Chapter 7
Unice’s PoV
I walked three hours later; my bag was also heavy, so it took me a while to walk. I was already in front of Ace’s mansion, and I checked to see if there was a CCTV Camera, which there was! Is he looking at me now?
I walked over to the opposite door and held the doorknob. When it opened, I was surprised, Ace was dressed in a black fitted jacket and a black mask, and he approached me.
I was surprised because Ace was also holding a woodsman pal, so I slowly backed away. He stood up from where he was sitting and just stared at me.
“Why did you return? Don’t you want to go? Isn’t that why you ran away?!” Ace’s voice is frightening now, and my hand is trembling. I’m not sure if I should shut up or run away from him.
“Answer me! You wanted to run away, right?!” Ace yelled at me, and I let go of the plastic bag containing can foods.
“So, how did you get to that store? How far have you gotten?” Ace asked, and I couldn’t answer because I was terrified of him right now.
I was looking at the woodsman pal Ace was holding because I wasn’t sure if he would kill me with that when he suddenly pulled me inside, and there I screamed, but he quickly shut the door.
“Even if you yell loudly, no one will hear you!” Ace growled at me, took my bag, and opened it.
Ace took out all my items inside my bag, and then he got the birth pills, which made my heart race, and he looked at me.
“What’s the point of having birth pills? Did you consume it?” Ace inquired to me while holding the birth control pills in front of me, and I nodded.
“Why did you consume this? So you expected something bad to happen to us, so you returned, huh?” Ace said this to me, and I felt him touch my legs, making my hand tremble even more.
“If you don’t respond, I’ll strip you naked right now!” Ace said.
“I drank because the old man in the store told me it’s dangerous to travel alone, and if someone rapes me, I’m protected by birth pills!” I said to Ace, and he took his hand off my legs.
Ace burst out laughing and let go of his woodsman pal. What’s funny there? Is it possible that he has lost his cool with me? Can I move back in? I even attempted to flee again.
“Go back to your room,” Ace said, and he took the woodsman pal with him when he went down to his room.
I stood up and took my bag, putting my belongings and birth pills inside, then exited the house and took the plastic with canned goods when I returned. I went straight to my room, and when I walked in, I was grabbed by my chest because I had been so nervous.
A knock startled me, so I quickly opened the door.
“If you want to go out, come with me now, I’m going somewhere,” Ace said. Where would he go?
“What are your plans? Do you work illegally?” I inquired Ace.
“I’m not that kind of person; I need to see Max,” Ace explained to me, so what would he do?
“Okay, I’ll go with you,” I said, and Ace smiled back.
“Because your hair is short, get dressed and pretend to be a man,” Ace said to me, and I wondered why I would pretend to be a man.
“Why should I dress like a man?” I inquired of Ace.
“There are a lot of men there, and we’re just going to beat a person I got, and I still need money for the two of us to survive,” Ace explained, implying that they kidnapped someone and stole money.
“Is it possible that I’ll be pleased with what you’re going to do? I’m sorry, but I’m not coming,” I informed Ace.
“You have to come because I need to keep an eye on you, so you don’t run away from me again,” Ace told me as he walked away in front of me.
I waited for Ace to return by leaving the door open. I don’t have any men’s clothes yet, so maybe he’ll lend me one. I saw him come back, and he had a small gray jacket that just fit me.
“Wear this and the jogging pants. Do you have jogging pants,” Ace asked if I had that because I sometimes exercise and bring something like that with me.
“I have it! Please give me that jacket! I’ll put it on.” When I took the jacket from Ace, I was surprised when he touched my hair.
“If you tie your hair like this, they won’t be able to tell you’re a woman. Use glasses as well.” Ace said this to me and handed me around glasses. I look like a nerd.
“All right, wait for me,” I said to Ace as I shut the door behind me.
I began to change my clothes, and because the jacket was a little loose on my chest, it was not evident that I had breasts. When I was done wearing rubber shoes, I changed into black and white jogging pants.
I went out, and Ace was ready; the sooner he got ready, the better. He took off his cap and put it on me.
“Much better,” Ace said, and he was already walking away, so I just followed.
Ace went to the side, and I was surprised to see him with a motorcycle; he gave me a helmet, and then he made me sit down first. Ace climbed aboard as well, and he took my hand in his and placed it on his waist.
“I’ll just cling to your shoulder!” I said to Ace because it’s awkward when I cling to his waist.NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
Ace started the engine, and all I could think about was how I hoped it didn’t rain so that the road didn’t slip. Thirty minutes later, we arrived at the location he had directed us to, and I recognized Max.
When I got off and removed my helmet, Max approached us and looked at me.
“Unice? What brings you here?” Max inquired, and I remained silent.
“She is just coming along; where am I going to murder him?” Ace questioned Max.
“Follow me, Unice, don’t make it obvious that you’re a woman, or you’ll be raped,” Ace said. I’m not sure what he meant, but I’ll follow him and be cautious.
We entered, and Ace was correct when he said it was all men; they looked at me and handed Ace a baseball bat.
“Ace, who is that with you? Is he going to be killed, or is he going to be our ally in picking up people like this?” I heard a man crying as the chair in which he was sitting was kicked.
Is he homosexual? Why should he cry? But because of what I was wearing, men were staring at me, so I pretended to be a man.
“Why don’t you tell us where the money is? I’m being sent here, and I don’t want to leave my house because I have something to take care of.” I knew Ace was referring to me when he said that.
“Even if you hurt me, I’m not going to tell you where the money is!” The blindfolded man sighed, and then Ace hit his leg with the baseball bat, causing him to cry out in pain, and I noticed his knee was swelling.
“Just murder me!” The blindfolded man yelled, and I looked down at the table, where there were various knives. I took a small one and hid it in my hand.
I wanted to assist. I’m not sure why I wanted to help, but I was holding a small knife when I threw it, so hopefully, it hit the guy. I tried to throw the knife at the blindfolded man when someone grabbed my hand, and it was a man with blonde hair.
“What exactly are you doing? Only Ace has the authority to execute our hostage!” The blonde man said this as he snatched the knife from my grasp, hurting my hand.
“I’m sorry,” I said softly, my heart racing.
I bent down to see who had approached me, and it was two men.
“Why does your body appear to be so small? Do you consider yourself a man?” The man asked me, and when I raised my head, I surprised him by staring at him
I was about to run when he stopped me, so my cap fell off. My glasses fell, and when I got to the front, I saw that Ace had hit the man who had pulled me earlier, and there was blood on his body.
“Fucking asshole, clean this shit,” Ace said, turning to help me stand up.
“It’s a mistake to bring you here. Wait for me and hold this,” Ace said and handed me the baseball bat he was holding.
