Fated is overrated

Chapter 71

Zeke POV **The next morning **

Zane and I head over to breakfast in the main dining hall, to stock up on some food before the training we are about to join. We want to see the rogue get smashed. It's going to be so much fun! Both Zane and I are almost as giddy as little schoolboys. Time to bring her big mouth down a notch.

The main dining hall is where all the members and warriors have breakfast if they wish to. It is jam packed this morning. Zane and I throw out some winks to our favorite booty calls and some we have yet to scratch off our list. All of them are grinning like cheshire cats as all of them want to be our future Queen.

They're all good fun and games, but none of them are Queen material. Except for the beta's daughter, perhaps. As a beta's daughter, she would be the best pick besides a fated mate. She comes from a strong bloodline and has grown up in the midst of etiquette. As a Queen's task revolves around the social, boring aspects, throwing balls and other gatherings and all that boring stuff, etiquette is the most important quality of a Luna and especially a Queen.

We finish breakfast quickly and head out towards the training grounds. We are 20 minutes late, but as we are the princes, nobody can really call us out on it.

They are already running laps, Zane and I won't be bothered with that anyway, we always skip to the good part. As we are looking around we spot the rogue walking her laps in solitary. Our warriors are either looking at her with curiosity or disgust. There seems to be little in between. She already isn't the fastest runner, and they only just got started.

After they have ran for 1 hour, everyone moves to the obstacle course. The course is a straight line of several different types of obstacles, and whoever reaches the finish line first wins and gets bragging rights. The first part consists of a big mud bath everyone has to crawl through to make them nice and slippery for the remainder of the course.

The second part is a long track of around 100 monkey bars about 15 feet off the ground. Which is my favorite part to watch, as a lot of warriors land on their asses considering their hands are slippery from the mud.

I am going to have a lot of fun watching the rogue drop. At the end of it the warriors have to swing themselves onto the next part or, if they don't make it, drop 15 feet. Which for a wolf is actually not that bad and won't hurt you much. Unless you are missing your wolf, of course, I snicker to myself.

The third part, for those who have made it that far, is a climbing rope where you have to climb up to about 50 yards off the ground. After reaching the top, you have to walk a thin beam to get across.

Now, if you fall there even as a wolf, you will have injuries. The rogue would definitely not survive that without a wolf. And although I want to kick her attitude down a notch, I don't want her to die. actually. Although I would never admit that out loud. After the beam, you land on a platform.

There is a long rope leading towards the next platform, and you have to glide the way there. However, there is no equipment or anything, so warriors have to be creative on how to glide there. Many of them in the past have tried using a shirt or pants, but the friction with the rope quickly burns all the way through the fabric, and they drop their asses to the ground.

Using your hands isn't an option as you will get severely burned, but many of them have tried anyway and some still do - thinking they can somehow magically hang on all of a sudden now. The last part is a long swimming course, where it's a common approach to nearly drown one another in a last rush to the finish line. "Let's not join until sparring, so we can watch"

Zane says amusingly, and I immediately agree. I want to see her land on her *ss as well. As they are heading towards the start, I spot one of our warriors speaking to the rogue.

He is pointing at the track whilst talking and seems to be giving her tips. No tip will be good enough to get her across though, this track is pretty brutal as it is designed for royal warriors, the best of the best.

They seem oddly friendly together as they smile at each other and I can't help but feel angry that one of our warriors is being friendly to a rogue. "Remind me later to order that warrior to stay away from her" I tell Zane and he huffs as he follows my line of sight "idi* t".

They are all in position, and she is hovering around the back. Well, at least she knows her place. The starting sign goes off and as soon as it does, all the warriors immediately jump into the mud track and wrestle each other and their way through.

When I glance back to the rogue, I see she has undressed to her sports bra and shorts. Her body is toned as hell, the only soft part on her are her luscious boobs. Even her hips, although curvy, are toned to perfection.

She ties her pants around her head like a bandanna, and she is stuffing her shirt in her mouth.. What the f*ck? I have seen some weird sh*t in training, but this takes the cake.

I hear Zane mumble" what the f*ck" as well, and I know he is watching the same I am. I am unable to peel my eyes away as I am curious to see where this is going.

She takes a sprint and slides into the mud track, before vigorously crawling her way through. If I didn't despise rogues so much, the sight would have been absolutely comical - she looks like a hamster with her shirt stuffed in her mouth. It looks absolutely ridiculous, and I can't for the life of me think why she would do that.noveldrama

As she is slithering her way through the mud track, she is catching up to the rest of the warriors and passing a lot of them before getting to the end of the mud track.
