Throughout the commercial photo and video shoot that day, Rebecca kept thinking about the previous argument between Harvey and Alicia.

‘Was Harvey talking about me or someone else last night? What if he’s starting to believe that Alicia has been manipulating him all along?”

“Becky, your phone,” one of the magazine crews called out. Rebecca glanced at her vibrating phone and was startled to see Harvey’s name on it. She quickly grabbed her phone, her heart pounding, contemplating whether to answer the call.

‘No, just ignore him, Becky!‘ A voice in her head made her confidently press the red button to reject the call. But soon after, her phone vibrated again, signaling a new

message.

-Becky, I’ll be at Urban Backyard Cafe in one hour. Come, we need to talk.

Rebecca felt her whole body tense. She gripped her phone with cold–sweaty hands.

“Hey, are you okay?” Dave asked as he prepared to retouch Rebecca’s makeup. “Yeah, Rebecca nodded nervously. “Great! We’ll be done in thirty minutes. Are you heading straight back to the hotel or

“Um, I haven’t decided yet,” Rebecca replied, unable to resist the urge to meet Harvey. She quickly finished the photo shoot and changed out of her Arnault Saverio dress into jeans and a white t–shirt.

“Where do you want me to take you to?” the cab driver asked, glancing at Rebecca. through the rearview mirror.

Rebecca cleared her throat. “Urban Backyard Cafe,” she replied, her cheeks flushing inexplicably. She decided to follow her instincts, planning to leave before Harvey arrived if she suddenly changed her mind.

“Keep the change, thanks, have a good day!” said Rebecca to the driver as she hopped out of the cab. She stood in front of the cafe, hesitating. Her eyes scanned the surroundings, but Harvey was nowhere to be seen.

“Maybe he’s still on his way,” She muttered.

Hesitantly, she stepped into the cafe and was greeted by a smiling waitress.

“Miss Harper?”

Rebecca frowned, “Me? Yeah, I am Rebecca Harper,” she replied, a bit confused.

“Of course you are! Right this way, Ma’am. M. Specter has already reserved a table for you both,” the waitress said, quickly walking ahead of Rebecca, and leading her to at table with the best view.

“Thanks, um, I’d like to o

“Mr. Specter has already ordered you a Matcha Latte and a Special New York Cheesecake. Would you like to change it to something else?”

Rebecca stared in surprise, “Oh? Really? Alright, Matcha Latte and Cheesecake it is,” she said, blushing. She felt touched that Harvey remembered her favorite drink and dessert.

After the waitress left, Rebecca sat up straight and got tense immediately.

“You still have a chance to run! Don’t even think about going back to a man who dumped you!‘ a voice in her head babbled, making her even more uncertain about meeting Harvey.

‘You lost your baby, and that man didn’t even believe you! Get hotel now!‘
