Chapter 64
Not the right one
Kenzo scoffed, he looked away and laughed, then looked back at Barbra again.
“She’s pregnant, what does that get to do with me?” He asked, staring darkly at her in the eye. Barbra huffed.
“It’s got everything to do with you. You’ve got to stop her from getting rid of the baby!”
“Why should I?”
“Because it’s your child!”
“How can you be so sure she didn’t sleep with any other man. She had been throwing herself at men in clubs and bars.”
“Three weeks!”
“Three weeks ago, she was here. You had her right beside you, she knew no one else or saw anyone’s face except you. And you’ve got the guts to say that she’s sleeping around.”
Three weeks ago, she was right, Elina was here then. In his bedroom.
He clutched his fist by his side.
“Elina met no one, and you know that. Since you had Sambas stalking us since all those times.”
“You knew.”
“I did, but Elina doesn’t. He told didn’t he, where we went.”
Kenzo shut his lips and didn’t say anything else. But paced in front of the car. Looking dangerously handsome in his black suit. He was perfect. And if everything Elina told her about him was true, that’s means, he wasn’t the Kenzo he once was and he deserves a second chance. And she was ready to forgive him for the murder of her sister.
“Are you just gonna do nothing and let her do as she wishes, I thought you’ve changed, I thought there wasn’t that dark heart of yours anymore.”
“I don’t care, Elina, what she does, What’s she gonna do, it’s her life and I don’t give a damn about it now get the fuck out of here, I’ve got a wedding to attend to. You should be lucky, I spare your useless life, I never sent anyone stalking her, I didn’t care that much. She could abort the baby, keep the baby, I don’t fucking care!”
“I made a terrible mistake coming here, I was so stupid thinking, you would.. ugh! You might have as well wanna Know who is gonna help her with it, Lucas, you know he won’t hesitate to get her down on his injections.”
His eyes grew darker and he gnashes his teeth. Burning deeply with fury, Lucas, why had it had to be him and not anyone else.
Did she go back to pick up the card he threw off? Was that how she was able to go to him because he was a doctor, how could she do that and he’s gonna get rid of his baby, he’s gonna touch her, he was gonna see her naked.
No!
She gritted her teeth.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.
“Get out of here! Now!”
“If anything happens to her, I’ll never forgive you!”
“Get out! Or I’ll ask Aziel to walk you out.”
“You won’t let him do this to your sister.”
“It’s her choice,” Aziel replied without looking at her. Devoid of emotions, he was hiding them within himself, he didn’t want Kenzo to know he cares deeply for his sister, he didn’t know she was pregnant and now she was gonna get rid of it. How her life had taken a turn in just a few weeks, He wanted her to be free, happy, and safe, that was the life she wanted for her. With his eyes on the fixed car, she opened it for Kenzo and he got in.
Barbra sniffed and run out them through the small gate, running as fast as her legs could go, tears clouds her eyes as she ran.
This is was it, it’s all over!
Kenzo that bastard!
She will never forgive him for this.
Kenzo sighed, leaning on the car seat. He loosen his tie, it felt like he was getting suffocated in there. Aziel took the driver’s seat.
“We should get going.”
Aziel only nods. And ignite the car and began driving.
Elina, she was pregnant for him and she was gonna get rid of it without telling him she was pregnant. He grunts tightened his hands beside him.
Aziel drove out.
“Where are we going?”
“Where else, to the wedding.”
Aziel nods once more. Heading into the highway.
The ride was quiet no one said a word halfway through the ride. Each covered in their thoughts.
“Stop the car!” He ordered. The car screeched to a halt. He opened the car door without waiting for Aziel to do it and stepped out of it.
“Go over to the wedding, I’ll meet with Elina.”
Aziel blinked.
“I could go, the wedding is…”
“Are you questioning my orders?”
“Not at all.” He couldn’t deny that he was relieved. He was gonna go see her. He was scared he wasn’t gonna go, but he’s going after all.
Another car parked behind his. And sambas came out. He opened the door for Kenzo to get it.
“Sambas will take me there and you go over to the wedding.” Aziel bowed, as he ambled away from there.
Rising, he smiled.
“Where is she?”
“Sir.. you can’t. I can’t. You…” He pushes her aside, as she tried to hinder him from going into the office, but his gaze was frightening, so her steps were a few steps backward away from him. He flung the door of Lucas opened, he was seated on the easy chair. Toying with his pen, a sly smile appeared on his cheeks when he saw Kenzo barged in.
“Where is she?” He repeated that was the first question he asked.
“Have a seat. You can go!” He waves her off.
“What can I offer you? Today must be a special day. It is special today. The groom is here, shouldn’t you be with your bride, taking vows.”
“Don’t play games with me, Lucas.”
“What did you do to her?”
“Calm down will you. Firstly, nothing happened, she came here of her own free will and I did my job. As you can see she’s gone.”
“What do you mean she’s gone.”
“She has gone home. If you came here to stop her, you came quite late. And by now she would probably be rolling in pains and the baby. Gone!”
He smirked.
He felt the bile in his throat. Grabbing Lucas by the collar. And lift him off his feet.
“How dare you?” He raged on him.
“I was doing my job.”
“why her?”
“Why don’t you ask me… let me go..” he kicks the air. Struggling for breath.
“.. ask her why she need abortion so badly, why she couldn’t keep the baby. It’s because she doesn’t want the baby to have a monster father like you!”
Kenzo punched him. Hurl him to the wall. His back hit the portrait hung on a wall, he fell with the portrait, destroying it. Kenzo went to him
Again. Lift him by his collar so he could see his face and punched him again. And again. Each punch comes with a force harder than the first.
He grins, amid the pains, showing off his teeth covered in blood.
“Security!” His voice was barely audible.
His grin annoys Kenzo and he continues punching him. At the rate of the beating he was getting, there was no doubt he was gonna kill him there on spot.
Dropping him on the ground, he took the easy chair he was seating up, right above his head he was ready to hit him with it. And he did.
Lucas screamed. In agony, he felt the wooden easy chair come in contact with his body. Splitting!
Blood came out of his mouth.
“Master!” Sambas yelled, seeing the scene, he hurried to his side to stop him from giving him another punch.
His eyes were closing halfway.
“Elina, she did change you. You shouldn’t try to go back to who you once were. Because if you do, then I’ll kill you. Myself..”
Sambas was terrified at the sight of Lucas, he wasn’t looking good at all.
Lucas exhaled.
“Why!”
Kenzo asked.
“Why did you do it. Why!” He sniffed, his eyes were glistening.
“To pay back at me, I didn’t fucking do it, Lucas, I told you.”
“But you hid him. To protect your reputation. You pretended and lie, you acted like, you had no idea where he was, but you did. You watched him die.” He gurgled out blood from his mouth.
“Is that way you wanted to revenge on me and you use her as your bait.”
“When I saw Elina, I liked her. And I had chosen to let go of the past. And I was never gonna hurt her and I never did. I’m sure she would have noticed now, that non of the symptoms I told her about had happened. Because I didn’t fucking kill the baby. Your baby.” Tears rolled off his cheeks.
“And it’s a boy,”
Kenzo felt his knee weaken, he fell beside Lucas whose head was face down and he was trying not to slip into consciousness.
He didn’t do it, the injection he gave her wasn’t to kill the baby. The baby was safe, and he’s still alive.
