A Night With The Ruthless Mafia Don

Chapter 45: The Gambino Vendetta

“Since this bitch is more important than capturing our parents’ murderer, I’m gonna kill her right here and right now!” Alexandro’s voice vibrated with a dangerous intensity, sending multiple waves of fear down Marisa’s spine.

The room fell dead silent as everyone watched the ongoing drama. The air thickened with tension, but Alejandro seemed unfazed by his twin brother’s threat. He continued sipping from the glass of alcohol in his hand with his calm gaze fixed on Marisa.

“It seems like you don’t care if I pull the trigger and kill her right now!” Alexandro sneered as he pressed the gun harder against Marisa’s head. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.

Marisa’s heart began racing fast, and she began hoping that Alejandro would intervene and rescue her from being shot by his twin brother. The top members remained silent as they watched what was going on.

Alejandro finished the alcohol in his glass, then he carelessly threw away the empty glass, causing it to crash and break into pieces.

Everyone watched as Alejandro began walking towards Alexandro and Marisa. His right hand was buried in his pocket, and he had a deadly look on his face as he approached them.

Marisa sighed in relief when she saw Alejandro walking towards them. She felt a bit happy that Alejandro would finally intervene and she wouldn’t be killed by Alexandro.

But Marisa was surprised when Alejandra walked past her and Alexandro, and went to sit on a couch. She found it hard to believe that Alejandro just walked past her without saving her from the hands of his deadly twin brother.

“Come on, Alex. Shoot her” Alejandro said as he sat comfortably on a couch.

Marisa’s eyes widened in shock when she heard Alejandro’s statement. Confusion and disbelief swept over her as she realized that Alejandro had chosen not to intervene, leaving her vulnerable to Alexandro’s deadly intentions.

‘Did he just tell his godforsaken twin brother to shoot me?’ Marisa thought fearfully, and her heart raced faster when she felt Alexandro pressing the mouth of his pistol harder against her head.

“So you mean this bitch mean nothing to you? You mean I can kill her right here and right now?” Alexandro asked with a mischievous smirk, his finger brushing against the trigger.

“Yeah,” Alejandro nodded with a smirk as he crossed his legs. “Pull the trigger and kill her.”

As Alexandro toyed with the trigger, Marisa felt an overwhelming mix of betrayal and fear. She couldn’t comprehend how Alejandro, the man she thought might protect her, had callously thrown her into the clutches of danger.

The room held its breath, a suffocating silence hanging over the imminent threat. Alexandro’s smirk widened, fueled by the apparent indifference of his twin brother. Marisa, desperate for a lifeline, pleaded with her eyes for Alejandro to reconsider.

Just as the tension reached its peak, Alexandro abruptly lowered the gun, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “You’re lucky, sweetheart. This time, I’ll spare you,” he declared, withdrawing the gun from Marisa’s head.

Marisa, still in shock, struggled to comprehend the twisted dynamics at play. She cast a bewildered glance at Alejandro, who remained seated, seemingly unbothered by the near-death experience.

Alexandro, turning away from Marisa, addressed Alejandro with a scornful tone, “You’ve become weak, Alejandro. This obsession with a woman has clouded your judgment.”

Alejandro’s response was a cold chuckle. “Weak? No, Alex. I’ve just chosen a different path.”

“Let’s leave that aside and face the bastard who murdered our parents.” Alexandro said, turning his attention to the Reverend father who knelt beside dagger.

“Ah… yes,” Alejandro rose to his feet and adjusted his suit, his lips curling into a dark, mischievous smirk.

Marisa stood among the top members and she watched as Alejandro and Alexandro walked towards the man wearing a Reverend father’s attire. Blade, one of the top members, gazed at Marisa, wondering who she was, what relationship she had with Alejandro, and why she was brought to the Gambinos’ empire.

“Salvador Morello,” Alejandro said as he stood in front of the man who was dressed like a Reverend father. “First of all, I’d love to acknowledge your wisdom and smart moves. Who would have thought that you, the leader of the Morello family, has been disguising as a Reverend father just to avoid getting caught by us.”

The room buzzed with a charged atmosphere as the Gambino brothers confronted the apparent mastermind behind their parents’ demise. Marisa, still reeling from the recent threat on her life, wondered what was going on.

“Yeah, who would have thought so,” Alexandro chimed in with a smirk. “We’ve been searching for you ever since you murdered our parents, and to be honest, I sometimes thought you were… invisible. But turns out you’re just a stupid, old geezer who’s scared of dying. So you chose to disguise as a Reverend all these years. Fuck you!”

Alejandro’s smirk widened as he crouched in front of the man named Salvador Morello.

“Salvador, I’ve got some questions to ask you, and if you value your life, don’t lie to me,” Alejandro warned, his voice carrying a lethal undertone. However, Salvador remained silent, staring at Alejandro with a blank expression.

“Firstly, why the hell did you kill our parents?” Alejandro asked, his gaze penetrating into Salvador’s eyes as if searching for elusive answers.

Salvador stared at Alejandro for a moment before bursting into a fit of laughter, a reaction that held everyone’s attention.

“You want to know why I killed your godforsaken parents?” Salvador inquired after laughing to satisfaction.

Alejandro’s jaw clenched in anger, a visceral reaction to Salvador’s insolence. Despite the rising fury within him, Alejandro restrained the urge to resort to violence, recognizing the importance of extracting answers from Salvador.

“You want to know why I killed your useless and annoying parents?” Salvador taunted with a mocking smile, intensifying the air of disdain that permeated the room.

“Well, ya see, your folks were kinda in the way of my Mafia family climbin’ to the top, so I had to do what needed doin’. I had to get rid of ’em,” Salvador declared with a big ol’ grin, his confession echoing in the room.

Alejandro’s eyes stared right at Salvador, a mix of mad and not believing what he just heard showing on his face. Salvador spilling the beans about his motive just made the whole family history and betrayal thing even more tangled.

“You wrecked my family for your own big plans?” Alejandro’s voice, full of anger and feeling like he got stabbed in the back, sliced through the thick air.

Salvador’s grin stuck around, like he wasn’t bothered by the storm brewing. “Ambition needs some sacrifices, Alejandro Gambino. Your folks were just part of the plan in the big picture.”

The heaviness of Salvador’s truth hung in the room, leaving everyone there dealing with the huge letdown and the shady reasons that brought down Alejandro and Alexandro’s parents.

“You son of a bitch!” Alexandro growled furiously, landing a solid punch on Salvador’s face, sending him crashing to the floor.

Salvador chuckled mockingly, sitting up with blood dripping from his lips after Alexandro’s powerful hit.

“You know what? Both of you are the real bastards,” Salvador sneered, wiping the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand. “I mean, you’ve both offed plenty of parents and wrecked countless families. So why the hell are you so upset that I offed your parents, huh? Why the hell are you in pain that I killed your parents when you two have murdered loads and loads of parents?”

“Why do we want to kill you for murdering our parents, even though we’ve done the same to others?” Alejandro questioned, rising to his full height.

He continued, “Well, other parents weren’t as loving and supportive as ours. Plus, others wouldn’t tell their kids the truth about this wicked world, but ours did. They taught us everything we needed to know and how to survive. Our parents were special to us, and you had the damn audacity to kill them…” Alejandro paused, pulling a handgun from under his white suit. Alexandro also aimed his handgun at Salvador.

Marisa’s eyes widened as she witnessed the unfolding drama. Alejandro and his twin brother both had their weapons trained on Salvador.

“You know, the night you killed our parents, we were just ten years old, and the next day was supposed to be our birthday,” Alejandro stated with a cold tone. “Despite our parents being heartless Mafia leaders, they took time to plan our birthday. But you came that fateful night and ruined everything. You took away the only people who truly cared about us.”

As Alejandro spoke, Marisa couldn’t help but feel a sense of pity for him, hearing the pain and loss in his words.

The air crackled with tension as Alejandro and Alexandro held their handguns steady, their eyes locked onto Salvador. Marisa, on the sidelines, observed the scene unfold with a mix of horror and fascination.

Salvador, bloodied but defiant, met their gaze with a twisted grin. “You can point those things all you want, but you can’t change the past. Your parents were casualties of a brutal world, just like many others. You’re not the first to lose someone dear, and you won’t be the last.”

Alejandro’s jaw clenched, the pain of his past colliding with the anger boiling within him. “You think you can justify their deaths with your twisted logic? You took away the only family we had.”

Salvador shrugged nonchalantly. “In this life, family is a liability. They slow you down, make you weak. I did what was necessary to rise to power.”

With a sudden intensity, Alexandro spoke, his voice cutting through the charged atmosphere. “We don’t give a damn about your rise to power. You killed our parents, and now you’ll pay for it.”

Before Salvador could say another word, both Alejandro and Alexandro fired multiple shots at him. Fear gripped Marisa as she witnessed the brutal scene. She covered her ears as the loud gunshots reverberated through the room.

Before Salvador could say another word, both Alejandro and Alexandro let loose a storm of shots, the loud gunfire echoing through the room. Marisa, fear written all over her face, naturally covered her ears as the sharp cracks echoed around.

The air filled with the strong smell of gunpowder as Salvador, caught in the rain of bullets, staggered backward. Each impact marked the end of a long-standing grudge. The room turned into a wild mix of violent sounds, a harsh climax to the story of betrayal and payback.

When the last echoes of gunfire faded away, a heavy quiet took over the room. Alejandro and Alexandro, their handguns still smoking, stood over Salvador’s motionless figure. Marisa cautiously uncovered her ears, keeping her eyes fixed on the aftermath of the intense clash.

The twins, their expressions devoid of emotion and their eyes haunted by ghosts of the past, exchanged a meaningful look. Alejandro slowly turned to address the rest of his gang members.

“Now that Salvador Morello is out of the picture, we’re launching an attack on the Morello family. We’re gonna wipe ’em out for good. Without their leader, they’ll be vulnerable, and we’ll crush them,” Alejandro declared with a cold and menacing tone.

Shivers ran down Marisa’s spine as she shifted her gaze to Salvador’s lifeless body on the ground. It was at that moment that she realized she had unwittingly become entangled in a world of ruthless vendettas and merciless power struggles. She was gripped by fear when dhe realized that her life would never remain the same.
