CEO’s Surrender With You I Can Never Win Chapter 13

Finley watched on with a cold expression. It wasn’t enough to snatch first place from Tricia. Just like how her half-sister had ruined her reputation in school and caused her to be expelled, she would destroy any chance Tricia had in making a splash in the perfume industry through this competition. Staring straight at Tricia, Finley then said, “Tricia Keith, how daring you are to copy someone else’s perfume formula in the competition.”

Tricia finally found her voice.

“Don’t slander me! This is my recipe. I don’t even know you, so why are you targeting me?”

“Why are you so overwrought if you’re innocent? Slander? Let others be the judge of that. It is easy. enough to prove if what I’m saying is true or not.”

When Finley saw the crowd nod in agreement, she continued, “Many years ago, I got my hands on a bottle of “Sweet Escape” made by a world-famous perfume master, Annie. When Annie was still alive, she published the recipe in a little-known magazine that has since gone out of print. Sweet Escape was never mass-produced because it uses a rare combination of narcissus, tiare, and tuberose. Look up the recipe in the perfumery archive, you’ll find that the recipe Miss Tricia used is exactly the same.”

Someone from the organizing committee checked on it right away and hurriedly whispered the results to the panel of judges.

Meanwhile, Tricia was stunned at the revelation.

Her father had promised her that there won’t be any problems and that the recipe was never published!

How could this happen?

How could this nobody from who knows where suddenly appear and not only steal her prize but also expose her scheme?

Finley saw the guilt and confusion in Tricia’s eyes and sneered. Back then, Dirk had taken advantage of her mother’s innocent naivety. After trapping her in marriage, he had wrung her talented mother dry. Stealing all her recipes and taking all the credit for her creations.

Even when her poor mother was ill, that selfish man still forced her to work, holding Finley’s wellbeing over her head.

Before her mother died, she left all her recipes and creations to her equally talented daughter with the warning that she should not reveal what she had until she had the means to protect herself from those bloodsuckers in the Keith family.

Since they loved to copy, might as well make it official..

Soon, Harry whispered to Bryan, “Sir, Mrs. Turner is telling the truth. Tricia Keith plagiarized Master Annie’s recipe for Sweet Escape.”

Bryan’s cold gaze sent shivers down Tricia’s spine. She cried out, “No! I did not copy!”

Despite the evidence staring her in the face, Tricia vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Bryan did not bother to look at her again and instead announced to everyone, “Tricia Keith is found plagiarizing recipes and her prize in this competition is hereby revoked. She will also be banned for

life from participating in future Fragrance Competitions under Turner Group.”

Tricia swayed in shock and her legs threatened to give way.

“No…” Tricia whispered.

Then she shouted, “No! You can’t do this! No!”

Not only did she lose to some unknown person but she also lost her reputation!

On top of that, she was banned by the very person she admired and thought would be her husband.

It was a devastating blow!

Now it seemed like her goal of becoming Mistress of the Turner family was up in smoke.

Standing in the spotlight on stage, Finley sneered and then looked away. It was only the first step in her plan for revenge.

Bryan looked at the woman shining brightly on stage and felt a twinge in his chest. He turned to leave when the crazy Tricia rushed into his path and knelt.

“Mr. Turner! Please! You can’t ban me! I didn’t copy the recipe! It’s just a coincidence! That woman is framing me!”

Harry immediately stepped in front of Tricia, blocking her view of the man. Bryan indifferently walked around the noisy woman.

Seeing as the man ignored her, she shifted her attention to the woman being interviewed on stage. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“You! This is your fault! Why did you target me?” Then she rushed at Finley and raised her hand to slap the b*tch.

Finley stepped to the side and watched as Tricia tripped and lost her balance, falling to the floor in

an ungainly manner.

Everything was caught on camera.

“Oh dear, Miss Keith. Are you alright?” Finley exclaimed and bent to help her up.

As she did, she whispered, “Long time no see, Sister.”
