Chapter 305
Manny kept sneaking glances at Crystal. He saw her pulled out a makeup wipe, doused it with makeup remover, and began to rub it across her face.
Almost instantly, Crystal yelped in pain, covering her eyes.
Quintessa smirked. How amateurish her prank was! Originally, she thought about sticking some needles into Crystal's chair. But then, she thought better of it. After all, their doing to her was amateurish. There was no need to escalate things to the point of killing them. Otherwise, she would have been caught a long time ago.
"My eyes, my eyes." Crystal's cries of agony echoed through the room.
The other actresses surrounded her. "What's wrong, Crystal?"
Crystal, barely able to open her eyes due to the stinging from the pepper spray, cried out, "The makeup remover, it hurts so much, it's burning, there's something wrong with it."
One of the actresses quickly grabbed the bottle to sniff it. "Someone mixed pepper spray in here."
Everyone turned to look at Quintessa simultaneously. In their minds, she was the only one capable of such a deed.
Crystal's cries of pain paused for a moment but then resumed even louder.
"My eyes, will I go blind? My eyes, please, someone help me. Please."
The room filled with her heart-wrenching sobs, evoking sympathy among the others.
The others tried to comfort her, suggesting, "Call 911, and let's try to rinse her eyes with water in the meantime."
Quintessa, with a hint of a smile, gestured for Manny to help her up. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"Pack up, Manny. I will take you for barbecue tonight," she said.
"Sure thing!" Manny replied.
As they were about to leave, Crystal's cries became even louder. "What if can't see anymore? I. haven't been filial to my parents, and I still have dreams to fulfill. What
should I do?"
Crystal's crying was truly pitiful, and someone finally called out to Quintessa.
"Quintessa, wait. Are you just going to leave like this?"
Quintessa stopped and glanced back. The actress who spoke up was visibly shaken, her face red, clearly afraid of Quintessa but determined to stand up for Crystal. Quintessa nodded. This kid had some courage.
Quintessa glanced disdainfully at Crystal. "Why should I stay?"
"Aren't you going to explain yourself about this?"
"How amusing. Why should I explain?"
"Whether it was you or not, it wouldn't hurt to prove your innocence."
Quintessa chuckled. "With so many people here, are you singling me out? If you're that convinced, go ahead and call the cops."
Quintessa's smirk widened. "If it
wasn't me, don't need to explain.
The innocent
The innocent will be cleared on
their
own. If it was me, then I have even less reason to explain. I'd be glad
she's suffering. With her like this, I feel great. Who would bother with her?"
With that taunting remark, Quintessa walked away with Manny.
It was just a small lesson for Crystal. Hopefully, she'd learn to behave from now on.
As they stepped out of the set,
Manny's eyes gleamed. "Hey, I heard
about this new barbecue place They're super delicious, especially their grilled seafood, it's amazing."
"Alright, let's go there."
As they were talking, a Ferrari suddenly sped out, stopping mere inches from them, almost hitting them.
