fahira’s internal debate began when her phone started blinking again.

“Are you sure, Fahira? Don’t you want to read a message from Optimus Prime? You might regret it later.”

“Stupid!” Fahira turned the screen of her phone away and opened the file she had to work on that day. However, she couldn’t deny that she was curious about the content of Darian’s message. The North Pole guy was no longer as cold as before. Now, he was always warm and sweet. Too sweet, in fact.

Eventually, Fahira picked up her phone, swiped her lock screen pattern, and opened Darian’s message.

Optimus Prime

“You’re my one and only love.”

Fahira put her phone back down and looked at Darian’s room with a radiant smile. With just a simple romantic message, Darian had managed to make Fahira’s heart bloom with happiness.

“When will we get treated?” David interjected in the midst of their busy work. David was tired of sitting in front of his computer when he used to go out of the office with Darian.

“Ah, good idea!” Ray chimed in, stretching his stiff muscles. “It’s almost lunchtime, anyway,” he continued, looking at Fahira, who seemed focused on her work.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Fahira, did you hear what David and Ray said?” Mira finally spoke up.

“Up to you guys, I’m in!” Fahira casually replied, still focused on her task.

“Nice, but… Fahira needs to excuse herself first!” Susi interjected, pointing to Darian’s room. She didn’t want to get into trouble because, as far as she knew, Fahira always had lunch with Darian in his office.

“Easy!” Fahira replied shortly, still focused on her work.

“Cie, now you’re the boss’s guardian!” Mira teased, earning herself a pencil thrown by Fahira.

Lunchtime finally arrived. Fahira tidied up her desk a little before asking Darian for permission to go with her colleagues.

In his office, Darian was on a phone call with his mother. Leaning against the desk, he gazed out of the window as the scorching sun moved to its noon position. Unaware of Fahira’s presence, he continued his serious conversation with Yasmin.

“…..”

“Yes, Mom, don’t worry, Darian will keep his promise!”

“……”

“Darian is sure you’ll like her. She’s a good and smart girl, Mom!”

“……”

“See you, my first love!”

After ending the call, Darian turned around and was surprised by Fahira’s presence. He hadn’t realized when his girlfriend had entered.

“Honey!” Darian put his phone on the table and approached Fahira. He embraced her tightly to soothe his longing. Darian never expected that falling in love could make him feel so crazy. Even though he and Fahira hadn’t been apart today, Darian felt like he missed her as if they hadn’t seen each other for a long time.

“I’ll have lunch with my friends, okay? What do you want to eat so I can get it for you?” Fahira asked playfully. “Rendang, maybe,” Darian replied briefly. Ever since being with Fahira, he also liked everything that she liked.

“Alright.” Fahira tried to untangle herself from the hug, but Darian tightened it even more.

“Promise me you’ll never think of leaving me, because I will never let you go, Fahira!” Darian said, closing his eyes and inhaling the familiar vanilla lace scent that was unique to Fahira. He didn’t know why he felt more anxious after receiving the call from his mother. After tonight, everything would feel different. Tonight would be the decisive moment for their relationship.

“I will never leave unless you ask me to,” Fahira replied, getting lost in the romantic atmosphere. The ringing of her phone in her hand forced them to release their embrace.

“Okay, be careful. Oh, by the way, if you need me, I’ll be in my room!” Darian said, with both hands still resting on Fahira’s shoulders. Fahira smiled, showing her agreement by forming the letter ‘O’ with her fingers.

Darian’s smile remained on his face as he inhaled the lingering scent of Fahira’s body. He then entered his private room located behind the bookshelf. The room was quite spacious with minimalist furniture to complement it. It was his private space for rest and prayer.

As Fahira brought lunch for Darian, she noticed that he wasn’t in his office. Hesitant and worried, Fahira opened the hidden door behind the wardrobe that had slid open. Instantly, Fahira was mesmerized by the all-white and luxurious room. She felt the chill, thinking she was in a refrigerator.

“Really, this guy really likes to be in a cold room like this,” Fahira grumbled as she felt like she was inside a fridge.

“Are you here?” David’s voice sounded from the direction of the bathroom. Darian appeared fresh and sexy with wet hair after taking a shower. He was only wearing pants with a thin undershirt that highlighted his well-built chest.

“Now I really want to be hugged,” Fahira mumbled in her heart before David’s voice brought her back to reality.

“Wanna pray together?” Darian offered, putting on his shirt again. Fahira was still engrossed in cursing herself in her heart.

“I’ve already prayed, Darian!” Fahira explained with a hint of hesitation, then smiled.

“Okay, you can just sit there, I’ll pray first!” Darian replied, then immediately started praying.

Fahira sat on the edge of the bed, scanning the whole room. Her fingers gently stroked the bed, which felt soft and comfortable. Wanting to feel how comfortable Darian’s bed was, Fahira lay down and was lulled by the gentle breeze from the AC. The cold air comforted her until she dozed off, lying on her side at the edge of the bed. However, she was almost awake all night, thinking about the dinner event tonight. Fahira was captivated by the comfort that seemed to embrace her body.

“Honey!” Darian called as he stood up. He smiled when he saw Fahira already asleep. Darian crouched beside Fahira and gazed at her beautiful face. He brushed away the hair that obstructed his view, then moved to the sofa. He opened the lunchbox Fahira brought him and devoured it while admiring her pretty face.

“You’re my everything, Honey!”
