Got On His Love Pirate Ship

Chapter 2 My Little Bear God

I didn’t go back to the dormitory; instead, I went back to the single apartment he bought for me.

I held my phone, contemplating whether to call him and, if so, in what capacity.

As a sister or an admirer?

Should I call to ask him why he didn’t tell me about his relationship or why he chose a woman similar to me?

But do I really want to ask? Can’t I see that he likes me? He is.

Just then, the phone screen lit up.

It was Sophia being interviewed. Looking at her face, I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable.

Sophia is a good woman; through this interview alone, I could tell she was gracious, refined, and gentle.

But when she turned around, revealing the small bear plush on her bag, that’s when I truly fell apart.

That bear, once the support and recipient of all my love, was now there.

It was the beginning of Ashburn and me.

When my mom brought me home, I was already four years old.

I was afraid of this unfamiliar home, scared of the empty room. Although my parents were kind to me, I didn’t know what to do.

Ashburn gave me a magic bear plush, telling me that I could share all my secrets with the bear. Whether I was scared or happy, the bear would fulfill all my wishes.

So, one night, I told the bear that I was afraid of the shadows on the balcony of my bedroom. The next day, a small light was installed in my room, shining all night.

Or, I secretly told the bear that I wanted to eat tangyuan (sweet rice dumplings). The next day, the nanny brought me a bowl of tangyuan, sweet and delicious.

For me, that little bear was the only magical bear in the world.

However, it broke for the first time when I told it, “I like Ashburn.”

I forgave it, after all, every god has moments of negligence.

My little bear was no exception.

The phone rang, and my gaze slowly shifted from the small bear on Sophia’s bag to the caller’s name.

“Hello.”

I didn’t speak. Just this one word was enough to make tears well up in my eyes.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

“Melody.”

It was Ashburn.
