Chapter 39
"When... how... how did that happen?"
Damien didn't expect Allison to be so stunned too. Since she knew about Claire's crush on him, and hid it, should she be so stunned? Did she have the right? Isn't Claire falling for him an unattainable thing?!
Damien looked around to catch the reactions of all the girls. The shock in their faces was almost equivalent to how they felt when the first ballistic missile hit the jet. Who knows, probably those words of his were fiercer than the impact of the missile on their mental state.
He stood up. Claire seemed devasted when she heard him. Damien was enjoying the look on her face. He knew that she wouldn't bring herself to admitting it. And that was exactly what he needed.

Allison stood up too. The girls wanted to hear more.
"According to the rule of the game, a question should be answered without further details. That was exactly what I did."
He paused.
"Enjoy the game."
He turned and left.
"Where do you think you're going! You fucking bitch! Come back here and answer the questions!!"
Claire finally found her voice, but Damien pretended not to hear. He kept on walking towards the gate of the compound.
FOLLOW ME. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FOLLOW ME.
That was his plan. To have a time with her alone.
"You crazy dork, stop there!!!"
Claire followed. Lisa called at her,
"Should I come with you?"
"I don't need a handbag today."
She snapped and walked away.
"Isn't that rude of her?"
"Does she ever think before speaking?"
While some were worried about how rude Claire was, the rest argued,
"I can't believe it."
"I know right. Claire of all people? Damien kissed her?"
"How did it happen? I'm dying to know."
"I can't wait to hear the gist."
"Poor Claire."
Everyone of them sneered at Lisa who was the last person to speak. Tendzel nodded at Laurette, "She really is a handbag."
In the woods, Damien kept walking on as Claire hurried to catch up with him. She cussed tirelessly,
"You douchebag! Wait for me. Stop walking away. Don't you feel a need to take responsibility for what you just said?!"
"You freaking bastard, will you stop walking already?!"
She bumped into a log in the middle of the path and fell. Damien was tempted to stop but he didn't. It seemed like he had somewhere in mind. "I'll kill you if I catch up with you!"
She wouldn't give up on her rage. When Damien got to a place surrounded by many tall and enormous trees, he stopped walking.
She walked past two of the trees and advanced towards him. She halted at his front. She raised her hand to slap him, but he grabbed the hand. She snatched her hand from his grip.
"Take your filthy hand off me."
She took two steps back.
"Tell me what you said back there was just trolling. Tell me that you didn't mean it. Tell me that it didn't happen."
Damien wasn't surprised. He knew before now that she would be in a great denial. That was typical of her. He nodded his head.
"Oh, thank God. I thought as much also, how could I kiss such a filthy rag like you. You wouldn't dare, I'm sure you know your place. It all ends after we leave this cursed island. Your shady prowess all ends here. Let's see how you can survive outside this shithole, in the real world."
Damien felt like showing off his treasure reserve to her. He wanted her to know that as soon as he leaves the island, he had some crazy plans that would do nothing but tie all the girls to him! They would even feel more helplessly in the real world than they are on this island.
But he didn't bother saying any of those to her. She wasn't worthy of hearing it yet. After all, he wasn't ready to tell, he would show it to them. Not only to her, but the rest of the girls.
"I can't even remain standing here with a piece of trash like you."
Claire turned to leave. Damien grabbed her wrist without warning and pulled her to himself. He pressed his lips on hers, and claimed hers. She struggled to pull away, but he grabbed her head, showing her how powerful and burly he had become. He was no longer the timid and fragile helpboy anymore. He was now a terror. And she had just made him decide to do what he didn't want to.
He kept kissing her, thrusting his tongue deep into her mouth. One hand pressing her nape, the other gripping her waist. Warmth were slowly developing in her mouth, her lips getting hot.
Then he let go abruptly. She was too stunned to speak. If you asked Damien, he wouldn't be able to explain what her feelings were at that moment. "If I say the words. If I say that I kissed you long ago when you never imagined, you wouldn't had believed. So, I decided to create a similar scene." He paused, scoffing,
"Lucky you, you'll be the first girl I'll be throwing myself at. And to think of it, the last time was short and crisp. You were really lucky to suck my tongue today."
Claire dropped on her knees suddenly and began to puke. At least she was trying to puke, digging two of her fingers into her throat to aid the process. She was violently rubbing the back of her palms on her lips. If you give her a chance to turn back the hand of time, she would gladly do it.
"Gross!"
Damien walked away from her, heading back to the castle.
"Wait there, you ahaiakahdhsjwh..."
"I said stop there!!"
DON'T HURT YOUR THROAT GIRL.
"One of you should stop him. I'll kill him today."
Damien walked past the rest of the girls who were wondering what else happened. Claire ran to the bonefire and picked a kindled stick.
"Stop there you asshat!!! I'll roast those pathetic lips!!!"
Damien turned at the door of the castle and looked back at her. He said in his mind,
I'LL MAKE YOU FALL FOR ME. YOU'LL BE THE MOST PATHETIC AMONGST THEM ALL. YOU'LL BEG DESPERATELY TO HAVE ME! I'LL SEE TO THAT!
He disappeared into the castle and zoomed to his room like a wind; a skill he had recently purchased!
"Where's that dork! Where's he!"
Claire barged into the castle, searching desperately for him.
"Come out right now, you insolent Chihuahua!!"
She dropped on her butts and began to cry.
