Chapter 16
THE FACADE:
Elena laughed at that. “You are really funny little sis but to clear your doubt, I don’t fancy our new neighbour neither Damien,” She said and walked out of her sister, going inside.
“Don’t take it the wrong way big sis, I have to be sure,” Eva said before Elena would fully enter the house. She turned to the new neighbor and saw him watching her. “Hi.” Eva waved, surprising her new neighbor who seemed shocked that she would talk to him.
“Hello.” Julian waves back.
“….”
“Go inside now.” Jess’s voice interrupted whatever Eva wanted to say.
Huffing out in annoyance, Eva walked away from her aunt and entered the house.
“Do not look at my two nieces in such a manner or else you won’t know what hit you.” Jess warned him as soon as they were alone.
“I don’t understand you old woman.”
“You fully understand what I am saying so don’t pretend here. I have warned you, stay off my nieces or you will regret ever coming to this town.” Jess gave him her final warning before going inside her house.
“Well hello to you too.” Julian mutters and faces the house once again.
This wasn’t what he and his agents had bargained for. How can he, the only son of Robert, sleep in this lowly old house?
He opened the driver seat door of his bugatti and took out his phone in the seat, with it he dialed the number of the agent who showed him his new house.
It was picked at the third ring. “Hello Mr Julian, have you reached your destination? How did you see the house? Hope it’s up to your taste?” A male voice asked.
“That is why I am calling you, first of all the pictures you sent to me through fax aren’t the same with this very house I am standing in. The house looks new on the pictures but I am seeing a different shit hole you send me to.” Julian angrily replied.
“Oh my gosh, I am so sorry Mr Julian, I made a mistake, the pictures I sent to you were taken 30 years ago and I sent it to you.”
“So how will that solve my problem? You sent me pictures of a house I fell in love with and I came here to see an ugly ancient house instead.” Julian said looking at the building in disdain.
“We are so sorry Sir, please check the house and see if the inside is up to your taste too. I will send a team tomorrow morning to change the look of the house to your taste sir. Don’t be offended.”
“Whatever, just know I won’t be referring anyone of my friends to your stupid company again.” Julian said and ended the call. Making sure his car is locked he walked towards his new house.
Going to the door of his new house, he slot one of the keys given to him and the door opened. Pushing it more wide open, he stepped in and was surprised at the decorations made inside the house. Though it wasn’t to his taste, it looks more homely and beautiful than the outside.
Truly do not judge a book by its cover.
Well time to check the rooms in the house and decide on the one he will choose. He also plans to use all his whole strategy to win his neighbor’s heart. To get to the girls, he must first of all capture the heart of the annoying old woman first.

“Eva, learn how to ignore such guys like your sister did. Believe me handsome guys are players.” Jess said after the girls had finished taking their baths and were at the dining table with her eating their lunch, noodles.
“Aunt, I like him, this one will be different. Elena is too slow unlike me who is fast in shooting her shot on a guy she likes.” Eva said.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Okay, but don’t come crying to me when you realize what i said is true.” Jess said, given up in the coming argument.
She watches them eat their food in silence and once they are done, they say their thanks and she tells Eva to wash their plates.
“So Elena, how was your day in school?” Jess asked.
“Apart from the guys I beat, it was cool.” Elena answered her with a shrugs shoulder.
“This Damien of a guy who your sister mentioned, was he close to you throughout today?” Jess inquired gently. She needs to know if probably this Damien is the Demon she had scented on the girls especially on Elena.
“Yes Aunt. He was in my classes, every single class. He doesn’t give me a breathing space forcing me to be friends with him.” Elena said.
“Hmm, I see.” Jess mused silently.
Eva came out of the kitchen and headed straight to her room to think about the hot new neighbor next door.
Elena remembered her dream she had at that moment and something in her want her to tell her aunt.
“There is a weird dream I had last night aunt.” Elena began.
“What kind of dream?” Jess asked, suddenly interested.
“I saw myself running through a forest and something was chasing after me. Then I stopped when I got a cliff and turned to see a hideous creature.” Elena said then pause.
“Were you able to make out the face creature? I mean can you describe the creature?”
“Yes Aunt, it was a Manticore rare creature, it has a woman’s face, unrecognizable through. The creature called out my name and asked me to come and it was then my sweet Eva woke me up for school.”
Why will she appear to Elena now unless… it’s time.
“Elena dear, when you have such a dream again and the Manticore creature calls on you to come, follow it,” Jess said.
“I don’t understand Aunt, why will I have such a terrible dream again?”
“Just do as I say and do not run away from the creature when it comes for you.”

Demon drove in once Samuel had opened the gate for him. He parked and came down. Walking inside his sitting, his thoughts were filled with Ena the new girl.
There is something fishy about the new girl and he is going to find out everything about her tonight.
He caught the sharp sword heading his way and turned around. Sitting on one of his sofas is the guy Ena had helped in school. There was no cut or wounds on him.
“What are you doing here?” Demon hissed at him.
“Chill a little bit.” Dave said getting up to his feet and went to meet Demon. “I never thought you would come to this low town to dwell and search for your princess.” He added.
“What are you doing here David?” Demon repeated his question.
“Oh, Hades told me to watch over you in case you fail in your job.” Dave answered.
“Meaning?”
“Meaning if you fail I will do the job for you and give you her soul to give to Hades.” Dave replied nonchalantly.
“I don’t need a babysitter. I will find the Princess without anyone’s help.”
“Says the scary Demon who looked lost with the new girls, especially the one with the purple hair. I know you’d recognize me once I became the attention of everyone.”
“Yes I did, but it’s none of my business if you attend the same school with me or not. I want you to stay on your lane David. Don’t let what happened 500 hundred years ago between the both of us to repeat itself again and Hades pleaded on your behalf. Have I made myself clear?” Demon said with clenched teeth.
“Of course Sire but I hope your eyes aren’t on the purple haired girl because I want her to myself that is why I had to hypothesize the school bully’s into bullying me to gain the school attention and probably her which happened.”
“You want to use her like you had used some other girls in the past, after you had your fling with them you killed them, is that what you want to do with Ena?”
“You know me too well Demon, after I am done with her, you can have her if she isn’t dead by then.”
“Get out of my house this minute before I slit your throat, just thank your stars you are Hades messenger if not you would have been dead since under my feet but do not force me.” Demon warned.
David didn’t say a word, once Demon speech has entered into a threatening tone, he is sure to carry it out.
“I am going but no matter what step you want to take, remember why you started killing the Princesses in the first place.” Dave said and vanished.
It was as if he wasn’t there at all.
Demon has work to do.
There is something about Ena with the way she fought with those boys. Her fighting stance looks like that of a well trained princess.
He needs to find out who this Ena and her mask sister is.
That night…
Elena had another dream….
