CEO’s Paid Bride

Chapter Three

Diego’s POV.

The next morning, I stood on my balcony as I scrutinized the massive yard. The morning breeze did wonders on my very soft skin.

Well I am on Vacation and I don’t need to work or stress.

Just then my eyes met with my car. Gosh! It looked a mess, that lady will most definitely pay dearly for doing this to my car. I mean we didn’t splash the water on her purposely.

I pounded on what to do to her and what to do to my granny, before taking my phone to my ear.

“Get me that lady”I ordered.

She’s fuçking going to hate her life once I am done with her.

She’ll pay me back..

I am still borderd about my grandma. I mean the woman wants me to get married but am in no way ready for a relationship talk more of a marriage.

Just then this car pulled over in the compound and a man with a very fat tummy came out of it..

Why do I have a feeling this means danger

I watched the guards take the man into the mansion.

Could this man be the lawyer? Granny was only pulling my legs right?

I quickly put on my shirt and walked out of my room heading to the main room.

There Grandma was eating some biscuits, Yasmin was seated beside her but she was engaged in her phone.

“Mr Noel. Come have breakfast.” She smiled at him.

“Oh no. Madam. I have other things to do so I would like us to go into business now” she nodded his head.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

I watched them exchange pleasantries, smiles and laughter before she turned to me. She knew I was watching. I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat then gave her this questioning look which she returned with a smirk. Grandma ma! This old woman, she meant what she said over dinner.

“You see Me Noel. I have decided to give all my properties to the government. I want to help the poor, I’ll be dying soon and there’ll be no one to succeed me”she rolled her words out so dramatically.

“Madam, what are you saying? You have Yasmin and Diego to succeed you” The lawyer said and Yasmin gave a sigh.

“Nah ah. I really don’t need such in my life. Just count me out” she said getting up from the sofa.

“Then Diego here can take it on”.

“No. Diego isn’ worthy of such responsibility, besides he isn’t of my descendant.” She said, making my jaw drop.

“What are you saying granny am your grandson?” I said walking to her.

“You’re not. You can’t be my grandchild” she spat out.

This is wickedness, what did I do to this woman? So I’ll watch her give my property to the government.

“Madam. If this is what you want then I’ll go to court and prepare the papers. I’ll also inform the government committee once they give their approval I’ll send the documents to you for your signatures then you’ll hand it offer to the government officials”‘ he said.

“That would be wonderful. But when do I expect it?”

“In the next three days”

“That’s great. Thanks for your help Mr Noel, I’ll see you in the next three days” She said

Once the man was out of the house I turned to her. with anger boiling in me. ” Granny, what is all this?”

“Never raise your voice at me Diego” she yelled.

“But Granny, you’re giving my things out. I own all of this”

“Like I said Mr, you’re not worthy of the responsibility. By responsibility I mean you don’t have a family”

“Granny please stop this”

“I’ll stop in three days, that’s if you can get married in three days.”

“So you mean if I get married in three days you’ll give back my inheritance?” I questioned.

“No. I’ll hold in for a while the moment your. wife becomes pregnant I’ll sign it over to you”

“Pregnant! Granny no.” I almost went on my knees.

“This won’t work on me son” she sighed before walking out on me.

Granny has always been hot headed and strict.

She has a way of getting whatever she wants.

I sat on the cold floor as I began to ponder on my life.

If I lose the inheritance it means I’ll become a nobody.

I own a few businesses but those businesses won’t make me super rich like my inheritance would.

“Oh Diego. I forgot to tell you this. I also froze all your accounts” she said.

“Granny no. No! Please no”

I don’t know if this woman is really my grandma, she acts like she picked me from the street.

God how did I get here.

hours later

Brianna’s POV.

The restaurant was filled up as always, I served the people on the huge table and went back to get other food left to serve.

“Brianna. Someone is here for you” the manager said, walking into the kitchen area.

“Okay. I’ll be there sir. I’ll just serve the last table”.

“No, let it be. Go to the car outside someone is waiting for you”

Dropping the tray of food I walked to the car section to see a very flashy car.

Woah! Who the hell wants to see me.

I got to the car and the tinted glass whined revealing a very familiar man.

I scratched my head trying to remember where I had seen him but my brain was numb.

“Get in the car!” He ordered.

“Why?”

“Just get in the car missy. We have business to discuss”

“What business is that?” I asked again.

Of course I am curious, who does business this way?

Like I should just get myself into the car.

“Its worth millions dear” he smiled at me.

“Just get in. I just want to talk”.

I gulped hard, then opened the door and got in.

“The moment I got in the man locked the door, ignited the car and zoomed off

“Where are we going too sir?”

Oh my, I’m in big soup. This man wants to kill me.

“God, I did nothing wrong. I’m you girl right? Come save me saviour” I cried.

Why did I get into this car? Have I become so in need of money?

Very soon we got to a very nice compound. A bungalow was built in the very pretty compound.

“Get down boss wants to see you”

Just then I recalled the man’s face. He was the man that kept staring at me in the restaurant the other day.

We walked into the empty bungalow to meet a man who was sitting with his back against us.

“So you’re here?” His thick harsh and manipulative voice came.
