CEO’s Surrender With You I Can Never Win Chapter 29
Calvin knew where to stop. He got up from the sofa. “It occurred to me that I still have work to do in the afternoon. See you later.”
Then, Calvin fled quickly.
Night fell, and this was the Turner’s mansion.
The low–key and luxurious black Maybach drove in to the garden slowly.
Finley was enjoying the night scene and the breeze on the roof. She immediately turned around and went downstairs at the sight of Bryan’s car.
Kate went over and took the coat from Bryan. “Welcome home, Mr. Turner. Dinner is ready.”
Bryan put on his slippers and walked into the parlor. He glanced at the dining room and asked, “Where is she?”
Obviously, ‘she‘ meant Finley.
Kate hung the coat on the hanger in the corner and answered, “Mrs. Turner is on the roof. I’ll invite her down for dinner.”
Before Kate went upstairs, light footsteps echoed in the stairs.
Soon, Finley appeared at the stairs.
Kate immediately stopped her. “Mrs. Turner. Mr. Turner is back. Please come down for dinner.”
Nodding, Finley turned to walk to the dining room.
Bryan had sat down in the main seat to wait for Finley.
Finley couldn’t help but think of what she had seen in the Turner Group this afternoon at the sight of Bryan’s back.
Bryan had sat in the office as elegantly and expressionlessly as he did now, and Calvin…
Finley suddenly had goosebumps all over her body.
Finley had wanted to get on well with Bryan. However, it seems difficult now.
Bryan heard the sound of footsteps behind him and intended to have a good talk with Finley about
his illness.
After a long while, the sound of footsteps disappeared, and there came the bang caused by the
door. Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
Bryan turned his head for this abrupt noise, and there was no sight of Finley at all.
The atmosphere in the room became cold, and Bryan was irritated.
Bryan asked with a cold face, “Where is she?”
“Mrs. Turner ran back to her room.” Kate went to the guest room on the first floor and knocked on the door. “Mrs. Turner, Mr. Turner is waiting for you to have dinner.”
“I’m not hungry. He may eat first.”
Finley’s voice faintly penetrated through the thick wooden door. Instantly, Bryan’s face darkened.
Finley hid in her room though she knew that Bryan was waiting for her for dinner. She didn’t want to dine with Bryan, did she?
Bryan looked sullen He took the glass of warm water on the table and drank it in one gulp.
The atmosphere in the dining room was heavy
Kate Tailed to persuade Finley to walk out of her room Noticing that Bryan was furious, Kate went over and suggested in a low voice, “The butler has a spare key Shall I bring it over?”
“No,” Bryan put down the glass and said expressionlessly, “Remove her door directly
Instantly, Kate knew that things were getting out of control.
Bryan seldom did crazy things. Obviously, Finley had irritated him badly.
“Mr. Turner..
“Yes?” Bryan cast a cold glance at Kate, so Kate shuddered with fear.
Five minutes passed.
The weird noise outside the door shocked Finley, who was busy with her work.
Looking back, Finley found that the door of her room was saved off.
Bryan stood in the doorway coldly and arrogantly. Finley raised her head and happened to meet his
deep eyes.
Finley was speechless..
How could Bryan look elegant but always do something childish?
Finley just didn’t want to dine with him, so was it necessary to remove the door?
“You’re sick, aren’t you?” Finley stormed out of the room and stood in front of Bryan. She raised her head and glared at him. “You sawed my door off, which is as terrible as you dig my grave!”
“Are you angry?” Finley couldn’t tell Bryan’s emotion via this question.
“Of course!” Finley glared at Bryan. “Wouldn’t you if you were in my shoes?”
Finley went scarlet red because of anger, and a mysterious light flashed past Bryan’s eyes.
The silence convinced Finley that Bryan wouldn’t admit his fault or apologize. Therefore, Finley ran back into her room and hid below the quilt to calm herself down.
Bryan stared at the figure wriggling under the quilt on the bed, and a light flashed across his eyes.
He ordered a servant to remove the broken door. Then, Bryan strode into the room, lifted the quilt, and picked Finley up.
