Chapter 690
Chapter 690
However, she was moving too much. As she moved, a clear and unnoticeable chill directly climbed onto her back. No matter how tired she was and unwilling to open her eyes, Victoria was forced to open her eyes because of the chill. What she could see was a warm and wide chest, bronze and sculpted skin with an oppressive force. However, her delicate eyebrows frowned.
Her front was warm, but it was cold behind her back. The crazy memory of the previous night suddenly came into her mind and Victoria's brain seemed to be overwhelmed in an instant.
In the previous night, they...
How could she?
The fragmented scenes flashed across her mind. Victoria bit her lip and shyly covered her little face. She couldn't believe that she had done so many indescribable things with him last night and slept in his arms. How could she sleep so soundly?
God, she would rather be struck to death by lightning!
Was she brainwashed? Was she actually a bad woman in nature?
"Victoria, you've really forgotten the pain and healed your wound!" Victoria pursed her lips as she couldn't deny it.
The feeling of the previous night was strange yet wonderful. There was even some sense of happiness in it!
He considered her feelings and even gave her an unprecedented illusion of being loved and cared for!
She couldn't deny that last night was quite good!
She was wrapped in a powerful arm. As she blinked her eyes, there was a faint sense of loneliness in Victoria's expression.
She had fantasized about everything in front of her and was eager to pursue it. A chest to lean on and a man who could greet and hug her like sunshine whenever she woke up! If that matter hadn't happened, how wonderful would it have been if they were a normal couple!
A chill suddenly rose to Victoria's back as she was also shocked by her own sudden thought. She had lost her mind, had she not? How could she have the idea of having an everlasting love with a playboy whom she hated the most? It was too horrible!
She pinched herself hard on the thigh as Victoria pulled the quilt once more. She was awake but the coldness became even stronger. What happened?
Did the heater break down? Was the quilt too thin? Why was it so cold?
It was too uncomfortable!
Although she hated the coldness, she liked the warm feeling of burying herself in the quilt in winter. The coldness even spoiled her habit of staying in bed in winter, depriving her of good rest even though she was so tired. As she thought of that, Victoria felt a burst of anger in her heart.
"He has so much money and yet was still so stingy! As expected, the richer they get, the stingier they are! Why didn't he turn up the heat on the heater and get a thicker quilt?" She thought to herself.
Victoria turned and looked around for a brief moment. She couldn't stand it anymore. She slowly moved Trevor's hand that was around her waist, picked up the nightgown on the ground before she tiptoed out of bed.
When she was thinking about finding a quilt or turning on the air conditioner, she noticed that the air conditioner was turned on. Victoria paused as she fixed her eyes on it. Sixteen degrees?
What was wrong with him? It was already winter. With the heater being turned on, he still adjusted the air conditioner to the lowest temperature. Was he so eager to spend his money?
He was such a prodigal! Did he spend so much just to look for trouble?
Upon picking up and wearing the bathrobe, Victoria almost fainted from the anger within her. She then subconsciously went to find the remote control at the cab near the air conditioner.
After all, she wasn't familiar with the place. Additionally, most of the natural light in the room was blocked by the curtains and she didn't dare to make too much noise. After searching for a while, Victoria returned to bed and got under the quilt. Her cold body subconsciously leaned against Trevor. She wrapped herself in the quilt and even put her feet in between Trevor's legs. She didn't make any sound, but she was shouting loud in her heart.
"Please wake up! Please wake up!" She thought to herself.
"Wake up and tell me where the remote control is! How can I sleep like this? I haven't had enough rest yet!" She continued to yell in her heart. Trevor successively worked overtime and managed all sorts of trivial matters before the wedding. He even indulged himself for the entire night. He was so tired, and he slept very soundly.
However, because of his many years
of habit, as well as the fact that she
had just woke up, it had already alerted him. It was just that it was too comfortable, causing him to be unwilling to open his eyes. As he was muddleheaded, she leaned her delicate body over to him. He then instinctively reached out his hand and wrapped her in his embrace. He even subconsciously pulled her closer to him. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org
Her body was greeted with layers of warmth. She blinked her eyes and didn't know if she should be happy or sad. It wasn't that cold anymore. However, it was still uncomfortable when she was stuck in a limited area by him!
Miserable! So miserable!
After wailing for a brief moment in her heart, Victoria's cringing little hand gently poked his chest. "You're so heavy. You're not as comfortable as the quilt!" She said.
The sound of steady breathing came over her head. Victoria curled up her body and didn't move. She couldn't get herself to wake him up. She just pouted her mouth and muttered in a low voice. She pretended to be fierce. However, she was actually poking his chest and playing with herself. Trevor opened his eyes and saw such a scene.
"What a broken mansion! It's not as comfortable as my house! It's either too hot or too cold! Why was it as hot as h*ll? It's the cold winter, what the h'll is wrong with the air conditioner..." She mumbled.
Victoria was still confused as she thought to herself. Was it accidentally turned on by the servant when she was cleaning? Why did she adjust it to the lowest temperature? It was totally abnormal!
"It's so uncomfortable! I can't sleep. It's so cold..." Victoria muttered.
Trevor heard her soft mutter. His deep-set eyes narrowed into the shape of a crescent moon as his heart almost melted!
"Why don't we do some warm-up exercise?" Trevor said.
"Sounds good!" Victoria immediately replied.
As soon as she finished speaking, Victoria suddenly paused. "What?" She asked.
Who was talking to her?
When Victoria slowly looked up, she suddenly covered her mouth at once. Her face suddenly turned red because of shyness. "You... are you awake?" She said.
Trevor pulled her closer and kissed her on the forehead.
Victoria pushed him away before she could utter a single word. As her head shook like a rattle drum, she raised her hand and pointed to one side. "Trevor! You misheard me. I didn't say anything! No, I was talking about the air conditioner! The air conditioner! You should go and turn off the air conditioner first!" Victoria frantically said.
As soon as he saw her face that was covered in the quilt and her fair body that seemed to be covered with a layer of morning glow, Trevor couldn't help but smothered a laugh.
"Naha..." He laughed.
He picked up his cell phone and opened the program. He pressed it twice before pulling her into his embrace. "Baby, you'll get fat if you go back on your words!" Trevor said.
If he hadn't turned on the air conditioner before going to bed, would this little wild cat quietly snuggle in front of him?NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
"I didn't! I just..." Victoria uttered.
She was previously lost in her thoughts, so she didn't hear it clearly! That shouldn't be counted!
All of a sudden, Victoria pulled down
the quilt and shamelessly argued.

She suddenly looked into his deep and brilliant eyes. Under the shine of the pale golden sunlight, his chiseled face which looked like it was sculpted was as handsome as Apollo. She was deeply bewitched by him as she breathed heavily on him. As they looked at each other, Trevor was also attracted by her innocent and natural look, causing him to surrender himself to her. "Trevor, don't..." Victoria said.
His devoring gaze was passionate yet strange, as if a hungry leopard had locked onto its tender prey, or like a deep pool that was trying to suck her soul in. She wasn't used to it and was at a loss. Victoria pushed his face in another direction as her heart couldn't help beating wildly. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org
"Don't look at me like that!" Victoria yelled.
