Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 144

Chapter 144

Luca’s POV

I picked up the syrup bottle and poured some over the rest of the waffles on her plate, I didn’t miss the

way an expression had come over her face as soon as I had started to pour the syrup over the waffles,

and I had probably ended up pouring way more that was necessary, all because I still wanted to stare

at the brightened up expression on her face for a moment more. She didn’t seem to mind that I had

ended up pouring the amount of syrup that I had poured and so I sat back in my seat after returning the

bottle of syrup where I had picked it up from.

She started to eat once again and after eating three more bites, dark colored syrup was staining the

lower part of her lip, as well as the side of her lips, and I had to force my eyes away from her face as

soon as she swiped her tongue out to lick up those stains, cleaning them up properly and neatly.

My mind quickly went to a bunch of other things which she could clean up nearly with her tongue and I

buried my face into my hand as I resisted the urge to do something really stupid in that particular

moment, seeing as a lot of bad ideas had choose that particular moment to fly over my face.

One of those images that had flew over my mind at that moment, had been to have her between my

thighs, with her kneeling down on the floor, while licking her fingers which had gotten smeared with my

cum after she was done jerking me off in my head, and I felt my dick pulse in my pants in a really

unexpected way.

My, my, my… I was completely fucked, I thought to myself as I took in a deep breath and puffed it out

slowly, in order to try calming myself down, along with the provocative thoughts filling up my head at

that moment, and the feeling of my semi hard dick pressing into the top of my pants.

It seems like I was really down bad, which was really bad for Sofia at this point.

Ah shit, I really needed to get laid.

I thought to myself as i slowly turned my head back around until I was staring at Sofia who was clearing

off her plate at the moment. Her eyelashes were almost fanning her cheeks and her dark and soft hair

was brushing against her cheeks every next second.

“Stop staring at me,” I heard her light voice murmured in a really soft way, and I heard her words

clearly, even though she didn’t stare up at me as she spoked, since she had all her attention focused

on the plate of food before her.

I chuckled a little as I leaned a little towards her side of the table before murmuring out a low ‘huh’?.

She finally glanced up at me and although there was a little bit of color there, my eyes had immediately

gone to her lips which looked really rosy and almost swollen at the moment, in the way I’d leave her

lips after kissing her breathlessly and senseless… only that mine was most definitely going to leave a

little bit of swollenness behind.

“Stop staring at me too much,” She rephrased and I blinked at her confusingly, wondering what it was

that had suddenly come over her to take that intense shyness away from her and leave behind this…?

Because this sure as hell wasn’t the Sofia whom I had met after making my way into the sitting room,

as well as the person whom I had started to share dinner with, some time ago.

I couldn’t help the small grin that pulled at the side of my lips at that moment, and I found myself

leaning more into her side of the table as I murmured in a low voice. “Why?”

“Er, because it's… rude?” She finally replied and as soon as my small grin immediately spread out into

a full grin as soon as her reply had come forth, I watched as her cheeks pinked up instantly. Of course

her reply just had to come forth in a questioning tone, the same one she had started using to converse

with me when I had met her in the sitting room.

I shook my head a little before reaching forward and grasping at her chin, and I used my grip on her

jaw to lead her face sideways until she was staring up at me, right before I started to speak.

“I’d try to not stare anymore, alright?”

“I… um alright, it’s cool?”

I grinned a little as I nodded my head while murmuring. “Yeah, it is cool. Although, no promises.”

And then I loosened my hold on her chin and watched as she turned her head around to stare down at

her almost empty plate which she regarded for about a moment, before she reached out and pushed

on it a little until it wasn’t sitting directly in her front anymore. She stretched her hand out a little and

picked up her still filled up glass of orange juice, and she took a little sip of it immediately.

“Orange juice, huh.” I murmured after about a minute and I watched as she turned her head around to

stare at me, with her glass of juice still clutched between her hands, an unreadable expression in her

eyes.

She nodded her head once before lifting the glass up towards her lips and swallowing down a little bit

of the drink.

“I’m guessing you like apple juice over orange juice?” She finally asked with the side of her head

craned to the side a little and I stared at her for a few more seconds before shaking my head and

starting to reply.

“Actually no, I prefer orange juice to apple juice.” I replied and watched as she placed her glass of juice

on the table before sitting back up and starting to speak.

“Finally, someone who admitted to liking orange juice to apple juice.” She mumbled and I breathed out

a small laugh as I questioned, “What was that?”

“Um, no. It’s nothing, it’s just that, so many people always claim to be more in love with Apple juice

than orange juice, when in reality, it’s the complete opposite.” She started to speak almost immediately

and I tried not to make it obvious that I was almost drowning in her voice as I listened to her speak.

She didn’t always speak fully like this, and I already kind of associated stuttering with her in my head,

but then here she was, speaking without any kind of hitch in her words, and I was almost thrown aback,

because it was almost rare to listen to her speak like this.

“But then, what if they aren’t lying and are genuinely more into apple juice?” I questioned immediately

after she had finished speaking, not because I was suddenly interested in juices, but because I wanted

to listen to her speak this way more and I didn’t want it to end yet, coupled with the fact that I loved how

her face currently had this facial expression on which I had never gotten a chance to see before.

“Uh, well because, the orange juice is always the first to run out supermarkets, but still, people still

always claim to love apple juice way more than orange juice, and it’s obvious they’re all telling a lie.”

It looked like pure determination, like she was speaking her mind and was sure of what she was saying

at this very moment.

“Hm, that’s their own business, don’t you think? All that should matter to you should be that you aren’t Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

obviously lying about your preferences like those unknown people.” I said to her and watched as she

stared absent mindedly at her drink for a few seconds before finally giving a few nods of her drink.

“Do you want a drink?”

I lifted up my gaze from my fingers which I had started to stare at, to focus it on Sofia almost

immediately.

She was offering me her drink.

Why?

I didn’t realize I had said that last word out loud until she had stared up at me shockingly for a few

moments, and then she was back to stuttering in the next moment.

“I meant, uh, because you said you liked orange juice and um, uh… and you obviously didn’t take any

kind of drink with your meal tonight, and so I had uh, I had thought it was a good, uh idea? That it was

a good idea to offer you from it? And uh, ah never mind.” Her cheeks were burning by the time she was

done and I breathed out a gust of endearing laughter as I leaned forward and stretched my hand out.

“I’d have a drink from it, thank you.” I murmured to her when she blinked at me confusingly at first.

“Uh, ah… you don’t have to?”

“I want to. You did offer, didn't you?”

“Yes, I did.” She whispered.

“Then, I’ll have some of it.”

And my finger brushed against hers as she pushed the glass into my palm, and I didn’t miss the tiny

shiver that ran up her spine at that same moment.

Self control, Luca.

Self control.

Lord, give me a lot of those.
