"She's been in her office for three days!" I say, frustration getting the better of me.

It's been three days since the attack on Adrastos, which has all of shook. I want blood, blood for just thinking of hurting my nephew.

The mere act is punishable but to actually plan it, walk in to his room, a child's room and decide to go through with that sick twisted plan? That's what I want the villain's head for.

This sick rat walked in to a Drastos room and said, yeah I'll just kill him too. No!

"Someone get in there and drag this girl out because if I do, it won't be pretty." I say.

"You all forget that she is the moon goddess. If anyone is to find out who hurt the people in her life, it is Sabrina. Just allow her powers to do the work and so what if it has been three days? She has sealed off Max and Xander's rooms so they are safe." Mother says to all of us.

"Well, aren't they dying of hunger? I know for a fact Max has the appetite of a hundred pigs." I say, Anthony chuckling silently in his corner.

"Well, I sense them getting better so take a wild guess." Mother responds.

"I'm with the kid. What's taking Sabrina so long?" Hunter asks and I nod my head at mother.

"She is gathering herself. Her son almost died so can we all be understanding in this situation?" Aiden says to all of us but looking straight at me.

I groan.

"Well let's just hope Max or Xander saw this person." Anthony says, mother nodding her head in agreement.

"What if Drastos saw this assailant? Can you check mother?" I ask and my mother nods her head yes.

Picking Adrastos up, she looks in to his eyes as we all watch on. Seconds feel like hours while we wait for mother to say anything, a clue or something but we wait on and on, the door opening to reveal a disheveled Sabrina.

Walking out in to the garden, Sabrina eyes us all curiously. Her eyes resting on Aiden a bit too long, but I can't seem to pick up anything as her face holds no emotion.

Sabrina takes Drastos from mother and walks back in to the house. She did not even greet us, not a smile and it finally really really hit me that my sister almost lost her only child. We may be angry but I can't imagine as a parent how she must feel.

Not able to trust anyone right now. Thinking the safest place for her son is in her arms and I can understand that but time is running out. She has relieved everyone in her house of their duties, all the elders had to go too.

"Well, I'm worried now." Aiden, the first to say anything.

"She marked you so can't you sense anything?" Anthony asks Aiden, who shakes his head no.

"She is completely closed off. I can't pick up anything remotely close to feelings or emotions. I don't sense anger or even despair... she's cold. The Sabrina that walked out here is not the one we all know and how could she stay the same?" Aiden tells us.

Anthony stands and walks in to the house without a word. We all watch him walk away, not a word said until the door closes.

"My daughter has been through too much already. I just wish she could share the burden, we are here." Hunter says, a man many times void of any emotion was vulnerable today.

His eyes held so much sorrow, it broke my heart. Hunter and my mother knew all too well the fear of your child getting hurt, to keep them alive, they had to hide Sabrina on earth with no knowing of her life.

Sabrina walks out with Anthony, looking better than before. Amazing what a shower can do I always say but I'll keep my mouth shut on that for now.

"Adrastos was harmed. For that, I

had to take a moment to gather my feelings. I'm sorry to have had you all worried but I was scared of the anger rippling through me after saving my son. Had I given in to it's desires, I'm afraid I would never be able to come back and now understand the difficulty of being a parent. I want to avenge my son, to find the one that put him in so much pain that even I could not handle, I passed out." Sabrina says, walking closer to us.

Aiden stands but Brina gestures for him to sit back down and I share a look with CJ.

"As of right now, I know the one that killed Percy and put both Maximus and Xander in dire situations where they are now fighting for their lives. I will handle this myself as this was an attack on me." Sabrina tells us.

"Will we ever know?" I ask, wanting a minute with the culprit before she takes his life.

"If I tell you who it is, you will not

hesitate to attack him. For now it will

stay my secret... I am deeply hurt by

his actions and I don't know if I can

ever trust anyone in to my life any more after this. From this day on, my family will remain the only ones in my life because I can't afford any more heartbreak. I doubt any of you... I mean my own blood would seek to harm me purposefully." Sab says and I growl at her words.

It could be anyone, looking at Aiden who seems to be the only one that recently joined the fam bam. Could it be?

Is he seeking revenge for what Brina did to his family? If so, what makes him think that Adrastos deserved it? He can't just say fair game. Aiden looks back at me and I keep my gaze on him. If he is indeed the one responsible for almost killing my only nephew then yes, Sabrina is right.

I won't waste a second and I'm now making it my job to find out what happened.

"Also, can someone arrange Percy's burial? Put two other burials in plan just in case." Sabrina says and mother volunteers to.

Won't challenge her on that one.

"Why plan their deaths? You don't think they'll make it?" Cj asks, beating me to the question.

"One can never know. I did my best at trying to heal them but it could be that I was just buying time." Sabrina answers, tears brimming in her eyes. "You can always bring them back if they die." Aiden says and Sabrina throws him an angry look before composing herself.

"I will not play with fate. I brought back Josey's mates but it changed nothing, they are on earth fucking everything with two legs instead of praying to me to bring Josey back to them." Sabrina answers and my eyes bulge out.

"Sorry, what?" I ask and Sabrina let's out a sigh.

"There's a price I pay for bringing the dead back to the living and as much as I'd like my son to grow up knowing his father, for Xander to at the very least die having an heir to takeover, there isn't much I can do. You saw how I almost lost my son and bringing them back is not worth losing Adrastos. I won't take that chance." Sabrina says.

"Okay, I'll forget what you said about

the twins. I just.... you can't possibly think Max, as much as I hate him won't survive this. That fucker is tough and let's be honest, Percy was weak Yes! Yes! That poison was not fair but Xander was poisoned first and he is still fighting it, lets just be hopeful okay? That's all I'm saying." I say, my hands up in surrender.

Sabrina nods her head at me then turns around to walk away, Drastos in her arms.

"You certainly have a way with words. Tell me CJ, were you all not taught about a time and place?" Anthony asks, Cj shaking his head with a light chuckle.

"You can all joke around all you want but I said what you're all thinking. Percival was weak and we all knew it but let's not compare him to the other two fighting inside. They are strong wolves if anything, they will fight to stay alive for Sabrina's sake. At least we know Xander will." I say, remembering Aiden was with us, I look at him.

"No offense. I just... no offense." I say, groaning out loud as Anthony laughs at me.

"A time and place Jose. A time and place." He says and I roll my eyes before looking back at Aiden.

I will be keeping my eyes on him from now on, that look Sabrina gave him and lack of affection from her side was telling. They are newly mated and the fact that Brina is not looking for comfort in his arms was alarming.

I can't be the only one with an inkling of his involvement. Aiden is now suspect number one and I was going to get to the bottom of this.☐☐☐☐☐
