His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 274

She dove into the sea, swimming desperately towards the site of the accident. From a distance, she saw Aaron's head pop up from the water. "Aaron..." she called out, swimming over to him. But when she got closer, she realized his arms were empty. "Where's Brock? Where's my son?"

Her eyes filled with panic as she demanded an answer. Aaron shook his head apologetically. "I went to get him some juice, and the yacht flipped. I couldn't find him. Don't worry, I'll keep looking."

Her son couldn't swim. Falling into the sea meant he would drown. And none of them knew how to dive...

Suddenly, an idea struck her. She frantically swam towards the shore, her body soaked with seawater and rain, weighing her down and sending chills through her. Her lips trembled from the cold. She spotted Casper about to board his yacht and grabbed his arm desperately.

"Casper, please... save my son!"

She knew Casper was a skilled diver. But she also knew it was unlikely he'd help. Yet, she had no one else to turn to. She looked into his cold, indifferent eyes, and slowly knelt down in the rain.

"Please, Casper, save my son. I'm begging you."

She stayed there, drenched and shivering, humbling herself before Casper, who was still holding an umbrella, hoping against hope he'd help.

"That's not how you ask for help." He squatted down, lifting her chin with his hand. "Do you think kneeling and begging will make me risk my life for a stranger?"

"I know, but I have no other choice. Whatever your conditions, I'll agree to them. Please, he's just a child. Please..."

She clung tightly to his pant leg, her eyes red with desperation. For a moment, she almost told him Brock was his child. But she didn't. She bet that Casper would eventually help, even if he made outrageous demands first. "Eliza, I don't want to make any deals right now. Ask Aaron to search the sea again."

Casper didn't want to say more. He knew demanding anything from Eliza was wrong, and not saving Brock was also wrong. She didn't want anything to do with Casper anymore, so why should he be the bad guy?

"Aaron can't dive, and only you can, Casper. Only you can save him. Please, help me..." She shook her head uncontrollably, assuring him of her willingness. "Whatever you ask, I'll agree. I won't blame you for taking advantage of the situation, I promise." This is from NôvelDrama.Org.

Eliza's pitiful and helpless expression moved him. He felt

nothing for Brock, but he did care for Eliza. If he coldly refused now, Brock would likely die. If he jumped into save Brock, there was still no

ng

guarantee of the child's survival.

"If you insist on relying on me, then... come back to me, and I'll save your son." He took a deep breath, ready to be the villain once more. "You can refuse my conditions."

"Okay, I agree." She wiped the tears and rain from her face, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. "As long as you save my son, I'll agree to anything. I'll have no regrets."

"Eliza, when I say 'come back,' I mean sharing meals, sharing a bed, sharing everything with me..."

She knew what he meant. He

wouldn't just take her back without touching her. Whether she became a nanny, a chef, a gardener, or a bed partner none of these roles

mattered compared to her FOR

life.

She knew she was plunging into hell, but she wasn't afraid, as long as her son lived.

"I agree to everything. Can you go save my son now?" Her fingertips stiffly clung to his arm, her eyes trembling with fear and hope.
