Chapter 203
Chapter 203
Sofia’s POV
“An order?” I asked slowly as I pushed myself onto my feet. I wasn’t completely naive, I knew perfectly
well what an order meant, I’ve just never placed an order in my entire life because I was never
completely free to do that back at home due to safety reasons. I didn’t think it would be any different
here in Luca’s house, which was why it had never ever crossed my mind.., only to hear that I had an
order waiting for me. I started to make my way towards Matilda instantly, pausing before her.
“There’s an order for me? Are you sure they aren’t at the wrong address? I didn’t make any orders.” I
pointed out after a few seconds.
“I know you didn’t place an order, it looks so much like a gift due to how it was packaged.” Matilda
started to say and I blinked at her confusingly for a second.
She leaned towards me in the next moment and started to speak a few inches away from my ear, even
though we were literally the only ones around here sat the moment.
“I think it’s from the master.” She suggested and I felt my eyes widened a few fractions, just as my
stomach started to tighten up in a nervousness filled eith low swoops of heats and the feeling of little
gymnastics doing a thousand backflips in my stomach at the same freaking time.
“Oh.” I mumbled after a fleeting second, blinking a couple of times. I clasped my hand before to stop
them from starting to tremble as I started to speak.
“Uh, is someone waiting or?”
“Oh yeah, they’re outside by the door, come see them.” Matilda said as she clasped my hand before I
could get a wire out of my mouth and started to drag me down the hallway. I didn’t mind her touching
me or her leading me towards the said order this way because I was really comfortable around Matilda
for one, coupled with the fact that I knew she was just as excited about this said order, or even a little
bit more than I am at the moment, because I was feeling a little unsure as I draw closer to the entrance
of the doorway.
I stared at the doorway to notice Ethan and Ryan standing at the doorway, obstructing the view of the
house from the eyes of the people standing on the other side of their wall like body.
“She’s here already, make way.” Matilda called out instantly and I watched as both guards' heads
turned around to stare down at Matilda and I. I hadn't seen any of the guards throughout the day until
this very moment and I tried to smile at them a little.
“How are you doing?” I asked the both of them, feelimg me cheeks start to heat up when they both kept
staring down at me without saying a thing.
“Uh, pretty good ma’am.” Ryan replied after some more moments and it was as if that had been what
Ethan had been waiting for, because he supplied a reply immediately after Ryan did.
“You have an order ma’am,” Ryan started to speak after a few minutes and I nodded my head once at
him, feeling my cheeks heat up when his eyes ghosted over the side of my throat which was
completely covered by my hair.
“From who? I didn’t make any order.” I said to them almost immediately.
“It’s from the boss.” Ethan supplied after a moment and I felt my mouth slacken in that moment, with
my stomach starting to tighten up almost immediately.
“Oh.” I whispered and lifted my hand up to Pat my cheeks a little on feeling it start to heat up under the
amount of gazes I was currently standing beneath. I tried to look through the tiny space of Ethan’s and
Ryan’s body in the next moment before starting to speak.
“Let me see the stuff.” I said to them and watched as they hesitated and first of all stared at each other
for a second before finally moving away from the hallway, and I felt my mouth drop open as I stare
dumbfoundedly at the said order which Luca had placed for me.
There were a few cartons here and there and one glance at the body of the cartons and wrappings
made me figure out what it was that was in it instantly. I couldn’t help it, I let out a small cry of
excitement as I lifted my hand up and pressed it against my lips to muffle my small cry.
The cartons on the ground were all books, and by the look of things, there were a lot of things at the Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
moment. The scene of when I had told him about my books last night at the restaurant and how I had
told him about how I had wanted to pack them but my father had made me not pack them up. I had no
idea he had been genuinely listening to me when I had been speaking, and even though he had told
me that everything was going to be alright, I had thought he was just saying it for the fun of it, I had no
idea he was going to surprise me with a lot of books, way more than the books I had back at home.
I let out a louder cry when I sighted one of the book cartons and noticed that it was filled to the brim
with one of my favorite author’s books. Once again, I had no idea he had been storing all these up
there in his head.
I could remember when he had been down there between my thighs, and how he had started to ask
me to list a few of my favorite authors. I had stuttered through the replies and had trailed off and lost
track of what I was saying a lot of times, as each drag of his tongue over my heated core had made me
lose complete focus of what it was that I had been about to say next.
I felt myself blushing a little as I returned back to reality, and I gasped a little when one of the delivery
guys held out a really big teddy to me.
“It’s mine?” I gasped out in a low voice as I stared at the teddy bear. It didn’t look like an actual bear per
se, it looked more like a cute huge rabbit. I stretched out my hand and was about to receive it but Ethan
stopped me and proceeded to check it out first to ensure it was free if anything like a tracker, camera
and anything harmful. I grinned widely as I finally accepted the teddy into my arm and lifted it up into
the air. It had a lot of weight and felt really heavy in my arms.
“Thank you.” I said to the two delivery guys and buried my cheeks into the soft fur of the teddy, as I
took a step backwards and stared down at the rest of the stuff which got delivered to me. There was a
lot of other cartons of wines and I bit on my lower lips to stop the small smile that was threatening to
bloom out on my face, indeed, Luca had bought the wines like he had told me to he was going to, and
this whole gesture was making me starting to tear up a little.
I blinked back tears and pressed my cheeks into the soft hairs on the teddy, and then I accepted the
pen handed to me, in order to put down my signature in a tiny spot on a small board.
“Here, let me hear you with these,” Matilda said beside me as she moved past me and crouched down
to scoop one of the cartons of books into her arms. The delivery guys started to turn around with their
carting equipment just as Ryan and Ethan started to take the cartons of wines into the house. And
waited outside and glanced around the whole outside of the house. It’s been long since I came out of
the house in an afternoon like this to feel the sun on my face this way without wanting to go
somewhere. I breathed in deeply and moved forward a little until I was facing the open sky a lot more,
making the sun shine down on my face even more.
I faintly heard them come back from the house to come get the rest of the stuff into the house. After a
few more trips, they were completely done with the whole thing. I breathed out deeply after a moment
and turned my head around a little when I felt someone come to stand behind me, and my eyes locked
with Ryan’s almost immediately. I tongued my bottom lip with my tongue before averting my eyes from
his face in the next second. His face was intense and made me start to feel a certain kind of way.
