Burning Love 9
Side Story of Aiden
Everyone says that my meeting with Elena was fated, that I was meant to cherish her. And they’re right–she saved my life. During a mission, I was badly injured, separated from my team, and nearly died. Elena appeared like an angel, took me to the hospital, and covered all the medical expenses. I couldn’t tell my parents about my injury, so she took care of me until I recovered.
My friends said I was lucky–not only did I survive, but I also ended up with a loving girlfriend. When Elena naturally started talking about marriage, I felt confused. I wasn t sure if my feelings for her were genuine or just the result of external
pressure.
Then Ivy showed up. Unlike Elena, who was independent, Ivy was clingy and childish. But I couldn’t help but enjoy being needed. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
When Elena stopped crying and walked out of our home without looking back, I realized I had crossed a line. I never intended to end our five–year relationship. Luckily, she didn’t mention breaking up either. I planned to sort things out with Ivy first and then find Elena to make things right.
The day I got a distress call from Elena, I thought she was just making an excuse to see me, and that made me happy. But when I remembered how she’d left me hanging for so long, I got upset and said something hurtful. I regretted it immediately. She said she was leaving and wished me happiness. I thought she was just speaking out of anger and had gone to her mother’s house to cool off.
So, I sent her a message saying the dog missed her. But really, I was the one who missed her and hoped she’d come back soon.
I never expected that would be the last thing I ever said to her.
Later, I learned that Ivy, the girl I thought was innocent and sweet, had been the one who started the fire! I finally realized just how wrong I had been. That’s when I decided to avenge Elena and atone for my mistakes with my own life.
Elena, if there’s another life, I hope we can meet again. This time, I promise IH protect you.
The End.
